"Sounds good to me, so where are these friends of yours, I'd like to meet them."
"Oh, cool, I'm headed for Viridian City for my final badge, which is right on the way to the falls." Chuck said, relaxing in a chair.
"And where is that?" Chuck asked, recalling his Pokémon as well.
"Umm, thanks for that." he said, with a chuckle, shaking it off. "So, are those the Mega Stones I've heard so much about?" he asked, looking at some of the ones Liam's Pokémon had.
"Oh, cool." he said. "I was considering giving contests a try, but decided for now just to focus on the Gyms." Just then, he was called to pick up his Pokémon. He went up, grabbed his balls, and came back. "I should introduce everyone to you. Come on out!" he said, tossing the balls in the air. "We of course, have Zenni." he said, patting his Blastoise on the back. "Though you last saw him as a Wartortle. Next up is Titan" he pat the Golem on the back. "Then there's Nissa." he said, rubbing under the Clefable's chin. "And Azriel." he gestured toward the Alakazam. "Tri." he pet the three heads of the Dodrio. "And finaly Tesla." he said, gently petting the head of the Jolteon, as to not stab himself. "Everyone, these are Liam and Shiranui, the friends I told you all about." The Pokémon all greeted the two of them.
"Been doing alright. Sorry I left without a trace, or even a goodbye, but I had gotten word that my father had been injured, so I had to return home. Turns out Team Flare attacked the Daycare, trying to nab the Pokémon there, and my father wouldn't let them. I helped fend them off, until you guys put an end to them, then I stayed behind to help take care of the Daycare while my father healed, and stayed even longer after he healed. But recently, I got the urge to travel again, and restart my journey. So I took Zeni and a couple others with me and continued my Gym Challenge. I just beat Blaine and came by to heal up, I'm surprised to see the two of you here, figured you'd be in another region."
Just then, an old, familiar face appeared entering the Pokémon Center. It was their old friend, Chuck North, having just finished his battle at the Gym, claiming his 7th badge. He noticed the two of them and said "Well, if it isn't Liam and Shiranui. Long time no see!" He walked up to the counter and deposited his Pokémon for healing.
