I'm sure that if Drael fawns on Sorcha enough, she'd eventually let him in. If you think about it, Arata's being a wingman without even consciously doing it. Compared to Arata's 'fuck you, bat-girl' attitude, having someone like Drael lick the bottom of her feet must feel divine.

Yeah, personally, if this is what his in-character attitude leads up to, might as well react accordingly. I mean, it's the hallmark of good RPing if people stick to their character's personality even if it ends up in dismemberment.
