Hum

Whilst the orbs materialized in his very hands within the void, Hum could not help but hear the call of his brother Duhyxbin. The call brought yet another grin to his face, "Well, well. This can be nothing but entertaining." In a flash, the shadowy God seemed to swirl into a central point and then reappear moments later in Edenia, shadows swirling outwards from a single point hovering in the air.

As the orbs continued to solidify, Hum chuckled and greeted his siblings, "Good morning to all of you."

I hadn't considered that. I suppose Amelia could take on a more adult form, though Hum is also depicted as basically sentient shadows. I also wonder who controls the child. 50/50 coin flip?

I like the Domains of Light, Dark, Ocean, perhaps Wind/Air, Sun/Heat, Moon. Perhaps a Domain specifically of Jesters/Trickery/Luck. I was considering making Hum a Dark Jester originally. But hey, whatever is most fun.

I'm going to assume even a taken Domain can be challenged. But I figured this was a spicy meme. A spicier one might have been to challenge for War, but that may have been in bad faith.

Hum

While the Old Gods had existed, Hum had remained quiet, meditative, considering the actions of those around him and trying to decide exactly what it was that he wanted. He watched as sisters and brothers cornered the land or crafted it, and felt no impulse to follow them. But it was as the feisty Amelia made her move for both the Domains of War and Wisdom that Hum realized he could do something unusual in his opinion. While Amelia sought to synergize the realms of War and Wisdom, Hum thought one of the funniest things in the world would be to take two opposing Domains. As his contemplative brother Duhyxbin no doubt attempted to take Wisdom, Hum threw out his arms of darkness to the world and sent forth his energies.

In one hand, there began to grow an orb of light, and in the other, an orb of darkness. Hum was attempting to become the dual God of Life and Death, handler of all souls. He smiled as he contemplated the idea, wondering if his siblings would stand for such a thing.
