So.

Did you never ever actually watch or play or read Fate?

In the small group that @Card Captor and I have made in the roleplay.

Okay then.

Excellent, as of what I find hilarious is that there are only teenagers in the group currently XP

Teenagers? Uhh...only teenagers?
Earth and Aurora are literally in two different dimensions. They will not interact. Thus, it's impossible for Earth, at least the 'modern 21st century Earth' that everyone seems to be implying in their CSes, to copy or assimilate technology that seems to be created by a God.
@Gnar The Missing Link
I can set Lightburst up as a learned skill, sure. And I'll PM you Radiant Eclipse.
Alternatively, intentional.

"Gotta keep my heart beating, after all."
Name: Darius Jacks
Sex: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Darius stands at 6’2, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a freckled face. His hands are callused and his body is well-built, especially his arms. He has never lost a competition of strength within his age group before.
Ethnicity: American-Canadian
Personality: Darius is hard-working but not driven. He’s focused, but he’s not ambitious. He’s smart, but he’s not studious. He has all the qualities of a good employee and student, but he doesn’t have the drive that his peers, even the inferior ones, have. He has no idea what he’s doing half the time, and spends the other half with his head in the clouds. He’s neither a picky eater nor a glutton, and his sheer ambivalence with everything highlights the fact that Darius has no likes or dislikes. He’s a product of a world where everything can be accessed with a Google search, where every necessity of life can be gotten with a phone.

He’s just someone who wants to kill time.

At least, that’s what he thought he was.

Background/History: Darius lived in America, in a middle-class family. His father was in construction, and his mother was a nurse working evening shifts. He was left alone for most of his life, with his parents encouraging him to find his own passions and pursue them. But Darius was pretentious back then, and thought that there was nothing worth his while. His life before elementary school consisted of watching TV documentaries and YT videos.

In Armstrong Elementary School, Darius realized that he was, indeed, a rather kingly figure. He was taller than most of the boys in class, and excelled both in academics and physical education…and promptly thought of those things as pointless as well. Daydreaming through most of his classes, he still managed to pass his classes with flying colors, whilst gaining the admiration of his peers as some sort of genius athlete. He wasn’t. He was just taller and stronger than the rest of them. And god, he was bored as fuck.

It was in Ravenwood High School that Darius got his first taste of something that killed his boredom: Kir Niwa. A dude who looked more like a lady, Kir was a badass fencing champion, and after a rough start in which the two of them got into an ‘accident’ during physical education, they became some sort of friend. The first two years of high school was fun because of that, and for once, Darius thought that he was having fun.

Then he had to move to Canada because his father got a new job as the manager for a logging company, and the dream was dead.

From then on, Darius continued his decadent life, going to a school full of boring individuals and doing part-time at his father’s lumber company, cutting down trees for money. Pure suffering, really.

Goal/Desires: An entertaining challenge that would ignite the passions within him.

Powers:
Radiant Eclipse – Who knows what that is? I honestly can’t even begin to guess.

Lightburst - What does this even mean? Google doesn't give me anything useful.

Photosynthesis – Darius gains power from light, regardless of how weak or feeble it is. Obviously, he gets more energy from direct sunlight than firelight, but his absorption abilities are potent enough that he can even gather energy from moonlight. His physical abilities are increased in accordance to the amount of light energy he has stored, and are expended whenever he performs a superhuman feat. He can also substitute food and water for light energy, meaning that, no, Darius doesn’t really actually have to eat, sleep, or shit.

Equipment/Inventory: When Darius was transported to Aurora, he was at home, watching TV. Essentially, he came to the world with nothing by his clothes. Not even shoes. Which sorta sucks, but it’s not that bad.

But hey, hard mode is fun.
@KoL
Personally, I believe that setting up post rounds is the best way of controlling the flow of time within RPs, with collabs used either for back and forth conversations between two individuals, or for battles. Collabs shouldn’t be used for a ton of movement/action, unless it’s a GM-sanctioned thing. If you make collabs out of everything (coughZombscoughSkyscoughClick), that’d really distort the sense of time and location for people who are nearby, but aren’t associated with the collab.

It’d also prevent awkward situations in which over-eager RPers post again while you’re working on your GM post/collab, and thus negating a whole section of your post (such as when the SSS-rank mission was discussed, when the two people who took it already left the shop and the area).

If you know when you won’t be able to post for long periods of time, why not just detail what’s going to happen in the IC to your co-GMs, scripting out your character’s actions (one liners are easier than paragraphs~) and then having them do it?

It’s just feels really messy right now, with a whole bunch of people doing whatever, while others are sorta tossed to the curb and having no idea who to interact with or what to do.
Well, yeah, collabs aren't a very inclusive medium for RPing. XD
If every post is supposed to cover an hour, then doesn’t that mean that every post is basically a collab or a solo fluff post?

If that idea goes through, I suggest that we work based off post rounds as well, or all the active players will be in the future, whilst all the slower players will be in the past.
