Lydia had struggled to get away but all were futile as she was placed in the van, trembling softly. It wasn't fair, everything was finally going great for them; a family, new friends, a real life all too be taken away. Her rage grew inside, her eyes seeming to glow it flowed out of her. "NOOOO!" She roared, the glass on the utility van exploding, the soldiers sent flying back from the unseen force. She panted softly as her voice turned hoarse, a wave of exhaustion taking over as she slumped towards Nate.

"What? No, I'm not leaving you behind, Beej." Lydia said despite Adam already starting to drag her away. "No! Let go of me! We can't leave him!" She screamed, tears forming as she locked her caramel eyes onto Beetlejuice's yellow ones. She reached out to him in one final attempt to stay with him, pleading for him to grab her hand.

"Shit, how did they find us?" Lydia asked, forgetting about the whole not cursing around the labradoodles. She glanced at Beetlejuice, her face pale. If they stayed, someone could get hurt. If they fled, they'd be tracked down.

"To put those a- morons out of commission once and for all? Let's do it." She smirked. The thought of making that facility crumble brought hope and a bit of joy to her. Her captures being the ones to suffer the consequences.

"You're not going in alone. We're helping you guys, like it or not." Zach said, folding his arms.

"No, out of the question. You guys could get hurt, or worse killed." Lydia said.

"And like you won't? We all agreed to be friends. Friends help each other."

"They know the truth." Lydia said before telling them what happened but sparing them the details of what The Collector looked like. She couldn't bring herself to horrify the innocent labradoodles. "Beej saved us before there were any casualties."

"It was so cool! He turned the hallway into a fighting ring like WWE!" Zach exclaimed.

"Right." Lydia said with a little nod before noticing that Zach and Nate were still there, standing off a little ways."What about them? They know the truth now. Should we bring them along?" She asked.

"Dude, what are we going to do? We just lied to a cop and our new best friend happens to have a demon on her side that can defeat other demons. Do we team up to take other demons down or what?" Zach asked Nate, looking back at Lydia and Beetlejuice.
