Name: Deanna Wilder

Appearance: Tan/olive toned skin, with green/hazel eyes and curly, dark brown hair that fell to her elbows. She always has manicured nails and at least eyeliner on. Her style is an eclectic mix of pop punk and indie, pairing ripped skinny jeans with cropped tanks and kimonos.
Personality: She is one to love the sound of laughter around her, and a good book in her hands. She focused a decent amount of time in high school to her grades, wanting to go to her dream school of UMASS- Dartmouth for business. She is cautious around new individuals, but once she lets them in they find nothing short of a caring individual who would give them her jacket in the rain just so they wouldn't catch a cold or ruin their outfit. She has her snarky, sassy moments that give people, herself included a good laugh but she is sure to let people know that she is joking if she suspects they had their feelings hurt.

Wiilow Rhines

Name: Willow Rhines

Age: 22

Height: 5'5"

Magical Race: Half Elf, half human

Appearance: Hip length ash brown hair with some natural auburn highlights. Her eyes are hazel, grey flecks near the iris and brown near the outer edge. Her ears have a smaller, less pronounced point to them eluding to her human half.

Personality: Willow is a decent mix of shy and reserved, with a splash of a joking extrovert. She may come off as a little prickly when one first meets her, but she is just nervous when meeting new faces. Once you get to know her, she is a jokester, the "mom friend" in the group, and one to explain her feelings with some rambling before finally getting to the point.

Fun Facts: Willow is skilled in pottery making, selling wares in her parents' pottery shop located in the center of the village. She is typically accompanied by her younger sister, Amethyst.

Amethyst Rhines

Name: Amethyst Rhines

Age: 19

Height: 5'6"

Magical Race: Half Elf, half human

Appearance: Amethyst has similar eyes to her older sister, Willow, but lighter hair- closer to dirty blonde than ash brown. She keeps hers long, but only down to her mid back instead of her hips- and it has a bit more curl to it. She always thought she looked more like her father than her mother and most tend to say the opposite. Her face is littered with freckles, and a similar ear shape to her sister.

Personality: Amethyst is pure extrovert, with a tiniest splash of introvert. Vert different from Willow. She loves to converse with customers and other merchants when spending the day in the village center. She is not as skilled as Willow on the pottery wheel but she is decent with math, making her the one to handle transactions if her mother or brother is called away.

Fun Facts: Amethyst has taken more of a linking to being studious with a splash of creativity. She prefers to read on her shifts at the store and writes in her spare time at home. Since they are involved in the family business, her father made sure that they could both read and write, though considered uncommon for girls in their position.

Elinor Rhines

Name: Elinor Rhines

Age: 42

Height: 5'1"

Magical Race: Elf

Appearance: Being that she is full elf, Elinor is shorter than her children, with golden eyes and waist length dirty blonde hair to match. She does not bare the freckles that are displayed on her children, those are from her late husband.

Personality: Elinor is a strong woman, something evident in her children. She pushed her husband to give them a decent education so they could help out in the store confidently and she does not regret making sure her girls knew to read and write well. She allows Corrin to be the face of the pottery shop, but she runs everything behind the scenes with a sharp tongue and trusted advice.

Fun Facts: She was the second of her four siblings to marry a human and break the family norm. She is also talented with a violin, and pottery.

Corrin Rhines

Name: Corrin Rhines

Age: 25

Height: 5'6"

Magical Race: Half Elf, half human

Appearance: Corrin is the only one of the three that gained his mothers' golden eyes, something that he is a bit proud of. He stands at the same height as Amethyst, embracing his half elf self now that he was older and busy running the store to provide for the family. He shares the ash brown shade of hair with Willow, and the freckles with Amethyst.

Personality: Corrin is serious outside of his family home. Outside of the comforting walls, he is the provider, the one that took over after the death of his father a few years prior. He had to learn all that he could about the family business from Willow and their mother so he could be the new face, and deal with suppliers in on travels. When home, with his family he is a jokester as well, providing a deep, hearty laughter that is sure to shake the table at dinner.

Fun Facts: He is a skilled archer and horseback rider, unfortunately giving that up to assist the family.

Catherine Kinks

Name: Catherine Genevieve Kinks
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Height: 5’8”
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Appearance: Cat has hazel eyes with flecks of green that contrast her medium skin tone thanks to her father. And straight medium brown hair thanks to her mother that displays natural highlights of auburn and honey during the summer months. Her skin is littered with freckles here and there, while her mouth displays a subtle gap tooth when she smiles- she considers that her best feature and refuses to get it fixed.
Backstory: Cat was born and raised just outside of the city, which led to an interesting array of people floating in and out of her life. She just had that gift of making friends easily… But six years ago, she was in a car accident driving to a concert that left her easily fatigued ever since. It also gave her a new outlook on her life that now reveals a spontaneous, loud young woman who didn’t want to miss out on anything anymore.
The old Catherine makes an appearance every so often but she just sees life through new lenses and had made the most of it ever since.

Full Name: Ship Fleet Heiress, Lady Gwyndolyn Elizabeth Collae (Gwen-do-lin Elizabeth Coll-ay)

Description: Gwyn boasts dark curly hair that framed around medium dark skin that hosts bright green eyes. Her body is slender, with some muscle beneath the surface thanks to wanting a hands on approach to learning her family's trade in ship building/maintenance. They happily provide the coast with quality made ships used for both war and leisure. With a pronounced cupids bow on her top lip, she is aware of her looks, and on occasion uses it to her advantage to get what she wants from men around her. The callouses from years past are long gone, and her hands are now soft and manicured, fitting the title that has been bestowed upon her. She does carry a small silver dagger on her calf, a precaution after an attempted kidnapping when she was 20.

Family Crest: The Collae family crest consist of two golden oars, crossed in the center with a whaling spear standing in the middle, surrounded by a circlet of waves. A direct display of where her wealth comes from.

Further Information
With a strong work ethic and strong personality, most men are hesitant to go for Gwyn despite her wealth. As the eldest child, whomever marries her gains the access to a large fleet of military and leisure ships. She is boisterous, bold, speaks her mind and is not afraid to boldly flirt with someone if they display any ounce of interest. The typical mold made for a woman in her town does not apply to Gwyn and she knows it. But she will wear her heart on her sleeve, help someone in need and make sure that the people where she lives are taken care of- especially if the crown cannot spare anything at that time.

Plot/Lore

Plot

Plot: Magical beings roamed the planet, unknown and unseen. Every coven meets beneath a full moon to conduct their monthly rituals, and the city just thinks that it is an exclusive book club by invitation only. But the supernatural world has much, much more than just that.

There are rules to follow, rules that almost everyone obeyed. Factions should not mix, meaning vampires should not marry witches, and werewolves to try to procreate with their own species. Who knew what a vampire, werewolf hybrid could do! But there was more than just that- there were rules for human exposure, and when to display magical abilities around them. That one tended to be bent quite often...

The largest rule of all: never expose yourself to a hunter less you want to be captured or killed. They were ruthless, stubborn, and trained far too well. For an immortal witch coven, they had large targets on their backs that kept them on the move around the city. Meet the Thomason Coven of New Orleans. They are a rare breed of witch for they are immortal- thanks to a great-great-great-great-great grandfather who happened to be a vampire. That fell in love with a witch. And so the rules in the magical realm began to take hold and become widespread, for their offspring are considered some of the most powerful magical beings currently alive. And the fact that they can only be stopped by hunters with specific weapons makes them hard to kill. And harder to track at that.

But they refused to change their last name- it was rare enough that other witches knew who they were, but common enough that it didn't stand out too much to some hunters.

And in New Orleans, everyone was some form of a witch whether they realized it or not, so it was the perfect place to hide for all eternity.

Rosemary Thomason

Name: Rosemary Genevieve Thomason

Nickname(s): Rose, Rosie, Gen, Jennie

Age: Appears 25, lost count of her true age after 1924

Supernatural Race: Immortal Witch

Appearance: Rose stands at approximately 5'7", with long dark brown, almost black hair that fell to her waist. Her eyes are a deep brown with medium/dark skin. She has a scar that rests on her left cheek, down to her chin from a fight with a werewolf as a teenager. Since it was from another magical being, she could not magically remove it and it serves as a reminder that day. She was a dancer throughout her youth and her body reflects that with long legs and a proportionate torso.

Personality: Tending to keep to herself besides a few close friends, Rosie doesn't make herself the center of attention. Especially as a magical being. She smiles often with her close friends, both witches of course. But she is cautious with her heart, never letting herself commit and get into a serious relationship for fear of being found out and hunted. She is a hopeless romantic, but a bit of a realist at the same time for she knows that the world is harsh, not always unicorns and love spells...

History/Backstory:Growing up in a city coven, Rose was told from a young age who she was, what she could do, and how to hide it so hunters wouldn't find her. Her hidden abilities made her into what her classmates called a "freak" in middle and high school- words that follow her now in grad school as she gains to get her Masters in Teaching to be able to pass along her familial knowledge to other witches. Hunters still gathered around the world, and that scared her; knowing that one mistake could cost her family their lineage and she couldn't do that to them. So she hid well, masking as a smart kid who could excel in the creative arts even though she just used magic abilities and muddled them down into something that non magical humans could comprehend. Pottery- transferred into being able to craft quality talismans. Dance- rituals. Writing- spell work. Cooking- potions. Everything had a magical backstory that she was proud of, but sad to hide from the world. Now that she was an adult, on her own and doing something new, she was trying hard to not slip up and reveal herself in fear of being attacked by another magical being or hunter...especially another werewolf.

*No you do not have to play a werewolf, that if just a fear that she happens to have!*
*You also do not HAVE to place a hunter. Like the lore states, one shouldn't mix with another so any other kind of magical being will be frowned upon!*

Farrow Hathaway

Name: Farrow Hathaway (Princess Farrow Elinor Hathaway, Second Daughter to the King)
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: Standing tall for her age, Farrow is at around 5’9” with far more muscles than a princess should have. She has dark brown hair and green eyes to contrast that enjoy taking in a person before deciding if she should be nice or not. Her smile tends to come off as sweet, but it does have a sinister look behind it if she is angered. Her hands are slightly calloused which throws some people off, but she doesn’t mind.
Personality: If one was looking for the traditional type of princess, then they would have to look somewhere else. Farrow loves up to her unique name and then some! She is considered pretty by most, envied by few and feared by a select group of villagers who caught her at the wrong time. Her lungs are always full of laughter and sarcasm while her eyes are inquisitive and mischievous. She stands up to her parents, her guards, and her potential suitors that are thrown her way from time to time.
History/Backstory: Always a bit of a firecracker, the King and Queen has their hands full with their second eldest daughter. They claim that she could run before she could walk and tell someone off before apologizing. The latter was still true… But Farrow grew up knowing who she was, and what she wanted to to. Her father indulged her with sword training, proper horseback riding and an education for for a prince. Apparently not being the eldest daughter had its perks and she reaped them for what they were worth.
But now she was an adult, her parents were getting serious about having her settle down and create alliances, continue the lineage for both their line, and the line of her future husband. Farrow still wanted fun, she still wanted adventure and she was going to make sure she had a few notches in her corset before settling down with someone hopefully- not boring.
