Chuck again noticed the ball shake and whispered to Mike "You still need to tell us about that."

"Sounds good to me!" Chuck said, recalling Zenni.

Zenni turned to Hydro and smirked at him, giving him a fist bump.

Chuck chuckled and said "I guess he likes you. This is Zenni, my Blastoise, and the first Pokémon I ever got back when I originally started my Kanto journey with these guys years ago. Sadly, things came up with my family and I had to postpone and help take care of the Daycare back in Lumiose City. But, I ended up finishing, meeting up with these guys again, and almost becoming champion, thanks to this guy and the rest of my team."

While his team was healing, Chuck briefly considered bringing Zenni in for the Grand Trial, and ultimately thought it would be best, but keep him on the back burner, in case Ariel and Captain failed. He would be his ace in the hole, along with his Mega Evolution.

Once his team had been healed, he swapped out Kite and Zenni, letting out the Blastoise to see him again. "Blaaaast!" Zenni called, happy to see Chuck again, giving him a big hug. "Good to see you too Zenni." Chuck said, smiling and hugging his very first Pokémon back. Zenni turned to Mike, Liam, and Shiranui and waived to them, glad to see them again as well. However, he cocked his head when he saw Jen, as she was a new face to him. He got close to her and bowed his head, letting her pet him if she wished.

"If I recall correctly, Kahuna Olivia specializes in Rock Types, and hands out the Rocknium Z." Chuck said.

Chuck thanked the Lurantis, and Liam, and took the Grassnium Z from Lurantis. Then he heard Mike ask Jen if she was okay and he paled, turning to her. "I am so sorry!" he said, getting on his hands and knees before her. "I had completely forgotten in the heat of battle!" Megumin was also on her hands and knees saying "Turt!"

"Sorry Mike, hope you guys are okay. Megumin just got a little overexcited." Chuck said as the Lurantis used a Sunny Day/Solar Blade combo on the Turtonator. However, Chuck and Megumin were prepared for this. "Megumin, Shell Trap!" Chuck called. The Turtonator turned around and blocked the Solar Blade with her shell, which then exploded, knocking the Lurantis back a bit. It recovered and went for a Solar Beam. Chuck activated his Z-Ring and performed the Fire dance. "Megumin, Overheat Inferno Overdrive!" Megumin turned her snout toward the Lurantis and it's Solar Beam and fired off a massive ball of fire. The two attacks collided and pushed against eachother. However, the Inferno Overdrive overpowered the Solar Beam and engulfed the Lurantis. When the flames dissipated, Lurantis was on the ground, knocked out.

Before Liam could finish what he was saying, Megumin charged in, unleashing a Flamethrower, eager to prove herself.
