Dead Earth -- The Cure for Zombies

It was late 2014 when the plague first broke out. It was much worse than expected. Thousand "dead" within weeks. CDC and the Military tried to stop it, but they were mostly stopped.

Mostly.

A partial cure was made shortly the last goverments of the world fell. It prevented the plague from spreading by air. Since most of the CDC and Military fell, the full cure was never released upon the world.

It's 5 years after the end. But some say that the cure is still out there somewhere, in a secret facility.

It could lead to a beginning.

"White... I think the truck is refueled."

"Sweet mother of Jes- YES!"

The two friends celebrated the refueling of the truck. They had been refueling it for weeks, to travel to a nearby (4 hour drive) to an airfield.

"Alright, so where going to... do what?", asked John.

"We're gunna take a plane to DC. I hear there's a large encampment there. Maybe even the last bit of the goverment? Hopefully it's a cool place..."

"Well, I've already packed as much as I can, lets get going!"

And the duo traveled down the road.

Unaware of what would happen next.

John Lewis

John was a programmer before the disease. He was prepared for this. He was finally able to live his zombie dreams. Well, not so much. His stash of zombie supplies was raided and he lost almost everything. While looking for supplies, he was shot and nearly killed by a raider, before being rescued by Dr. White.

Dr. White

Dr. White was a CDC paramedic, working in the field. When his camp was overrun and he was left behind, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He escaped the camp and traveled on his own, before meeting John Lewis. They made a base in a warehouse in a city, where they are currently living.
