Understandable. The costume is based off the Pokémon, namely the Mega Evolution, and the powers, and names, are based off of the abilities of the Pokémon, but the personality and how I utilize it are my own. He is still human, just a meta-human.
"Go ahead!" Lucas said, smiling at the newcomer. "I had just asked the others what house they thought they'd be put in."
If it's that much of a problem, I'll remove the additional characters and just stick to the one.
"So, what house do you think you'll be sorted into?" Lucas asked, wanting to start a conversation with his new friends.
Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I, for one, love Pokémon and have ever since I was a kid with the original Red and Blue back in the late 90's.
Any particular reason why? I won't delete them for now, but just not use them and keep them on the backburner just in case we need villains later, I'm just curious as to why you think so.

Power: Aura Manipulation: Can manipulate his energy and wield it in battle.
Skills:
Aura Sphere: Channels his Aura into a ball of energy that he can then launch out at enemies. The longer he charges, the more powerful the attack.
Force Palm: Channels his Aura into his hand, to release as a forceful knockback, only works when making physical contact.
Iron Defense: Channels his Aura in front of himself, creating a shield that block most attacks, though if the shield sustains too much damage, it will shatter, leaving him vulnerable.
Bone Rush: Channels his Aura into a bone staff, with which he can strike enemies with.
Aura detection: Can use his Aura to detect and locate the energy of others nearby, even able to sense them if he is blinded.
He is also skilled in hand to hand combat, so he may conserve his energy.
Weaknesses/Limits: His power is limited by his stamina, and the amount of energy he has, as he uses his power more, and trains his body more, his stamina and energy can increase, allowing him to use his power more and longer. If he depletes his energy he will be unable to use his power, and may pass out.

History: Lucas grew up watching the Justice League and the Teen Titans defending the city time and time again, and was even saved once by Robin, who is now known as Nightwing. Shortly after, he discovered his power to manipulate his own energy and utilize his Aura. Ever since then, he trained day and night to strengthen his body so he could utilize his Aura, as well as train in martial arts. Eventually, he also began working on, and developing his skills and attacks, giving them names, as he thought it was fun. He sees Nightwing as his mentor, because of his skill in martial arts and the staff, with his Bone Rush being him mimicking that aspect. Lucas was beyond excited when he was accepted into the new Teen Titans.
Personality: Can usually be a little silly, though serious when he needs to be. He came up with his attack names himself, and will shout them as he attacks.
Other: If you couldn't tell, he is based very heavily off of the Pokémon Lucario.
