The Latina ex wouldn't have the genetic coding to be able to survive the temperatures of northern Michigan, and thus would freeze before her plan could be carried out. Thus, Az could not possibly have been kidnapped and taken into Northern Michigan by a Latina ex. Unless you retract said statement and replace the idea with a warmer climate is implausible.

However, it is possible that Az's racism offended a black rights activist of northern Michigan, and -she- kidnapped and killed him, post taking over his identity.
