I had a feeling he was still on the shore. :S captain? Care to inform us?

And, if we're saying them, I'm heading off to uni on the 30th, so I may be spotty with my posts in the week before, possibly after. I don't know what the wifi situation is like, but I should have internet.
Nice characters guys, all are accepted! :)
Name: Moe Wickens
Age: 18
Race: Not Quite human- not quites are mutations on the original race. They look like the race does, and act like it does, but have a quality that is beyond their race's ability. Most Not Quites don't even realize what they are, assuming their ability as extraordinary luck and practice.
Looks:

Personality: quiet and reserved, Moe doesn't speak much. She lives inside her head, and will ovten trail off in coversations, looking blankly ahead. When her interest is caught by someone, however, she'll open up to them, almost becoming outgoing around them. She is slow to anger, and will let insults directed towards her roll off her. But when another is ridiculed, she will become feirce and protective.
Short bio: Her pen name Hannah Talons is common in the city, as she is known for writing stories and books that captivates the readers. She realized when she was very young that she was a Not Quite, her extra ability bing that of words and writing. Fearing ridicule of her mutated state, Moe kept quiet about it, and started using a pen name for her writings. She now lives alone in the heart of the city, a small three story house, the attic being her bedroom and where she spends the most time writing.
Other: Moe speaks with an Australian accent.
we are now closed, sorry

Arom, an ancient city on the very edge of the sea, filled with wonders and magic. Merchants traveled from all directions, bringing goods from across the dessert to the west, the sea on the east. The dangerous marshlands to the north produced the most expensive and exquisite fruits and plants, while the frozen tundra's to the south brought strange meats and pelts of savage beasts, covered in amazing markings and colours. This isn't to mention the goods brought in from other dimensions. The sea was so close; the city was part of it, the streets surrounding strips of water, boats used as passage in exchange for the horses, mounts and automobiles many other cities sported. All manner of people live and travel through Arom, sharing secrets and exchanging stories. It is a friendly city, one where strange folk could find sanctuary from the dangerous minds of the rest of the globe. A city where the space was thin, and the worlds collided. A plethora of wonders inhabit the city, and it's known for its rare items. the city is a crossing point from all the relms, all the galaxies, all the worlds. with this being so, every imagnitable thing can be found in at one time or another in Arom. The city welcomes you, and its people wish you a good time.

A sandbox roleplay where the characters are inhabitants in the city, each day an adventure of it's own.

Some things to consider:
•Arom, the city, is based visually off Venice. (I'll have some pictures up for visual aid in a bit)
•With the city being so varied, your character can be of any race imaginable.
•Arom has no specific authority or goverment. There are police, but the crimes are few and far between.

~Rules~
1. No god-moding.
2. Don't make overpowered characters
3. No killing other characters without their expressed permission
4. Romance is great, but lets keep it PG
5. Swearing is alowed, but don't go overboard.
4. I make mistakes. If you see one that bothers you, tell me. I'll try my best to fix the situation.
6. I am alowed to ban you from the roleplay, but I only will if you break the rules enough.
7. I am a scatterbrain, so I am alowed to add rules, since I probably forgot some.
8 maximum of two characters per player.

Ah! Hank you all for the interest! :D I'll work on a OOC now!

And I think yes, two characters will be fine. :)

Edit: OOC is up! I look forward to your character sheets.

Danny dropped to the ground and bolted for the water as soon as Fenn made the move, but the captain was a step ahead of her, already under the surface after the girl. All the same, the mapmaker went out to her chest, waist deep for the average sized person. She waited and watched, looking for her captain or the princess, but her eyes were drawn behind her. Fenn was looking their way, but didn't have much intentions of attacking or shooting at them. The hoard of pirates seemed differently minded, though.
"Come on, captain." The girl muttered, wadding deeper i to the water. She hated feeling useless, but she didn't know what else she could do in the situation she was in.
I'll get a post up for Danny now. :)

Edit: ugh, sorry its so short. I'm tired, I apologize. I shall go into my corner of shame and fall asleep. Night, y'all.
No, not really. Nothing more than the daily conflicts between beings.
Yes! Do go ahead. :) i see no issue with that. Thank you for the interest!
Moe watched in awe as the four easily took out the robots in the span of a few minutes, while she herself stood back and watched. She disn't like feeling helpless, but she wouldn't be much help dead, either. Closing the portal from before, she opened a new one against the tree, connecting in the middle of the group. She leaned out, feeling the heat from a breat down robot husk on her cheeks.
"Alright, gang. Whats the plan. Evidently we's all mutants and heros and such, and being so, we's gonna get caught and diseccted or somethin'. I can get us outta the city, or into a locked building, or something. Just make a plan I can't keep up these things long." She stepped through fully, closing it was she spoke. The bigger the portal and the farther the portal made it harder for her to keep them up while staying awake. She had experemented once, keeping a portal on each of her bedroom walls open until she passed out, the portals dispersing. Didn't want to be stuck in the middle of one ehen it closed, either. She had tested that with a stick, finding it sliced in half, burn marks on the cut ends.
"Are we hidin' or high tailin' it?" She moved from foot to foot, anxiously wringing her hands.
