Elsbeth hugged him back, and at that moment, their baby kicked so they both would feel it. "Oh" she said and smiled. "He is getting stronger" she said and smiled. "But that's normal, with such a strong daddy and a dragon god grandfather" she said and then laid a hand over her head. She turned away. "Ehm.. How was your day?" She asked and walked to the table. "Oh and.. I let the chef make your favourite dishes" she said with a smile.

The moment Xaven took over too close the necklace , Vanessa closed her eyes. She smiled and when he stood in front of her, saying it looked good on her, she blushed and laid her forehead against his chest. "Thank you.." She whispered, meaning also the fact that he was there for her, even during the nights. Then she looked up and smiled at the others. "Thank you all" she said and looked at Xaven's father. "Sir.. Please look after your health... You are needed in this family" she said with a little smile.

She looked at Xaven and smiled. "Thank you for the compliment on my photographs" she said and right at that moment, she saw his mom with a camera and she grabbed Xaven's arm and turned him around, dropping it over her shoulders and looked at him with a funny face right as his mom took the photo. She giggled and then walked away, going inside and two minutes later coming back. "I didn't come here empty handed myself either" she said and gave his parents both a present. His mother got a DIY cakes and pies book and for her father she bought a series of very nice pens. She turned to Xaven's uncle. "I didn't know you would be here.. So I didn't bought anything for you, I hope you will accept my apologies for that.." She said. He smiled and nodded at her. "That's okay Miss Vanessa" he said. Vanessa then turned to Xaven with a little box in her hand. "This is for both of us.. Because we are best friends and because you are very dear to me" she said and blushed some, she really hoped he wouldn't think of it as girly or something. She gave him the box and inside he would fine two necklace's with both a platinum puzzle piece which perfectly fitted together. Plus a note saying: Xaven, you are the best friend I could have wished for, my only wish is that we will stay together forever. Loves Nessie. Normally she ended her notes to him with Hugs Vanessa. The hint behind this new ending would be easy enough to catch she hoped. "You can choose which one you wanna keep" she said and smiled. Oh she so hoped he would like it!

''Are you calling me or your father a nerd?'' Vanessa asked him with a raised brow, she would get him back for it! She smiled and then when he talked about the stealing the cookies during camp she looked at him with a very nutural look. ''Well, since I know you pretty well.. You will probably sneak up behind me as I am eating them, wrap your arms around me and then try to steal them, either way from my hands or the one in my mouth.. But I'll tell you now, if you ask very nicely, I'll give you one'' she said with a giggle.

They got to the pictures and nodded. ''Good idea to not buy discount.. I remember feeling sad that nobody asked me for prom, you had graduated already and still you bought the tickets for us and surprised me with it a week before'' she said. ''It was the best night of my entire high school period.. Unbelievable that after camp I am going to the Art and Photography College in New York'' she said with a sigh. ''I really can't try to make you come with me? It would be nice knowing someone... And you are like my guardian angel'' she said. She then looked at Xaven and nodded. ''Yeah, her dress was ugly.. But everyone wanted to have it.. I was very happy with my night blue gown..'' she said and laid a finger on herown shoulder in the picture. Her night blue gown had been perfect for her. ''Oh and don't worry, if I had been queen.. I would have asked if I could dance with my personal royal goofball'' she said with gave Xaven a push against his arm.

She ate from her cake after she had wished her wish and smiled. ''It is delicious'' she said and looked at Xaven. ''I am not cruel, I'll wear them during camp.. All of them, one by one so you can tell me which suits best'' she said with a giggle. She smiled and looked at his parents when Xaven suddenly dropped his plate with his cake, she looked at him and saw how he was holding his head like it was about to explode. She gave his father her plate, actually pushed it in his hands and grabbed his head, getting him to stand straight. ''Look in my eyes..'' she whispered and tried to distract him, she hadn't seen that his uncle had arrived and when he walked into the garden, saying he was late. She looked up a little shocked. ''Well.. That doesn't matter, I didn't expect more people to come..'' she said, for one hundres procent honest as always. She looked at Xaven and saw he was okay and smiled, she walked over and gave him a new piece of cake and also sliced one for his uncle.

''Yes.. It is'' she said and offered him the cake, which he took yet it wasn't like he was happy about it and only did so she wouldn't feel bad. She then listened to what he had to say about the pocket knife. ''Well.. You are right in that..'' she said and then looked at the box. She opened the box and was a little surprised. She showed it to the other immediatly and listened to the story. ''Don't you think this should be in a museum ?'' she asked and looked at the uncle. ''I mean.. Wolfs are beautiful animals and the idea of true love surviving such a thing is wonderful.. But I can't accept this, it would be too much'' she said.
She liked the necklass, the stone had something that made her wanna stare at it for the rest of the day. Before she knew the uncle had taken the box, taking the neckless out. ''Noncense.. I want you to have it'' he said and before she could do anything, he stood behind her and tried to close the lock. ''Xaven, can you help? It's not working for me. My fingers aren't small enough'' he said and turned to his nephew.

Vanessa liked the hug of Xaven and when his mother said it was time to let go she smiled, a honest smile, and let his mother lead her to the couch. She was a little overwhelmed by all of this but then again loved it too. She looked at his father and listened to what he said and smiled. ''Thank you.. Thank you so much'' she said and poked Xaven in his belly. ''Be nice! A Diary is a very good thing..'' she said and then looked at his mother, a little scared of what she had bought. His mother always had been overwhelming, in a good way though and she loved the women for who she was. Just, sometimes she didn't know if she had to be scared if she came around with a gift.

She looked at the cookies with a grin. ''Don't think I'll share those'' she said and looked at Xaven, keeping the cookies close. She then took the album and looked at the pictures, tears welled up in her eyes but she smiled as they rolled over. She even saw some pictures from her own parents and sister. She then realized she would have forgotten those times if she didn't had this album. She laid a finger on a photo from herself with her mother as her mother was doing her hair. ''High school prom.. Dad and you had taken you to my place to help you out with the bad fitting tux you had bought.. And your mom and mine had decided too make me look like a princess'' she whispered with a smile. ''I got you to dance.. After bugging you about how you would kill my evening if you didn't..'' she said and then looked at a phote she didn't even knew that had been taken. ''This was at the dance.. Right after the king and queen had been announced and you told me that they had made a wrong decision not voting for me..'' she said with a smile. ''You always know how to brighten up my day'' she said and looked at Xaven.

The last present made her blush and look at Xaven's mom. ''Thank you miss.. I'll wear them proudly'' she said. All three were different and very nice. One had the dessin of the American Flag, the other was red white Hawaiian and the last one, which probably would become her favorite was black with light blue and had as bottom a skirt over the pants. She looked at Xaven and shook her head. ''Maybe I'll just have to get at least one used to water..'' she said with a look at him. ''But we are having a party so I can't leave for a dive in the lake'' she said and laid them away, teasing Xaven. His mother giggled and cut the cake in pieces and started to give them all a piece. ''since we have no candles, I want you to take the first bite and do a wish during that bite'' she said. Vanessa nodded and took a bite, thinking to herself: ''My only wish is that Xaven and I will always stay friends and that we will never lose each. She then swallowed the bite and looked at them with a smile. ''It's delicious!''

Vanessa giggled some about him mentioning his grandma would kill him if he changed something. Yeah, that could be right.. And that would still be doing something she didn't want. ''Hmm.. Maybe a pie could be your treat after work'' she said with a grin, her grandma had learned her to bake and when she wasn't busy with drawing / sketching new clothes or making them, she loved too bake stuff or make a good meal.

''Anyway.. I have a nice project for you'' she said as she looked at Kade with a smile. ''Because, believe it or not.. I am a fashion designer and I need a place to design and make my stuff.. And sell it.. So I would like too invite you over for dinner, a good home made meal of course, and then you can take a look around in the house and tell what the best options are'' she said and then looked at Sarah and Riley. ''And of course you and your family are invited too!'' she said, maybe a bit to fast and blushed a little.

She was glad to have Sarah still living here now she was back and now that Kade was back, so would maybe have a friend back.. Yet she didn't know for sure yet because of the history of her, indeed, having a crush on him.. He had turned into a very handsome man, that could trigger her crush to return.. Last time she had seen her male classmates from high school, at least those from which she thought she had crushed on them, they turned out to be fat, bold and pretty ugly.. Not that she would mention someone as ugly just.. Less Attractive. She frowned as he said something about a phone, how could he hear that? She was closer by the house and didn't hear anything.. She then raised a brow at him. ''Did the Marine give you special hearing plugs? Cause I thing you forgot to give those back'' she said in a joke.
