Alright Matt, yours are accepted. and Vlaster, great idea! Go with that!
Name: Elizabeth Haywood, Ellie, Battery Girl.

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Ellie stands at a small 5'0ft and weights 110lbs. She has hazel eyes and light-brown hair. She has fair, peachy skin with a nice rounded face to complement it. Ellie prefers wearing a shirt, shorts with her favourite pair of striped tights and her boots with leg warmers, along with a sheriff's leather jacket with a hood that is lined with fake-fur. (Which as taken from her father, but the badge was removed)

Side: Good

Personality: Ellie behaves with a very non-fighting, pacifist like nature. She's not really the type to charge head first into combat, but take her time and plan out a little bit. Due to this non-fighting nature, Ellie can come off as a little bit of a coward, and a little bit weak from time to time. But in truth Ellie will stand up for herself and what she believes in, including her friends and family. Ellie sadly can also be a little bit too paranoid in tough situations and a little bit too prudent. When it comes to social situations, while not shy or socially awkward Ellie isn't too interested in making a lot of friends, but she will be socially interactive with people when she needs to be.

Biography: Ellie grew up as an only child in a small town far outside of New York City. Her father, Clyde Haywood was the sheriff of said down, and would take her around on patrols when she was small. Due to her mother leaving the two at a small age, it was hard for Clyde to raise Ellie and have a constant 24/7-patrol job. This meant from ages 10-15 Ellie was at home alone a lot. This was the key to unlocking her powers. Ellie was studying alone late at night when a robber entered her house with a gun in hand. Ellie was scared and frightened and the robber grabbed her hand. That was when her powers came into effect, a needle of energy piercing through the robber’s stomach just as her father enters the door. Panicked, Clyde reported to the DUP and turned Ellie in, right after giving her his sheriff jacket. Ellie lived within the walls of her DUP cell for 5 months, meanwhile being tested and taught how to fight, to slaughter all the while she was tinkering and fiddling with her abilities. This shaped Ellie into the young woman she is today. Resentment and pacifism. Ellie was let free after Delsin Rowe took down Brooke Augustine, and she reunited with her father. Since then, she graduated from high school, along with her and Clyde moving into New York City.

Power: Stored Energy

Power-: Lamp Sedate: Ellie will drop a bright orb that will explode, knocking back her enemies but not killing them. This helps for Ellie's very pacifist, friendly nature. Instead of
killing the enemies she sedates them.

Energy Needles: Ellie will blast small, rapid, needle like blasts that will shoot at the enemy. These can also help with stopping the enemy by pinning them against a wall or the floor, depending on the location.

Light Bomb: This would be a more dangerous attack for someone like Ellie. While similar to Lamp Sedate, Ellie will chuck a smaller orb that will explode, hurting her enemies a lot more than lamp sedate.

Power Coat: Ellie will coat her arms and legs in energy, which allows her to run faster, along with punching and kicking harder for a certain amount of time. This helps with getting through slightly tougher enemies or running away

Other: Ellie's a Lesbian and is open (And trust me, i'm gay myself so i won't have any trouble RPing her. ;D)

I'll be writing her Bio as you type, it'll be done soon.

Since the powers kind of seem to be related to evolution and genetics, would it be okay to make a pair of twins with completely opposite powers?

YES. YES YES YES YES. YOU GENIUS!!

The idea of using a IRL photo is disgusting, like seriously (unless you have direct permission).

I changed it so that it's not a must, but a recommendation. Does that make you happy?

Essentially electricity generation. Also, sorry but I'm not using an IRL photo. I can draw him from a few different angles and stuff but Matt and Amie are OCs and it's far easier to work with them when I can draw them, and I'm not going to creep through photos of other people online to find one similar to my character. Not sure what else you need for the description.

Well, actually we already have pictures, I don't see how you need to write how she looks when we got pictures. get what i'm saying? and that's cool if you don't want to use IRL pictures.

Well I assume that people can control their powers to an extent after a while. I would want to be able to use it at will at some point. It won't really affect bios at all. No one knows they even have an Alternate Shift. They add it to their character sheet initially, but they don't learn about it until much later, if at all. If nothing else, I'd like to name the powers Shifts.

Ok then. and about your CS. It's good... Buuuut can be improved. for one, the ability. I'm guessing what you mean by electricity/lightning is electrokinesis or Electricity Generation. and your appearance. I better say this now and add it too the rules. But could you use an IRL photo. I don't care who, but it be easier to work with. an be a tiny bit more descriptive with the written form? and the personality needs to be bigger. If you have skype we can chat and talk about your character.

*Shifts, not Powers. You are a Shifter, and your power is called a "shift," as it essentially shifts reality in a confined location resulting in a supernatural event. Fire, water, metal, electricity, speed, strength, eyesight, etc can all be shifted, essentially giving you a power. All Shifts have an alternate extension of themselves. It is discovered upon extensive use of the main shift, through concentration/meditation or through adrenaline. This is called your "Alternate Shift," as it is a new power than can be used as easily as the first. The process of discovery is called the "Bridge." It is coined from finding a connection, aka a bridge, between two separate powers. They have a similar factor or property, in nature, design, impact or toll on the body and mind. In order to unlock your Alternate Shift, you must locate the Bridge between the two. The term has become a highly confidential password among shifters, shared only with other shifters who show the potential and drive to discover it. It is often used in a more discreet manner as a form of communication between shifters. Phrases like "Have you seen the new bridge?" and "I saw (person''s name) on the bridge yesterday" are small talk among normal people. Only other shifters know that it actually means someone has unlocked their AS and that the speaker has met them.

...Love you man *Hugs* But here's the thing. This is going to make writing bios friggin hard for some people. and remember, i said that these powers are activated through fear, sadness and anger. No offence, I think this is GREAT! but it complete ignores my ideas and makes things a little harder to write. Maybe we can try to make it less complicated and work it in with my ideas?

If a person is pushed to their maximum, wouldn't they have discovered their branch power? Suggestion:Shifter's have, say-Base power:Branch power (spawns from base power upon overuse of power or through adrenaline):

Oh yeah, I'll add that. Anything else?
'in a sec'
