Chuck applauded the appeals and then was surprised by a tap on the shoulder. He turned around to find his parents standing in the seats behind him. "Mom! Dad! What are you doing here!?" he asked, surprised. "Well, we heard our boy would be entering the Pokémon League tournament, so we decided to stop by and cheer you on." his mother said. "But your mother also wanted to see the Grand Festival, so we got here early!" his father added, with a chuckle. Ever since the battle with Team Flare at the daycare, his father had been needing a cane to help him walk, his right leg having been damaged badly.
Chuck registered for the tournament and spend his time training all his Pokémon, but focusing on helping Zenni get used to fighting in Mega form.
"Alright, so when we heading out?" he asked.
"I would be insulted if you did." he said, giving him a thumb's up.
"Well, I think me and my Pokémon are ready for the challenge." he said.
"I was speaking more towards the Pokémon League tournament, since I'm not qualified for the Grand Festival." Chuck said.
"That'd be great!" Chuck said. "I'm eager to enter the tournament!"
Chuck congratulated his friends for a job well done.
"Thank you very much!" Chuck said. "I just recently started training Zenni with Mega Evolution as well."
