It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

Perhaps have that in interest checks; people press a button to officially express interest and press it again to say nope, didn't work out?

That would be good for me as I have a tendency to join interest checks... half of which either die or I just don't like anymore for one reason or another.
Welcome. Have Fun.

End of response.

Welcome :) if ya got specific questions, feel free to shoot me a PM.
Will characters die?
Thasseldar wasn't surprised at folks turning down the beer, he didn't plan to have it anyways. Of all the containers he snatched, he must have taken one not the usual that time. Oh well, we can get to business faster.

He would have liked to wait for a little while - the beer was more of a time waster than anything else - but he supposed that this would be a start at the least.

Addressing Miff in particular, he introduced himself. "Although these ladies have met me on a few occasions, you have not, so let me introduce myself. My name is Thasseldar, although Linia likes to insist otherwise, and I brought you folks here to show Davenport exactly why one should not underestimate heros,"

"The time has come... to eliminate Calamity."

Letting that sink in for a few seconds, he continued. "That said, doing this alone and attempting to defeat him with raw power will result in the fate that countless heros before us had experienced," and some of my own associates when banishing him... "so we need to approach this differently than a normal hero would. The stereotypical hero would attempt to defeat him one on one. Those are the heros that went down along with the street they made their stands in. He is not going to be an easy victory."

"For now... I am open to suggestions, and even better, plans, on how he can be defeated. Hopefully more heros can come in, as we can only be stronger united."
Pretty soon I will have an inventory of resources that the company can export. I'll explain the rates a bit.

x0 means it is either impossible to create something with current resources, there is no demand and therefore no production, or that the product is not supported. x1 means every so often IC time I will add an amount (under 10, mostly) to each item with x1. x2 or more means I will take what I would have given an item x1 and will multiply it by whatever number when I update the list.

The order by new horizon hasn't been calculated yet, nor the new project Argus made for a security force.

Edit: it is up, section is "Market Information" below the extra information header.
I'm off for tonight, so good luck to you folks :)
Eh... I don't know, reputation kind of speaks for itself around here. We are a community in which lots of folks know lots of other folks; I am familiar with a lot of names in the sections I frequent and therefore the types of people I am associated with/don't particularly trust or want to work with. The only wildcards to me in this are brand new members without any reputation yet.
There ya go :) now all we need is a few more victims players to spice up the environment...
Hanson knew there were folks coming over, but he didn't expect a horse-man to be one of them. Nonetheless, he showed the horse-man in to Thasseldar's room and got out just in time to show a pair of ladies to his room as well.

After the visitors were all in, he wondered. "What could a mysterious businessman, two ladies and a horse-man possibly be doing in there?"

Thasseldar welcomed everyone in. Business as per usual, Linia," he replied to her with a smile.

"Now then. I would like to wait and see if anyone else will be stopping by before we get down to business, so in the meantime, have some beer." he took a few bottles out of the fridge in the other room and placed it on the table.
