War, Underworld and The Girls

Gwendoline heard the song Ares was singing, Alexandra had left after a few minutes but Gwen didn't mind. She listened to the sounds of the song and softly spoke:

''The god of war with his one little desire. To find peace for his heart, and a heart for his love.'' she whispered, her head was hurting too much to keep saying the rest and she must be honest with herself, the dream she had long ago where this song had been sung in, was slowly fading and she didn't exactly know what it was. ''The love he meets where he didn't expect it at most, his savior she will be and her heart will be yours'' she then said and smiled.

Alexandra smiled, putting the billet in her cash and then went to bed. The next morning she kept her shop closed as she wen to the hospital to see her best friend. At the hospital, Alex bought some flowers and chocolate and went to the room of Gwendoline. Entering the room she saw the girl stare trough the window from which you could see the forest a little bit.

''Morning Doll'' she said. ''Morning An, how was your night?'' Gwen asked. ''Nice, I sold a dress to the lord of the underworld'' she said and Gwen looked up. ''Was Hades at the shop?'' she asked and knew Alex wouldn't make jokes about that. ''Yes, he searched for a dress for Persephone'' she said with a smile. ''How did your evening go?'' she then asked. Gwen gave weak smile. ''Perfect.. I angered the god of war and ended up in a bad fight with Lucas and his gang'' she said. ''And Ares helped you?'' Alex asked. ''Yes, but I do not believe he did it because he felt sorry for me.. More to show how powerful he is or something'' she said. ''We will not expect him anytime here with flowers'' Alex said with a giggle and Gwen also had to laugh which ended in a painful cough.

Persephone walked from her bedroom to her throne and saw the box and frowned for a moment, she opened it and saw the dress and the hairband and smiled some. ''What a cute dress'' she said and went back to her room to get changed again. It was a day before spring and today would be the last day in the underworld for her before she would return for six months to her mother Demeter and father Zeus. When she had put on the dress, she turned around in it and smiled, putting the hairband in her hair and then she walked back to her throne as she looked for Hades.

Gwendoline woke up the next day feeling a little better and just looking out the window. She sighed which was hurting badly but she needed to breath. A nurse came by with her breakfast and she smiled, she tried to eat some but couldn't just keep much in her stomach at this moment.

Alexandra smiled. ''The dress is 15 euro, the hairband you get for free and please tell her that I hope she loves it as much I enjoyed making it'' she said. ''And.. Thank you.. For saving me, I owe you my life.. If I ever can do something for you'' she said as she knew exactly about the relationship between Persephone and Hades wasn't sunshine and red roses. Persephone mostly didn't like the underworld but Alexandra just hoped the girl wouldn't stress out her most beloved god.

Gwendoline didn't want to give up but the nurse came and gave her something to sleep so she fell off and didn't dream of anything. Her body healed slowly and a little bit in the time that she was sleeping and without knowing, she would feel a little better tomorrow.

Alexandra turned around with a hairband on which she had attached some nice flowers that totally matched the dress and laid it down. ''Sir.. You just said mortal world.. It is not something people say from this world'' she said with a giggle. ''And as you said before, your girlfriend, Persephone, is soon having her birthday'' she said with a smile. ''As I also said, I am a faithful believer in the Greek gods and I happen to know what you look like.. That picture is a drawing from me Sir'' she said. ''I once was nearly death, but believe that thanks to you, Lord Thanathos send me back'' she said and her phone rang.

She walked over and picked it up. ''The Alternative Goddess, with Alexandra'' she said. ''Oh Hi miss Puppet.. Oh no.. when did that happen? hm-mh.. Okay, no no, she must rest first for a long time.. I'll be fine, tomorrow I'll come by after the shop is closed... Thank you for telling me, when she wakes up please tell her that she doesn't have to worry about her job'' she said and hummed a few more times. ''Okay, well I have a costumer here soo.. Yes, thank you! Will do... You too miss... Bye'' she said and laid the phone down with a sigh. ''She is playing with fire again'' she said and looked at Hades.

Gwendoline heard it and felt a huge pain in her head. ''You didn't come earlier because I ruined your fight between the couple... am I right?'' She thought as a 'prayer'. She was a clever girl but also very stubborn and while she knew she needed to rest, since she had a heavy concussion. She wanted answers from him, he was the god of war and she wanted to know why he had enjoyed to see her getting beaten up before he would suddenly save her. So she tried to stay awake even though everything hurt.

Alexandra looked up as she heard someone come in, she saw him looking at the picture and she smiled some. ''I am sorry Sir.. I am a true and faithful believer in the Greek Gods and he.'' she said and pointed at the picture. ''Is my favorite because he is a hard working man and doesn't think of his duty as something easy'' she said and then walked to a shelf where her dresses where hanging.

''You mentioned a slower shirt or skirt or both'' she said as she picked a few dresses she had made a few weeks ago. ''I actually just finished my flower line for the up coming summer, yet nobody did pay attention to it yet'' she said truthfully and laid the pieces down. One dress looked exactly like what he wanted as she laid down her most beautiful items she walked over the the accessories and smiled at him. ''I am not trying to sell you to much, i mean, you are free to buy what ever you want'' she said with a smile, he could see and feel that she was a hard working girl. She was just searching for something as she said ''Everything for the God of the Underworld''

Hana just sat in the store, preparing a next class since even though she isn't here always and sometimes just go's on vacations, or that is how she calls it, she did do her best for this because she actually liked teaching. Even in the Soul Society, the people of her squad come to her for training advice and help. She smiled thinking about that and decided to prepare some lunch before going back to prepare the next class.

While making something to eat, just some simple western stuff like roasted bread and some egg salad, she couldn't help but think about how Zant-kun had sit in her class room. He had not even thought about acting like he was doing his best, that was probably what she liked about him, he showed what he did and what he didn't like. He was truthful but also a liar... And that was dangerous combination, he was so easy in saying a fake first name. He probably had been doing that for a long time. And she? She had his I.D. in her hands, could simply have opened the envelope and look at it but she didn't. Because she knew Urahara would probably have added a trick and if not, she just didn't do that because she wants him to be truthful with her. She sat back down and ate her lunch.

Gwendoline was maybe injured and for a human, pretty bad, she had seen how this man had saved her. When the doctors had given her a few stitches and the nurses had brought her to a bed she closed her eyes. ''Thank you for saving me Lord Ares'' she thought and then fell asleep. She dreamed about the fight and how she got beaten up, the nightmare she couldn't just simply loose and she didn't sleep well.

Alexandra looked at the man and was a little confused but then looked at the other man that asked for her help again and nodded. She finished her drink and then stood up, leaving the money plus a generous tip behind. ''I am going back, if you finished your drink and meal, come meet me at the store.. It's called: The Alternative Goddess.'' she said and then walked away with a smile. She went to her store and opened up for her evening shift, it wasn't that late yet and she always had a few late birthday shoppers that loved that she was still open.

''They...'' Gwendoline said but spewed out some blood. ''auw..'' she muttered and sighed. ''I know the leader...'' she said but is wasn't easy to talk. ''He is mostly using knifes..'' she said and breathed with pain, she sure had a rib broken or something. ''The.. coward..'' she said and looked at the man. ''T.. Thank you'' she said and nurses directly got a wheelchair and a neck brace for her Gwendoline as they walked in. ''Gwendoline!'' a female nurse said shocked, it was her foster mom. ''H-hey mom..'' Gwen said with a smile. ''Just a scratch.. give me a plaster and I'll go home'' Gwen said. ''No way young lady.. What happened?'' she asked. ''I helped Daisy and James..'' she said. ''Did James do this?'' her mother asked. ''No.. he has... chicken-power..'' Gwen said and closed her eyes. ''No no no, stay with me Gwendoline'' the nurse said. ''It was... that Lucas'' Gwen said, she was dizzy and didn't see very clearly. ''That man helped me... he is strong'' she said and pointed to Ares. Her mother looked up. ''Thank you for saving my daughter... Did they hurt you?'' she asked as Gwendoline was taken to a doctor.

Alexandra looked at the man and smiled kindly. ''Yes I do.. I use old clothes to make new things.. Are you in a search for something special?'' she asked with a smile as she took a few other sips from her coffee. It did feel like she was talking to the picture in her atelier and it was pretty weird but she didn't mind, if he wanted to buy something from her for his girlfriend than she wouldn't tell him no.

Gwendoline walked by the couple and frowned, she knew them but never had seen them in such a huge fight. She couldn't help it but walk to them and lay a hand on both shoulders. ''Daisy... James... What is going on?'' she asked. Even though they sure where still angry as the hell was warm, they looked at her and both told what happened, as they almost got into a new fight Gwen placed Daisy on a bench and James next to her. ''There'' she said as she squatted down and laid her hands on their knees. ''No psychical height between the two of you.. you are such a great couple, placed by each other by Aphrodite herself and she is busy enough so couples like you are very special'' she said. Daisy smiled again a little, she wasn't the type of girl to fight at all. James just looked away, he was harder to convince this was not necessary. Gwen looked at James and James now looked back at her. ''Go mind your own business'' he said and Gwen just felt she had no choice but to leave them alone. ''I'll...'' she said and stood straight again, this time with a less nice look on her face. ''But I promise you that I'll get you if you hurt Daisy'' she said. She then gave Daisy a hug and walked off.

Daisy was just like Gwen and they had both shared their foster parents and even though Daisy and Gwen had not much contact after Daisy had left, Gwen and she always gave each other a hug and chatted some when they saw each other in the city. Gwen was close to home where she would drop of her sport bag and then go to her fosters house, when she walked into the alley and got bumped against by a big man. ''Look out bitch'' he said, Gwen looked at him. ''You bumped into me'' she calmly said but more wasn't needed to receive a fist in her face or, so thought the owner of the fist but Gwen was to fast for him. They started to fight and his friends helped him.

Alexandra decided to go for a cup of coffee and got her coat, she walked off to the restaurant where she always grabbed her evening drink and smiled at the waitress who knew what she wanted. Alex went to her favorite place but saw someone sitting on it already, she smiled at the man with black hair that looked exactly like the picture she had of Hades and somehow she did feel a little weird. She sat down at a table across him and when the waitress putted down her chocolate-cappuccino she smiled at Alex. ''How is the store?'' she asked. ''Very well, I was busy making some new items'' she said with a smile. ''Are you still open in the evenings too?'' she asked. ''yes, for the evening shoppers I am still open, only not when I am here of course'' Alexandra said. ''Good good, I am finishing my shift in fifteen minutes, I am gonna come by after checking out and grabbing my stuff.. I really wanna try that white evening gown you made with the blue lace'' the girl said. ''You are free to come by'' Alex said and then drank from her chocolate-cappuccino.
