It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

Name: Thasseldar

Gender: Identifies as Male.

Age: ~600 human years, although time has worked differently depending on the realm.

Alignment: Hero; Lawful Neutral

Race: Realmswalker (From a planet located in another dimension)

Personality: Brooding, with the appearance of being friendly enough, but very quiet when it comes to something just about him. Although he doesn’t attack anyone without proper cause, he doesn’t hesitate against using lethal force when threatened.

Powers

-Realmswalker Skillset: Being one who travels across as many as 3 dimensions in a 24 hour period on a busy day, Thasseldar can, in effect, teleport to worlds of his choice, so long as he knows of their existence and has someplace that he can imagine to teleport to. He also has an ability special to him that each Realmswalker has to themselves.

-Summoning: He is capable of summoning minions, albeit ones that are guaranteed to be weaker in general than himself, although this particular character uses minions much less often than others of his kind. With this ability is a sub-ability to bring those that wish to willingly go with him, although it is possible for him to force move someone depending on the preparation and willpower of said target.

-The Staff: An ancient looking staff that is a sort of futuristic technology blended with the staff that a wizard from LOTR would use. It has two places where it can produce energy scythe blades, is capable of shooting small energy bolts, and helps him channel his power more effectively.

-Reflexes: Due to the nature of his species, he has very good reflexes.

-Teleportation: He can potentially teleport if he is able to concentrate long enough and visualize where he is going to be.

Ability: He has an almost intimate knowledge of the energy flowing around him, and thus is capable of shooting balls of energy or overloading power circuits, whatever the situation may be.

History

The Realmswalker is a species from a dimension/world known as Kallathan, which is homeworld to a diverse set of beings. Realmswalkers are the most adventurous of the lot, being capable of phasing to completely different worlds if need be. A specific order known as the Peacekeepers was formed by an alliance of three powerful Realmswalkers (Thasseldar, Epsilon and Igorossus). Its mission: Fight on the side of good and order wherever it may be, as chaos tends to extend itself without needing any encouragement. ALthough this order is home to a rough dozen Realmswalkers, Epsilon has vanished and Igorossus has fallen to the side of evil.

Thasseldar himself is the youngest of the three, although that in part is due to the varied environments that affect how time is distributed - a year in one realm may be 5 or more in another. He was enrolled at an official Academy for Realmswalkers in order to properly hone his powers. He has proven himself level headed and intelligent, which makes up for his tendency to lack in raw power where other beings he has come in contact with have a lot more.

He had heard tales of a newly sprung up tavern, which was said to hold many beings from many places. It was an opportunity he had no intention to pass up... of course, he would be doing this alongside a new mission he was taking up.

Favorite Drink: Honestly, all he likes is something mildly spicy... or something new that isn't fatal. Dying in a dimension may not kill his presence in all of them, but it would hurt like heck...

His relevance here, however, came during a mission in a dimension not far from our own. Seeing “Calamity” as a threat to the balance of the dimension, he teamed with others to help create a spell that would banish him and his family. The only reason why he is not actively hunted by Calamity is his secrecy - the power he contributed was secret and temporary, and when completed, there was little trace that he had anything to do with it at all.

The first sign something went wrong was when he followed up on a report by one of his colleagues that a new “big nasty” as they are so called, had arrived on the current dimension. It didn’t take long to figure that this was Calamity himself.

Now, Thasseldar has a new mission: create a band of heros and wipe out Calamity from all dimensions, once and for all. Ambitious, long and difficult describe the goal, but he intends to see it done. While, of course, he multitasks at a separate tavern that he has discovered elsewhere...

In that case, I was hoping to be a guy recruiting heros vs "big nasty" :)
I was bringing up the third character you mentioned... but which side ya think my guy ought to be on?
If you like, your new guy and mine could be associates?...
calamity is after his wife and kids and I would rather have control of that character so sorry but no for now, the ones who betrayed him are either in the other dimension or dead if you wanna be one of the guys who betrayed him though I can let that happen

That was a little confusing... so was that a yes or no on a character that betrayed him (he would be more of a side guy anyways, not a main culprit)?
You go into it, so slap a character in the character section and go right in.
I'm thinking of being one of the fellows Calamity is after; that alright?

TSDC

TSDC Headquarters; office of CEO Argus

The office of the CEO would have been cold, had the entire building not been regulated with thermometer systems. The setting sun made for some orange and red reflections to go around the dimly lit office. It was a beautiful sunset, but Argus didn’t notice.

Problems, one after another. The fall of allies, the closing of offices, the growing desperation of the planetary government… all began to take their toll. And, of course, the loss of a critical link to a planetary university which closed down after riots threatened its safety.

Argus was browsing his news station of choice, the MAN, when he was pinged by Logan, a close friend and department head. Shifting all other windows on his screen aside with his artificial arm, he took the call. Logan’s face appeared as a hologram.

“Ah, Logan… couldn’t wait for the board meeting?”

Logan chuckled. “I could bring this up there or here, but perhaps it would be better if I briefed you first.” His face turned serious. “No doubt you heard about what happened to Hephaestus. I checked it out, sent some folks to confirm it, and I am certain that the company has completely gone down. No assets left, the rest are in the hands of La Parranda.”

Argus expected the news. Only one bit concerned him in particular. “We sent a shipment of OBC shells and other artillery over to them a few weeks ago. Do you think the colony has it now?”

Logan paused for a minute. “...I haven’t the faintest idea, sorry. On the bright side, if they do, they shouldn’t have any equipment that can actually use them.”

Argus nodded. “Alright. There are more issues anyways, but we’ll get to that during the board meeting. Did you send the shipment over to the boys at Horizon?”

The shipment included 6 armored infantry suits of a new model, a pair of Harassers, and a technician who knew the whole lot of them.

“The shipment was sent a few days ago by dropship, they should be arriving shortly.”

“Very well. See you at the meeting. Oh, one more thing.”

“Yes?”

“Set up a division of heavy units, throw in some BeamBlaster 55k’s, use the new armored suit, the works. Preferably all newer model technology. I don’t need to spend 5 minutes looking at the news to see terrorist organizations and revolutionaries everywhere, not to mention the hate against corporations like ours.”

“Right, I’ll be on that after the meeting.”

Argus closed the call and leaned back. It would be a long week, for sure.

5 minutes from New Horizon United's Airspace; aboard the TSDC Dropship

“This is Dropship 0064 of the TSDC requesting permission to enter your airspace,” the captain said on an open broadcast to Destiny’s Descend. The dropship was regular sized for a dropship, yet almost filled to the brim, containing a small tech crew, 6 heavy suits and a pair of harassers. If accepted into the airspace, they would enter shortly.

I'll re-sub this if you are honestly going to continue it.
