Name: Lydia "Lyds"
Age: 13 despite looking 11
Gender: Female
Species: Human

Personality: Lydia is a silent, reclusive child who blankly stares at others she doesn't trust or is just plain refusing to respond to others due to how she was treated. She's kind to Beetlejuice, seeing him as her protective, if demonic, old brother and despite being human is protective of him. She's slow to trust outsiders and despises the government officials who use her ability to summon Beetlejuice for their own gain with little regard for her.

History: Lydia had been a little odd as a child when her parents noticed her seemingly talking to no one until they found out she was very clairvoyant and communicating to ghosts. They were supportive but unfortunately met an untimely death, leaving Lydia truly alone and feeling invisible once in the orphanage. It wasn't until Beetlejuice came into her life that things changed to happier times, keeping his existence a secret as she privately talked to him. Somehow the two were found out and Lydia was taken away to a secret lab facility where both her and Beetlejuice were trapped, only allowed out to carry out missions that mostly involved the demon. She only tagged along to summon him and upon seeing a few deaths grew numb and emotionally detached to it to the point of tuning out the screams of death with a blank expression. All she really wants is freedom, a loving family, and to make those who kept her caged suffer.

Name: Ashley "Ash" Azazel Ignatius

Gender: Nonbinary or as they put it, "Yes."
Species: Fire Demon

Personality: Ash is a demon who loves being entertained, be it watching poor souls being tortured or the like. Something that curves their interest. They loathe being bored to the point of causing havoc and chaos just to watch the little human insects scramble around to fix it all while having a cigarette.

Other: Being a demon, they're able to travel between the Netherworld and the living plane as well as teleport wherever the hell they want to. They've mastered their pyrokinetic abilities from lighting a cigarette with just a finger to engulfing themselves in flames. Unlike Beetlejuice, they have no need to be summoned and can disguise themselves to blend in with the foolish humans who are none the wiser. Their powers are close to Beetlejuice's but they choose to use little violence if possible. Not that they're a pacifist, they just don't want to ruin the suit. They also give anyone they find interesting endearment nicknames.

History: Ash left the Netherworld after finding everything there just dull, especially after the disappearance of their close friend, Beetlejuice. Wanting something more to their undead life, they gave themselves a human appearance and started living on Earth, learning how humans ticked. Finding a muse now, they stayed for centuries watching humans squirm under pressure. They were just getting bored again when approached with joining a government organization that wanted to study the paranormal, specifically a little girl who was able to summon a reality bending demon.

Interested, they agreed to join under contract that no one else knew of their true self, keeping it in the dark as they watched over the little girl and Beetlejuice. Naturally they were surprised that he was attached to such a weak little thing but knew not to question or test it, knowing how strong the bond between human and demon was once said demon chose their human. While the testing of the girl and Beetlejuice's abilities have been intriguing, it's turned dull over the years. And who doesn't love a little chaos?
