"Yeah?" he asked. He noticed they were pretty close now, but didn't realize that his Pokémon had finished healing, and were already out of their balls. Zeni had taken an interest in what was going on between them, and looked on.
He blushed slightly, smiling at her.
"Well, we are right now, so that's a plus." he said, smiling and sitting next to her.
"Well, before I became a trainer, I would hang around with the Pokémon at the daycare and play with them. Now, I think it'll be hanging out with my own Pokémon, and hopefully you as well." he said.
"Now we just relax and wait for our Pokémon to be healed. We can talk and get to know eachother better." he said, smiling at her.
He lead the way out of the forest and into Pewter City, where they rested at the Pokémon Center and healed their Pokémon.
"We should head back to town and heal our Pokémon, they've fought long and hard and deserve a rest." he said.
"Yeah, I can." he said. "And I hope you can come with me too!"
"I normally just help my parents take care of Pokémon at their daycare. Though I do like to go to the Prism Tower and check out the trainers who challenge Clemont." he said. "There is a lot to do, but most of it requires having a Pokémon, so there wasn't much for me to do."
"That's true." he said.
