I think it's pretty interesting, adds depth to the character. And the Rotomdex could be more of an assistance to her as well, acting as her eyes.
What about the new UB's, like Poipole?
Name: Charles North Jr. (Goes by Chuck)
Age: 15
Hometown: Lumiose City (Kalos)
Appearance (pic preferred):
Starter: Popplio
Bio: Chuck lived with his parents at their Day Care, helping them take care of various different Pokémon owned by trainers from all over the world. This helped him become knowledgeable about Pokémon, which made it easier for him to get his trainer's license. He decided to go to Kanto, since he used to hang around the Professor's lab and got along with the Kanto Starters he kept there. His goal is to capture and train many different Pokémon, and make lots of friends. However, during his original journey, he got a call from his mother that his father was terribly injured trying to defend the daycare from some evil team known as Team Flare, so he had to return home and help out at the daycare while his father recovered, and helped defend it with Zeni and his other Pokemon, evolving into a Blastoise in the process. Even after his father fully recovered, Chuck decided to stay behind and continue to help with the daycare, and take care of the Pokémon he caught in his journey, until one day he decided to give it another try, and go back to Kanto. He took Zeni and a few of his other Pokémon with him, and kept going from where he left off, ending up at Cinnibar Island, finishing the battle as his old friends finished their contest. He then travelled with his friends, finishing his journey and claiming the final badge and entering the Pokémon League, where he made it to the end, but lost in the final battle against Shiranui. Now, a year later, he has arrived in Alola to take on the Island Challenge.

Requested Legend(s): Cosmog, Kartana, Celesteela, Tapu Bulu, Marshadow, Poipole, Zeraora
"Thanks." Chuck said, heading off to the Elite 4. After a while, and a series of intense battles, Chuck emerged victorious against all four, securing a battle against Shiranui for the Champion title. He healed his team and prepared for his final battle in Kanto.
So, my thoughts are that, for time, we skip the E4 and go straight to the champion battle between Chuck and Shiranui. As for Alola, we can have them finalizing the league as we arrive.
Well, after that intense battle, I think my team and I are ready for anything.
"Yeah, it was intense. You fought well." he said.
Chuck fell back exhausted after the intense battle, recalling Zeni. After a bit, he got up and went to heal his team.
"Rain Dance into Water Pulse!" Chuck said. Blastoise made it rain once more and fired off a powered up Water Pulse.
"Dragon Pulse!" Chuck called out.
