Oh, when will we be arriving at the village?
The train was heading towards a village under frequent, almost systematic attack by deserted Military Units. If enough personal and arms were leaving the army to form entire units capable of raiding villages, then truly the Empire was falling apart at its seams. The war has been won, that was certain. But certainly, the Empire never managed to grasp the most important thing of all.

Victory.

It was a war they could not afford to win twice. They had broken their hand trying to punch their enemy. Regardless, this was a time of strife and darkness, and that was certainly good for a girl like Franziska. Flipping through her book and ignoring the commotion going on around her, she waited patiently for them to arrive at their stop. Once she was done this chapter, she'd probably stand up and take a look around. Sitting in the corner of a train car was nice, but considering how drunk these people were getting it may be apt to move to the back, like one of her fellows was doing.

Name: Franziska Wendland
Age: 28
Weapon: Sturmgewehr 44 (StG 44) , Walther P38 , Nahkampfmesser (Trench Knife)

Bio: Former member of the military opposing the Empire. When she grew old enough she immediately joined officers school and joined a Army Engineer unit as a officer. With this, she was exposed to most faces of warfare mechanically and in literal practice. This also allowed her to assist in civilian engineering works, which she applies to her own command thought process. Though she was an Engineer, she preferred to take from the experience of using and repairing mechanized forces and apply that to her capability to command as an Officer. She participated in a few skirmishes and off the record battles in the pre war era, along with policing and peace keeping actions. After war broke out, she stayed part of the campaign up until the end and is a seasoned veteran who acts like someone double her age in maturity.

After her homeland fell, she eventually decided that the broken state left behind had no future for its military in the short term, and by extension her. She joined the Empire's military forces after civil unrest and banditry became a serious problem. She is a ranking commissioned officer within the unit.

Though her people lost the war, they produced quite a few technological marvels, and her primary assault rifle is one of them. It can be considered the worlds first "true" and currently only Storm rifle(Assault Rifle). Though many were produced by the end point of the war, they were not able to turn the tide.

Other:
Grenades and the like: Eierhandgranate (Model 39 'Egg Hand Grenade') and Stielhandgranate (Model 43 'Stick Grenade'), Schießbecher (Shooting Cup) , Haftholladung (Adhesive hollow charge)
Still keeps and prefers her own uniforms, but doesn't ever actually wear them for obvious reasons.

i'm too cool to be in any other unit
Academy life really was the best. Run around and troll during classes for seven hours, then you go to your magic circle and work on even more occult projects, and even when that was over you have people to boss around. Truly, life at the academy was good, especially with all the people around here to mess with, both in good and bad ways. To say she was enjoying this place would be an understatement. Diana understood. Diana always understood. This school was her playground. Except it wasn't.

Yes.

Regardless, it was tea time with her sl-brother, and this was a good a time as any to think on master plans. And she had many plans. Many plans indeed. Most of them involved horrible things that would probably result in collateral damage. Probably. But then, wasn't that the fun in plans? To see how they changed the world?

Seriously, people were totally weird for not wanting to change the world around them as they pleased. It was like, so totally easy. Who wouldn't? Some pleb, that's who. But, Diana was not one to judge. She understood why people preferred to live reserved lives. They were easy, and one had the freedom to pursue their goals and wants at their leisure.

Well, regardless, it was time to explain her genius plan. Diana sipped some of her plum tea, before stealing a cookie away from her brothers plate and munching down on it.

"So, are you familiar with the ke-" She didn't even get to start her caper before someone screamed hysterically. Obviously, it was a ghost.

Or a murder victim.

As a member of the Detective Club and Occult club, that made this doubly relevant to her. Thus, there was only one option.

She grabbed her brothers plate with cookies and dashed toward the source.
I'm in.

Slow or fast zombies? I assume slow?

Hm...that's fine, as long as they are currently in Vale or have JUST arrived. And no problem!

That's exactly what I planned for, so that works out perfectly.
Indeed
(Double post OP)
If it's alright, I'd like to app someone from a different country than Vale.

All accepted!!!And yeah, that'll spice things up a bit!The setting I had planned was that the country of Vales is going to be under attack...but I won't say who, why, or when, just be prepared!

Thanks!
