Chuck gave a small bow and cracked his knuckles. "Don't mind if I do." he said, walking up to Hapu for his Grand Trial. First up was her Golurk, to which Chuck responded with Captain, his Dhelmise. Golurk was able to get off a Shadow Punch on Captain, dealing a great deal of damage before he could act. "Captain, retaliate with Power Whip!" The Dhelmise launched it's seaweed at Golurk, whacking it hard with them and causing it to faint. Hapu returned Golurk and sent out Gastrodon next. This time, Captain was able to outspeed the Gastrodon and fired off another Power Whip, dealing massive damage and knocking it into a nearby rock, KOing it. Hapu returned it and sent out Flygon. Flygon fired off a Dragon Breath, knocking the Dhelmise back, but it was able to get back up. Captain unleashed another Power Whip, dealing decent damage to the Flygon, who fired off another Dragon Breath, knocking out Captain.
Chuck recalled him and sent out Megumin next. Flygon unleashed another Dragon Breath, dealing a good deal of damage to the Turtonator and pushing her back a bit. She fired off a Dragon Pulse in return, knocking out the Flygon. Hapu recalled it and sent out her final Pokémon, her Mudsdale. Chuck recalled Megumin and sent out Ariel, his Primarina. Chuck immediately activated his Z-Ring, unleashing Ariel's Oceanic Operetta on the Mudsdale, knocking it out in a single massive hit. Chuck thanked his Pokémon for their hard work as Hapu handed him the Groundium Z. She healed her and Chuck's Pokémon and got ready for the next battle.

"I'll go first if you don't want to Liam." Chuck said.
"Th-thanks." Chuck said, struggling and hoping none of his bones cracked.
"Heck yeah, let's go!" Chuck said.
"I too have a Mudsdale, and I used to work with a Golurk back at the daycare." Chuck said.
"Good morning everyone." Chuck said, yawning as he walked down to the others.
Chuck healed his party and went to bed.
"Sounds like a plan." Chuck said, already heading for the Pokémon Center.
Chuck was up next and sent out Ariel, his Primarina, whom he had swapped her signature Z-Crystal, for the Fairium Z he recently received. As soon as the battle started, it was over. Chuck activated the Z-Ring and unleashed a Moonblast-powered Twinkle Tackle, knocking out the Kommo-o in a single massive hit. Chuck gave the Totem a Full Restore and received his Dragonium Z and stepped down to let Jen take the Totem on.
