So, what about the pilot episode? Should we start coming up with ideas for the background of us all meeting?

And @Leviathan, just to clarify, Does Enya have the appearance of an Eight year old?
I'll be your Sabretooth.
@Leviathan & @AuntFlavia, thank you both for the sympathy. However I have pushed forward, and my Cambion character is up in the characters section. Also, good work witb Enya and Alexandre, respectively. This is looking pretty awesome so far.

Psych Profile:

Leonard is something of a lost soul. After nearly a century and a half of indulging his every bestial passion and encouraging others toward crime and apathy, he is slowly starting to find room for morality in his previously amoral world. Because of the uncertain ground upon which he is balancing, Leonard is not wont to act rashly. In fact, he is very likely to take an inhumanly neutral stance on any given issue as he takes his time to work out what the right thing is.

Old habits die hard, however. So he is still prone to think in terms of destruction and desecration. In order to reign this tendency in and keep his darker potential under control, he has adopted the philosophy of hedonism as a foundation upon which he might build his humanity. Goodness is to be found in comfort and pleasure and joy. Which is a far cry from his older philosophy which incouraged him to spread misery, pain and deceit amongst as many as he could and to take full advantage of anyone and everything that would deplete others of life and love.

History:

Conceived during one of the last true witches' sabbaths in Western Europe, Leonard never met his father and his mother was what today's world would call insane. However, at the time, it would have been far more acceptable to say that she was possessed. Either way, she was certainly not an ideal parent. He was raised to do evil, and taught that it was his destiny, his purpose in life, to degrade and defile as many innocent souls as he could. To this end, he suffered through the madwoman's evils until she died. And he was left to wreak his own wickedness upon the world.

And that he did, he played the part of the demon for the first two thirds of his life. But something changed after the World Wars. The people of earth started to go through a great spiritual awakening. And his hellish ways were quickly becoming seen as nothing more than dramatized hedonism. What could he do that could rival the great works of Hitler and Stalin? And they were mere mortals. It was a blow to his ego, all of these conditions of the modern world were. And to his identity. And to his faith.

Confronted with the possibility that it was all a lie, even his extraordinarily long lifespan was not evidence enough to keep him from losing his faith in evil. And throughout the last half-century, he was forced to reinvent himself and his ideas. He was certainly still a hedonist and this he had no need nor desire to change. But it was no longer horrible or shocking to be so. Especially as time moved on and he was considered more normal for his love of women than he would have been if he were bisexual.

So for now, he is attempting to blend in order to figure out what he really wants from life. He's spent many decades indulging his demonic side. Now he is attempting to indulge in his humanity.
Well, it looks like I'm off for a few rereads of those first three books. It might take a few days, but I'll pm you when I'm ready to play Lestat.
I need one person to be the original two roommates including Julie for the apartment. I'm open to any type of character, given it can keep a human form and is too high and mighty. Baphoment pm me the character I'm sure its totally fine.

I think I was too vague. I meant that the data was lost. Everything I'd written that I thought was saved was not saved. So I've started again. This time with a Cambion (half-demon).
I just spent several hours writing up a vampire character only to lose it all in one fell swoop...

Given that, I'm going back to the drawing board.
@Baphomet love your user name. ^^

:-)
Thanks very much. The feeling is mutual, by the way. Cheers to the demonic principles of magic and of life.
This could be fun
I'm surprised the vampire chronicles aren't on your book list. Have you read them? The film version of The Queen of the Damned is pathetic and childish compared to the book. However one really should read Interview and Lestat beforehand. Interview gets a little thick and strange during certain scenes, but it's still a good book. And The Vampire Lestat, which builds upon it, is probably one of the single greatest vampire books ever written.
