Hello..
I am always looking for new Rp'ers and writers to help fill in gaps between my posts in Rp's that I am currently participating in. I love to create new characters, realms, worlds, all very displayed. I am an artist so I like to add a bit of visual stimuli when I have the time. I try very hard to make it all very immersive. I have a few characters listed below along with my interests and other info...

My likes and interests are Medieval, Low-medium Fantasy, Fantasy, Historical, Ancient, Steampunk, Pirate/Swashbuckler, Dark, gritty themes (18+), Modern, Sci-fi, Future, Dystopian, Apocalyptic, Slice of life, Romance (with plot only), Mystery, Military, Mech/Mecha, Western, Colonial, just to name a few. I like play by post, or chat as well. Large group, small group, 1x1.

My dislikes are Fandoms, High School, ANIME, anything with FUR.. Did I mention fandoms? and fur, already?? I really prefer to play original Rp's and original charatacters for the most part, and I am always looking for new and engaging people to write with. If interested please feel free to PM me.

Writing Style-

Literate, descriptive, multi-para to novella posts. Mature and well written, with grammatical and punctual prowess, and I expect the very same from my partners. Please do not waste my time, and I will do my best not to waste yours.

Hello, I am inquiring to find a few good writers on here to role-play with. I am very active, and I check the guild every day. I only do descriptive style high-casual to advanced RPs (leaning more to the advanced side), but all I ask is for good quality, and literacy goes a long way with me. Quality over quantity is preferred. I recently started a new rp saga in the advanced section, but things are getting off to a slow start, leaving me with nothing to look forward to. As I said, I am very active and I like to post a little something everyday, or at least three times a week.

I usually do themes that are dark in nature and mature. I play both male and female genders. I don't really get into the whole smut thing, though I don't mind doing sex scenes. I am hetero, I don't mind female on female but no male on male, just cant do it. Don't have anything against it, to each their own, but it isn't for me. I can't stand teeny bopper type genres or fandoms so please don't ask ( glittering vampires make me nauseous, I think I am allergic) . I like to do original rps with original characters only. I am also an artist and I love to add visual aids to my rps (original work when I have the time, especially when I really get into a story). I do a lot of work with graphite, ink, and recently watercolors. I also do a lot of work with photoshop (currently learning).
I used to frequent the guild a lot, before the crash. I have been roleplaying since the late 90's. That's right kids, I'm in my thirties. I have been roleplaying online since msn had free chats and groups, up until I found the guild.

My interests are as follows:

Medieval era
Steampunk (recent)
Vampire (glitter free)
Victorian era
WWII era
Post apocalyptic
Alternate history
High Fantasy
Resistance/War

Dislikes are:

High school
Fandoms
Romance (when it is too thick)

I recently had an idea about two characters who are in a sanitarium around the 40's, who develop a relationship, mainly in passing and during common free time together. They both suffer from some type of mental condition, i.e. anxiety/depression, delusions, hallucinations, a cutter maybe, or someone who is suicidal, alcoholic or drug dependency, that sort of thing. Not sure if anyone would be interested, just throwing it out there.

In the past I usually did fiction type high fantasy type characters, a lot of vampire rps, things of that nature, but I have recently wanted to delve into more real-world, down to earth type characters (trying to broaden my horizons). I usually go more for character growth and development, relationship building, bonding type rps, and I tend not to go for a lot of rules or a set plot. I like improv, and I feel as though I get more out of that than a set plot. If you are a seasoned role-player then I shouldn't have to explain what the general rules are. Not using information that your character isn't privy to is one of my pet peeves, controlling another persons character, things of that nature I frown upon. SO with all that in mind, please hit me up asap, I'm in desperate need..

Thanks,

Casey
quite alright.. no rush. I still have to make a few characters as well, antagonists too. I still need to post for captain slade as well. n I work a 56 hour week 7 days since memorial day so I know how you feel.

~Delilah Rose~

Delilah had been waiting in line for hours. The medic station was always a nuisance, and the lines were unbearable. Not to mention the posibility of catching god knows what from god knows who. Medications were hard to come by in Port City, especially if you were poor, and Delilah was exactly that. She had taken off from work a few hours early, a terrible inconveniance it was to have to close the shop. Never gonna make any money like this, she thought, but thats the way things went for her all too often. Her brother, Frankie, had taken on a high fever three days ago. Frankie was always getting sick. His immune systems was less than par, and on top of that he could hardly leave the house due to his asthma. Having asthma in Port City is almost a death warrant. The soot and smoke from all the coal was simply too much to bear. In fact she couldnt remember the last time Frankie had been oiutside. "has it really been that long?" she muttered to herself, scratching her head with her finger, as if doing so would open up some sort of filing cabinet in her brain.
The people in line behind her were becoming aggitated. Come to think of it, so were the people in front of her, and she was too. She could hear the old, bent up woman at the counter giving the imperial a what for.. Man was that lady onary. The imperials rationed meds here in the city to the extreme, especially in the Shanty, and lots of people went without it. Going without was not an option for Delilah though.. All she could think about was her poor Frankie, sweat all beaded up on his pale little forehead. Nothing ever seemed to favor Delilah, or anyone in her family for that matter.. Her parents were both black bagged, and later exectued during "the Great War", and her grandfather was left without a leg from the same tragedy, and poor Frankie, he never had the chance to enjoy being a child. The whole situation of the lot of them infuriated her, and the imperials didnt give a damn about any one of them, or anyone else for that matter. Not to mention all the taxes, and all the regulations they kept shifting around on everyone. She was startled from her thoughts as the old woman clamored out..

"what do you mean it isnt enough money?" shaking her bent cane. "It was sure as hell enough money last month"

The imperial guardsman rose from his seat at the counter. "Look lady, quit making a scene.. you dont want things to get any worse for you.. It aint enough money" He scowled at the woman and lifted his arm, pointing for the lady to move along. "NEXT!" he shouted abrasively, not taking his eyes off the woman as she grabbed her bags and stammored away.

Delilah stepped up to the counter, watching as the woman made her way down the streets, before returning to the business at hand. What a shame she thought. She wished she could help the woman, but she could barely afford what she needed as it was.

"Yes?" The man said in inquiry.
"I need some antibiotics for my brother. He has a fever of a hundred and three. All I have is Forty bits."

The man scratched his head, as he looked her over. Delilah was a very attractive young woman, and it got her a lot of unwanted attention. Sometimes though, it worked out for her benefit. He was smitten and she could tell, though it disgusted her a bit. Man like that, looking her over, made her want to hurl.

"Price is Fifty five." He said, stringing a crooked smirk from his pursed lips.
"All I have is Forty." she said. This wasn't going the way she wanted it to.

The man looked her over once more, cocking his head to side like. He turned and went to the back of the small boxed shack for a moment and returned, placing half a bottle on the counter.

"Forty bits for that?" Delilah said sharply.
"Hey, take it or leave it.. Im not the one who needs it." He said sliding the bottle across the counter.
Delilah grabbed the bottle and handed the man her forty bits. He grabbed her hand harshly as she did, drawing her in a bit closer, leaning in as he spoke.
"Besides, Im the one who's doing you a favor.. Your lucky I don't take the rest out of that pretty little ass of yours." He said in a low voice, audible only to the two of them.

Delilah jerked away from him and stormed off. Completely intolerable, these imperials, she thought to herself, cringing at the idea of it. If the circumstances were different and he hadn't been an imperial, she would've pushed his eyeball through the back of his skull with her .45.

"See you next time!" He said, laughing as she stomped off. "Next!"

Delilah made her way back down the muddy, soot covered streets, to her family's shanty, just down the alley from Grenley Street. People standing around fire barrels, trying to keep their hands warm littered the streets and back alleys. The streets were always crowded in the Shanty, and danger was always afoot. It was a good thirty minute walk from the medic station on the outskirts to her place. She made it though, openeing the door to their cozy little two room shack. It wasn't much, but it was warm. It was home. Her grandfather Gerard was stoking a small fire in the hearth when she came in. Frankie was still on the sofa, nothing but his head poking out from a pile of quilts and blankets, and his hair was drenched with sweat from his fever. She went over to her grandfather and kissed him on his forehead.

"Glad to see you back home." He said with a genuinely warm smile. She and Frankie was all that he had left in the world, his only joy."How'd you make out?"
"Fifteen pills.. FIFTEEN!... I can't believe I waited in line for three hours for FIFTEEN PILLS!!" She was furious. not to mention that the imperial pig at the medic station was all eye groping me.. gross." she said in disgust.
"I've told you a thousand times, its how you dress Delilah, with yer' flesh all hanging out everywhere.. Why every croney in the Shanty be eyepickn' those things.. For god's sake, you ought to dress more like a lady sometimes." Gerard said, half serious, and half in jest. "Why if your father were to see..."
"Don't." Dellilah said. She hated when he brought up her parents, and how they act if they saw her dressed like that.. She had heard it a thousand times.

Frankie coughed and rolled a little onto his side. The wet rag on his forehead landed on the floor with a FWOP. Delilah sat herself down at the table in the kitchen and Gerard got up from his stoop by the fire with a bit of difficulty and made his way to join her. He sat down and placed a hand over Delilah's. He could tell she was stressing hard about the way things were.

She dropped her eyes to the table, and then to Gerard. "I've got to find a way to make some extra money soon. This medicine is'nt going to be enough for Frankie."
"Now don't go gettn' all crazy actn' on me. I know how you get. Things'l work theirselves out out. Don't go around frettn' and gettn' yerself into any trouble.. You know how I worry about you."

She was desperate, and when she was desperate things got dicey. She didn't want to worry her grandfather but something had to be done. She had made up her mind and that was that. Tomorrow she would go and see Captain Slade down at the docks. Maybe he could help them out with a little cash, or maybe he had some extra work she could do. She just smiled at her grandfather, not saying a word about her plans.

"I know grandpa, everything is going to be fine. Don't worry about me.."

Everything was going to be fine, just fine, she thought to herself. What a mess....
I am interested. sort of.. How about her?

Name:.............Margaret Gunn
Aliases:...........Mag, Maggie, The Raven
Age:................33
Ethnicity:.........Caucasian (Scotland)
Demeanor:......Bravo, bon vivant, wild card
Disposition:.....Cold, stand offish, cynic, unpleasant

Class:..............Soldier of fortune, berserker, war criminal
Occupation:.....Mercenary

Training:

artillery and munitions handling,
hand to hand and close quarter combat,
marksmanship skills training,
flight training (helo)
espionage,
interrogation,
advanced tactics training.

Background:

Margaret Gunn is a result of a girl, orphaned at an early age. No one in the world to care for her, nor did she care for another. She was raised in numerous orphanages and group homes throughout her entire childhood. One of these in particular had quite an extensive file on Margaret.. The sisters at Saving Grace home for girls described her as "a hard case, with little hope of ever gaining any normality in life" and as "a loner". Her behavior during her early years was antisocial and stand offish, and was entirely pragmatic. Shortly after she became violent and malicious towards others, staff and ward alike. She caused great mental and emotional strain, as well as bodily harm to the other girls and several of the sisters that kept her ward. It was apparent to them that she was a bad seed, and there was nothing that was going to change that. She became highly manipulative and intimidated everyone. Sister Agnes Mary was quoted as saying that "her very presence in the room could send shivers down your neck" and also that "it would be in your best interests to avoid making eye contact"

Psychological Evaluation:

Emotionally Detached, Margaret has been found as being cold and unpredictable. She shows signs of delusion, and also suffers from Manic Bipolar disorder with extreme mood differentiation. She is highly manipulative, and is considered to be very intelligent, thus making her a threat to others in her acquaintance. She has no concept of remorse for her actions, nor shows any signs of sympathy in regards to the well being of others.

It wasn't long before the sisters had made the decision that her behavior could not, and would not be tolerated any longer. Just shy of turning sixteen, the sisters turned her over to the military. A recruiter named Sgt. D. C. Beckett came to Saving Grace home for girls and her care was left in his hands. It wasn't long before she landed a position in a general infantry platoon, where she seemed to excel. It was even noted that she was a model grunt. She breezed through training and she gained rank in great stride. Her behavior on base was not exactly of merit, and she was cited numerous infractions. These infractions were looked over by her performance in the field, and she soon went on to more pertinent training such as advanced tactics training, as well as interrogation training and the art of espionage.
As her training continued she began to flourish into a regular war machine. She was an exceptional soldier, elite in all aspects, though her methods were sometimes questionable and were described as being extreme.
She has also been known to suffer from a condition known to soldiers a being blood drunk, a state of rage where she fades in and out of consciousness and mutters to herself incoherently during battle. She also is know to pray to, and believes in the mythological Valkyrie, and to see her in action, one might wonder whether or not she is right. Some say she is a clairvoyant, and can see moments into the near future, but that is only speculation which she thoroughly denies. Aside from her "issues", she is a top notch soldier, and elite in all aspects of combat. She worked best alone, or in small squads, and wasn't known to be incapable of completing any task given. She was perhaps most affective in the field of interrogation. Again, her methods were not exactly common, but were highly effective.

Very interested. I am also having a hard time finding advanced level writers, and most of the people I run into aren't very active. I am more of an artist myself. I do a lot of work with graphite and ink, some watercolor, and also I do a good deal of work with photoshop, and I also like to add a lot of visuals (I try to use my own original work as often as possible). I love to write and create characters and settings, and I prefer darker, and more mature type themes as well. I usually check this site daily, and the lack of activity I am getting is tiresome.
I am very creative, and I only do advanced, descriptive style rps. I would love to collaborate with you some time.

~Captain John Slade~

Origin: Port City
Sex: Male
Age: 43
Ethnicity: Caucasian

Class:[ Resistance Fighter
Occupation: Airship Captain, Merchant
Demeanor: Leader, Rebel, Survivor
Disposition: Strong Willed, Determined, Driven

The Pegasus

Description:

Captain Slade is a tough man. Having survived "the Great War" was not by accident. He is a hard working captain of a merchant ship he has christened as "the Pegasus". He delivers goods to, and from Port city. You name it, he ships it. He is a native to the city and usually can be found toiling away in the docks when he is around. He lives on his ship and keeps a small crew under his command. He demands a lot from them, but he pays well. A father figure to most, probably because of his age, and also from all the good advice he gives to everyone. He has a lot of common sense, and he is a legend with logistics. A simple man, he doesn't have a lot, but what he does have is sentimental and precious to him.
When the war came to Port City, he became involved in the resistance. How he managed to scrape through it without being black bagged is a mystery to everyone. A lot of his friends didn't make it, and he doesn't talk much about it. A man by the name of Ben Rose was perhaps his worst loss. A dear friend indeed. They had grown up together in the city and were more like brothers. He tries to look after Ben's father, and daughter Delilah as best as he can, but Delilah is a bit of a handful and doesn't come around as much as he'd like.

Rumor is that Slade is in with the Crimson Fists. Some say he is their leader, but he denies both claims and silences any further inquiries promptly, either by word or fists. No one knows for sure, but one thing is for certain, it's best to stay on his good side. Slade doesn't tolerate much lip, from his crew or from any one for that matter. He seldom leaves the docks, but when he does he is usually around the Shanty, or around the merchant districts, usually drinking it up with the boys. He loves telling epic stories about the old days when he drinks.

Skillset:

Slade can man most any vessel, be it air or sea. It is all he has ever done. He is good with a blade, and isn't a very bad shot either. He is very strong for an average size man due to all the lifting he does around the docks. He is very good with logistics and great at figuring things out from a tactical angle on the mechanics of certain situations. He also knows a good bit about artillery and ordinance. During the war he was on an artillery squad up on the walls and manned one of "the big guns" as he fondly refers to them.

Equipment:

Slade carries an ornate sabre that was given to him by his father from the old Governor of Port City for his many years of service to the city. He also carries a number of flint lock pistols... says he loves all the smoke and powder burns. Says the new guns don't have that certain flare that the old ones do. not enough drama.
bump.
thanks Gat.. That's my bad..
