It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

I'm of the belief that anything "magical" can happen - in the comfort of one's own PM box.
So, I did more testing on it. Line-by-line.

-First bolded pair of words worked.
-I pasted in lines one at a time, which broke the hider and I had to re-make it.
-I took the content "Palutena: That Ridley's just a clone. The one in front of you is the original. However, they fight more or less the same. You can keep him at bay with your arrows, but don’t rely on them too much." and pasted it in, piece at a time, and it worked up to the end, and still worked after that, with no other portion breaking.
-So I decided to go backwards and test it.

Viridi: Watch out for his corkscrew! Don’t bother blocking that move, just get out of the way and quickly counterattack him from behind.

Palutena: Focus Pit. Ridley may be slow on the ground, but is incredibly fast when in the air. Keep an eye on what he’s up to.

Viridi: I heard that when Samus was a little girl, her home planet was raided by the Space Pirates, Ridley would’ve exterminated her if her mother wasn’t there to push her out of the way and sacrifice herself! That takes some serious gut right there.

Palutena: That’s Ridley, the leader of the Space Pirates. He is also Samus’ eternal arch-nemesis, for they go back a long way.

Pit: Oh no! It’s the space pterodactyl of doom!

So, re-wrote the lines that broke, on my own, without doing any copying. Just flat out looking and typing what was written.

Works perfectly, so I looked at what was consistant across the broken ones that was not present in unbroken content.

I targeted the ' symbols, they seemed a little different from what you have vs. what I have in shape - but on testing it there wasn't a difference.

So, I decided to do it the hard way - rewrite all the stuff you have. Try and copy/pasting what I wrote and see if it works on yours?...

I can't explain why it works when I re-wrote the section, but if it works, feel free to go with that and ditch the old junk :)
Quite true, that, considering I don't really know what's going on outside my little hotel.

Welcome :)
It's the last post I intended to throw up until more folks have the chance to respond, anyways. I think I set the demons portion to be rather self sustaining anyways, since folks can control them if they want (they are just NPC's).
Wright entered the doorway with the priest guiding him in, barely noticing the Chief's screams in an almost blur like state. He didn't know the man well, although he had seen him around. Nice enough man; John, was it?

He was able to sit down for a moment, just long enough for the next bit of chaos to ensue. His gun probably wouldn't be enough, he knew, as he was on his last magazine - with 8 rounds left. He took off the backpack and got out his crowbar that was in there. The Chief had everyone bring one... the chief now laying dead on the sidewalk...

He snapped to attention when one of the things ran up the stairs, into the lobby and straight at the priest. He gripped the crowbar, an almost mad look entering his eyes. "Oh no you don't, you little fucker!" he yelled at the zombie while swinging at its head with all his might. The head came clean off, bouncing off the walls of the lobby. Strangely... he felt a lot better with that action. More of them were coming up the stairs. They would have to get out of the lobby or somehow hold it off, but what could he do? He was the one man who seemed to have a gun in a room of panic alongside a priest who swung his cross like a bat against the stuff of his nightmares... he had to work hard to resist the urge to laugh at this whole extremely strange turn of events.
Nartholan shrugged innocently. " I don't control them." Fairly true, considering they were really just barbarians who knew nothing better than to smash things and kill people that were pointed in the direction of the now rather... damaged booth. He wasn't concerned that they would attack him, although he did have a short sword tucked in his coat just in case, not that he was particulary good with it. Then again, he wasn't sure what that would do against beings bred for war who had met their own on the battlefields that he had spectated on a few times.

Both demons swung their swords at the corners of the booth, quickly chopping portions up and being almost smashed by the booth's top coming down, if they werent rather big by themselves. One of them saw Aria and moved in her direction.

((Feel free to take control of them as you wish from this point forwards, folks))
Welcome :)
I personally keep a policy of letting at least a couple other people post before I do anything else. For example, I am going to wait until more people do their introls at the apartment before actually doing anything such as actually entering it (and naturally waiting for whatever happened to the poor police chief that got run into a streetlight with a zombie lurking outside of his door).
Just down the road of the apartment; fleeing police cruiser

Wright hadn’t needed to be told twice. Smugglers? Bring them on. Bank robbers? He could take those. Serial killers? A few men of backup and all would be alright. Zombie things that tore the head off of a novice two feet away from him? Nope, nope.

He stepped on the gas just as a large thud sounded on the top of the vehicle. A hand appeared on the front windshield and began to pound at it. Wright couldn’t shoot at it or the one thing between him and it would be gone… looking at the rearview mirror, he saw what appeared to be the face of a man who could have once been identified as National Guard screeching at him, the ghastly, bloody face illuminated by the headlights another police cruiser that had smashed into the sidewalk, covered in those… things. He kept driving, swerving back and forth in an attempt to get those things off.

He had no choice but to start firing when the thing on the back of the vehicle broke the back windshield. He turned and shot it off, firing three rounds, with one smacking it on the head and sending it flying. Unfortunately, with his attention occupied with the back, he failed to notice the streetlight in front of him.

Slamming into the light and crunching up the hood, he was smacked into the steering wheel. The monster on the windshield fared worse - it smacked into the streetlight, its head bending an impossible angle as it screeched at him and collapsed on the road just by the passenger side door. Grabbing his backpack that had been dropped by a National Guard member prior to his suicide mission advance from the back seat, he fell out of the vehicle with it in his hands, holding up the gun to whatever hell might be coming after him. He got up and started going in the direction of the apartment - he didn’t exactly have a subtle arrival since he slammed into a streetlight just outside the window.
