Vanessa smiled and kissed Xaven in return when he got up and nodded. ''Sorry'' she said but giggled and then walked upstairs. She went to her own room, and even though she would love to lay next to Xaven this night, she wasn't gonna try for the sneaking into his room because she needed enough sleep for the ride to the camp the next morning. Tomorrow would be camp, and she smiled by the idea of seeing all the others again.

The next morning Vanessa was the one that woke up Xaven, just not so sweet and sound as he had done the morning before. She opened the door of his room and jumped on the bed. ''Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!'' she said and giggled, she fell on her butt on his bed and looked at him. ''Wake up Xaven!!!'' she said and then kissed his cheek. ''Five minutes, then I expect you to be downstairs at the breakfast table, I'm gonna make toast'' she said and then walked back to her room. She had showered already and now put on her Black and Pink dress and her black sandals with a pink flower on the side of her ankle. Underneath it she was wearing her white / red Hawaiian bikini. She headed downstairs and started to put the bread slices now in the toaster.

Five minutes later, she looked at the stairs and smiled as she saw Xaven coming down already. ''Luggage is downstairs already, even in the car already'' she said. ''Your uncle helped me'' she said and smiled. Then she got on her toes, kissed his cheek and then walked back to the kitchen. She had taken several locks of hair and bound them together on the back of her head, making it not hang in her face but still hanging loose. She was excited about going to camp, she wanted to see her camp friends again and this would actually be her last camp too since she was going to college and she would be too busy during the summers with working to pay for the things she needed in the future.

Of course, she had her parent's inheritance but she could only touch that once she was eighteen, would take her one more year but she didn't want to take the money.. Once she could totally use it, that would be when she was twenty-one, she would only use it if she really needed it. Or just give it to a charity.

Elsbeth smiled and took Derik back from her grandfather. ''Baba!'' Derik had given the old man a new name already and she smiled. ''I believe that Mike and I are at our strongest together.. Like it was fate that brought us together'' she said and smiled. ''Beautiful Snow?'' she then asked and held her head to the side. Derik started to play with her hair and she smiled. ''I've never heard of it..'' she said and then looked at her mother and father. ''Wait, do you mean that you two will be able to stay? As in... For ever?'' she asked and was surprised.

Belfire and Marina looked at Felwinter and both nodded. ''We will marry both ways, human and dragon.'' Belfire said. ''But only, if you will marry us the dragon way'' Marina said. Elsbeth was still a bit surprised, too surprised to actually react on this all and she looked at Mike. She placed Derik down and the little prince first did a few steps and then placed himself on his knees and crawled to the throne.

''Felwinter'' Starector said and looked at her husband. ''Don't forget I also was a mortal dragon / human'' she said and putted her finger on his nose. ''So let our son love Marina, he was the first to make you grandfather and even though you never have showed up before, I know how much you like Elsbeth'' she said. ''Remember your comment: Oh my, she just looks like our little Belfire.. And her lila hair doesn't just come from her father, as also from you'' she said. Of course she knew that he was a strict man and didn't believe in love at first sight but she wasn't gonna let him make Belfire or Marina or Elsbeth feel bad.

Elsbeth looked at her grandfather. ''Then, as you seem so strict, I wanna apologize for my parents miss-behavior but to be honest, I ain't really sorry about it. Without them, I wasn't here... And I might have made some mistakes in the past but I am me and I am your granddaughter, which I am very proud of'' she said and smiled. She stood straight, shoulders straight, her chin a little up like a real queen and a proud and happy glimmer in her eyes. ''I've dealt with strict man in my life, my so called father was very strict too.. And believe me, it only makes your child's sneaky and having to keep secrets'' she said and then she took Derik over from her husband. ''And that is why I'll do it differently'' she said and kissed her son on his cheek. She then walked to her grandfather. ''Here grandfather, hold your great grandson'' she said and she laid him in his arms. Derik looked with big eyes at the man and then smiled. ''Baba!!'' he called and laid his hands in Felwinter's beard.

Ashlinn sighed a little and looked at Mike before he left. ''It's not that there is made a mention for badly injured people at your training camp, it's more that we are simply making sure that you guys won't get soar from the training you do... And with that new recruit, I don't know his name.. I just like to check out at least once a day'' she said. She then saw him leave, a little worried and shook her head. Though she was happy that she didn't have to talk right away, she would be doing some more talking at the camp.

When she, and Kieren, reached the trainings camp, she looked around. ''Morning everyone.. Those who are soar from the training better come over here so we can help you all with your bruises..'' she said, even though she mostly has a soft voice, when she spoke, she was able to let them know that she was there and for what she was there. She then looked at Kieren. ''I'll take a table and start with the light injured.. Could you.. check on the recruits to see if they all come over? Sometimes you telling them to go helps.. As you are the leader of us'' she said and smiled a little.

Vanessa took the tissue and used it to take out the sleep stuff from the corners and when that was gone, she threw it in the trashcan and then walked outside, taking Xaven's hand and looking at him. ''Hey, I know what you are thinking... But we have a lot of free time and I'll call you, and we can Skype-call and visit each other.. I'll be having a dorm-apartment but I read the rules and if my house mate is okay with it, I can have every first or last weekend someone staying over'' she said and smiled. ''Come on X.. Don't be so looking sad'' she said, she got on her toes and kissed him on his cheek. They already stood in the hall way and she looked in his eyes. ''Pizza time'' she said and then took his hand again and dragged him downstairs.

During the meal, Vanessa listened mostly to the story's from the others and when they asked her about her plans after camp, she smiled. ''I am going to college first and spend a lot of time photographing, and of course the therapy my aunt send me too, which is good.. I don't know but maybe it helps... And I am planning on coming back the summers! My time in college will be four years so that means at least three full summers and maybe one halve'' she said. ''I already told the camp-organisation that after this year I'll probably be too busy with college but that I'll sure try to stay a junior-counselor'' she said and smiled.

Later that night, after dinner and after that the dishes had been done. They all had been sitting outside for a while and now Vanessa got up. ''Tomorrow it will be an early day so I am gonna head to bed'' she said. She gave Xaven's parents both a kiss on their cheeks and a hug. ''Thank you all so so much'' she said and then looked at his uncle, he had stayed and she gave him her hand. They shook it with a smile. ''Thank you for the necklace, I think that I won't wear it much, but that is because it is so precious.. I'll keep it and cherish it for ever'' she said and the man nodded. ''That is great to hear'' he said and then Vanessa walked up to Xaven. She smiled and kinda couldn't help herself, they never had secrets for his parents. So she laid her hands on his cheeks and kissed him on his lips, closing her eyes.

Marina spoke up: ''You are right Sir.. When my father died and passed by the gates of heaven, he asked if I could come back because my daughter was gonna be needing me'' she said and then smiled as he told Belfire that he wouldn't have to try something like that again. Belfire looked at his father, laying his arm around Marina and then kissed her cheek, knowing he, as a strict man, wouldn't like the boldness of his son. Marina loved it though, she blushed, giggled and then looked back at him.

''I can't '' Diablo said after the explanation about the weapons. ''It is a huge honor but I am not the defending type, more the attacker..'' he said. ''Plus, I don't think I can do this'' he said. Elsbeth got up from her throne and walked to Diablo, laying a hand on his shoulder. ''We all have faith in you, and Ant did fight too but also protected those he loved.. You are Mike go back almost a thousand years'' she said. ''I believe in you'' she whispered and Diablo closed his eyes, and then smiled, something that rarely happened. ''Okay, I'll do my best'' he said and nodded.

''Cat-woman?'' Lyra asked and looked at him. ''You seriously called me a cat-woman?'' she said and then shot an arrow at him, yet it wouldn't hit him but also not be able to be blocked. ''That was a warning, I live here already my whole life, if you think you can just say that I am a cat-woman then you are far in the wrong side of life'' she said. ''Fairy's fly over the forest, so use those petit wings and fly'' she said.

That sure is a big dog you have there !
