In half a hour I'll be offline till tomorrow afternoon somewhere [ europe time ] i am going to my bf's house and atm he doesn't have internet.

Ruby smiled some at Tessa and didn't know how to feel, of course she didn't know.. Erin was a man and he seemed nice. Before she sat down next to Tessa, across Erin, she took of her jacket. Revealing her pale skin and snow white hair, she hang her jacket on the point of the bench that was place around the table and tried to smile some, when she felt like it really looked fake, she stopped and took on a natural face. That directly felt much better. She looked up, hearing the door of the cafeteria open en close, she saw the boy that helped her find the dorms and thought of how rude she was just leaving him. She should stood up and tell him sorry but she did say thank you, twice... She didn't know if she needed to apologize. She concentrated on her tea to get the right color, so the tea wouldn't be to strong. She then dropped the tea bag on a little plate she had taken with her for it and softly blew the most warmth away from the tea.

Ruby looked at the boy that just introduced himself like it was so simple for him, she kept her hood on so she could hide her snow white hair and looked at him. She took the apple and placed it on his plate. ''It's okay'' she said with a small smile. She was nervous. Was she gonna say her name? It was quit weird to be called Ruby, which was the most beautiful stone if you asked her, and have snow white hair, a pale skin and light blue eyes. ''I.. I am Ruby..'' she then said and looked at Tessa for a moment, when she looked at him again, she smiled softly. ''I am also new here..'' she then said and took an other apple for herself.

She walked to the counter where she paid for her food and reserved her tea, she grabbed two sugars and a tea bag with a strawberry on it. ''Ehm..'' she then said and looked at Tessa again. She didn't want to look rude and just stop talking yet she also didn't feel great and a lot more on edge around this new guy. After all it had been her father and brothers that had wanted to sell her as a slave when they found out what she was. She didn't know what to do and hoped Tessa would help her.

Ruby followed Tessa and scanned the cafeteria for a place to sit while she was filling her plate with some frozen fruit salads, which seemed to be just some simple fruit pieces with some ice cubs, a sandwich and she ordered a warm cup of tea when the older women asked her what she wanted to drink. As a snow dragon she always loved the winter and so also loved cold food. Her uncle was driven nuts after making all the warm dinners for her and she just waited till it was cooled down. She smiled at the memory of the day he had given her ice cream as dinner because 'she only at cold stuff'. She looked at Tessa and smiled again.

She really felt good around her, when she wanted to grab a appel, her hand touched the one of the guy behind her. ''Oh.. S-sorry'' she said and pulled back, she looked at the guy with red hair and his dragon mark on his face. Why did it glow like that? she wondered but she wouldn't dare asking.

Ruby giggled, looked at Tessa's hand holding hers and closed her pale fingers around her new friends and walked along. She liked the way Tessa could laugh and how she had turned red when her stomach started to make silly noises. She looked around during their walk and kept in mind how to get to the cafeteria. ''Tess, are you sure your bag is save under that tree?'' she asked right before they entered the cafeteria. She didn't mind going to get it for her friend because she knew how it felt to lose something you really liked.

Ruby now stood next to Tessa and giggled softly about the noise her stomach made but right after Tessa's stomach was done, her own stomach made almost the same sound and she giggled even more. ''Look, they are talking.. Probably complaining to each other how bad we are for them'' she said with a wink and a giggle. ''Can you show me the way?'' she asked with a confused look, she did know how to get to the dorms now, thanks to that male student and how to find the courtyard but the cafeteria was something totally different.

Ruby looked at Tessa and smiled about her confident in how they were gonna become good friends. She was very happy to have a girl around her that was so positive. She just knew she could learn a lot from Tessa, plus she was a really beautiful girl. Ruby smiled as she looked at the other students and then looked at Tessa again. She asked if she wanted to grab something to eat, and she called her Rub. She smiled and nodded. ''That would be great...'' for a brief moment she stopped and thought. ''Tess'' she then finished her sentence with a nickname for Tessa herself. She didn't know how, but in the short hour they had talked, she had started to trust Tessa so easy that she almost would be afraid of losing this again.

Ruby didn't know how to respond on the surprised look on Tessa's face after she hugged her. And how more she looked surprised when she put back the piece of hair. Ruby smiled some and nodded as Tessa said she would love to meet her family. ''Yes.. They are wonderful..'' she said and felt a little sad, but she tried to not show that. When Tessa sat up again and pulled Ruby in a hug once more, saying she was glad to meet her, Ruby felt better again, closing her arms around Tessa for a brief moment. ''You are a very nice person Tessa.. I am.. not good with trusting people, even new people like me... Dragon-human I mean...'' she said with a little smile. ''I hope that we will become very good friends'' she said with a smile.

Ruby felt the change in Tessa's mood and looked a bit somber as she saw her new friend sad. She closed her eyes and pulled Tessa in a hug, so suddenly that she was surprised herself but kept Tessa like that for a moment. ''I am sorry...'' she whispered and looked at Tessa then, seeing her mood change back to giddy and quite happy. ''My uncle? His name is Arthur'' she said with a soft smile and saw a string hair from Tessa falling over her cheek. She softly placed it back to where it belonged and smiled. ''I can see that you would love to meet Black Opal and I bet you would love to see Gawain and the other dragons'' she said, she was still looking at Tessa now again with a smile.

Ruby looked at her with a smile. ''Maybe in a vacation or when we can go home for a weekend... if you want to.. And if Black Opal accepts you, if not than I'll stay with you in the house my uncle used to live in when he wasn't accepted yet.. Black Opal is ruling like a real dragon, she mostly is in her dragon form too'' she said with a little smile. ''His name? His human name became Gawain, his dragon name is Excalibur'' she said with a smile. ''He has a mark on his right feet that almost looks like some kind of a sword'' she said with a giggle. ''He really is a cute boy, almost five years old.. I used to dragon-sit on him'' she said with a smile. ''Do you miss your family?'' Ruby then asked slowly, looking at Tessa.
