Ashlynn sighed, putting her drink on the table. "I was going to ask you if you knew anything, too. There goes that idea."
Ashlynn smiled a little bit at the comment about 'good behavior'.

She crossed her legs and leaned forward. "Too quiet", said with a change of tone in her voice. "When something like the warehouse incident happens, I have a feeling that it's not going to be like that for too long."
Ashlynn gave him the finger with her free hand. "It's cold okay?", she said, justifying her outfit. "I like the drinks here. The jazz is a plus."

She sipped her drink. "So how you been? Busy with Balthazar, I assume?"
The past four weeks brought on a harsh winter. While November is considered more winter than fall, it felt more like the latter. As soon as it turned December, the change in weather was drastic, and it forced Ashlynn to wear a warm dark poncho over her usually outfit. She has made a few acquaintances while at the Academy, but she not seen Mable for a long time, which was a shame, because she wanted to do something nice for the girl to partially repay her debt. Besides from that, nothing substantial really occurred during the past month; during her free time most of her thoughts were occupied with the attack from a month ago where she was referred to as "Mother". She asked around, both in and out of the Academy, but there were no leads. The 12 were ghosts.

Ashlynn entered the cafe, the bell ringing behind her. She ordered the usual (at least for this particular season), and thanked the barista after removing her helmet. Noticing Dark, she walked over and took a seat in the chair immediately across from him, raising her drink and then taking a sip.

"Didn't think I'd see you here."
"Like.. The disease. Pretty sure. Long story, really!", Cancer said, climbing the railing to the stairs. "I just remembered I have to be somewhere. I'll see you later, yeah?"

He jumped off the railing and snapped his fingers, summoning a R3NDR panel to catch him mid-fall. "And don't lose your headband!", he called as he and the floating panel zoomed down the hallway.

/Cancer left Scenario 7/
Cancer pointed to himself with his free hand using his thumb and let go of Avery after she got up.

"Cancer. Pleased to meetcha!"
Scenario 7

He heard a girl nearby talk about his helmet, and turned his head towards her. "FUCK YEAH it is!", he called, giving the Jade an obscene gesture with his finger.

Cancer turned his head back to face Avery. "Ha! No. I get lost all the time. I get detention all the time because I'm always so late."

He watched her stumble clumsily on the stairs as she tried to make her exit. "Right there? On the stairs? It's dirty though, isn't it? What with everyone shuffling about and chewing gum stuck on the bottom of their soles?", he said, holding out his left hand to help the girl up.
"The painting of... Oh god what's her name.. Minerva? I don't know, it's pretty easy to get lost in here, isn't it?"

"All these fuckin' hallways and no kiosks or maps like at the grandiose shopping centers where it explicitly tells you 'You are here! Conveniently located adjacent to the shop selling extremely fattening cinnamon buns the size of your fist' ", Cancer rambled pointing at an invisible map. He put his hands on his hips.

"But at least you got your headband back. Day made!"
He blinked behind the helmet, grabbed the headband off his head, stared at it for a moment, and put it gingerly onto Avery's raised finger, patting the headband gently as if it were a pet.

"..Sure! All yours", Cancer said, without having any real clue whether or not it really was hers. There was a moment of awkward silence and awkward staring, especially since Cancer's helmet looked like a comically happy, grinning skull. He raised an index finger as if he were about to say something, but then put his hand down.
Scenario #7

Kitchen duty was done. Not that it really bothered Cancer, as doing something, anything, was better than nothing. After leaving the kitchens, he started to wander. Did he have a class soon? More than likely. Was he lost? No. His damned random bursts of short-term long-term memory loss is of course to blame.

As he walked aimlessly throughout the halls, he came across a black headband. Cancer picked it up and placed it on his head, making it rest right on top of his helmet. He did not want to use it the way it was intended, as he would permanently stretch it out.

He ran throughout the Academy's halls, taking random turns onto random hallways, until he came across a large spiraling staircase. He suddenly changed pace and slowly went down the stairs, the headband bobbing up and down with each step, miraculously staying on top of his helmet every time. He passed a blonde-headed girl on the way down, and noted how ridiculously tall she was..
