Hi! I’m Onyx. I’ve been writing on and off for over 10 years now, but I always seem to come back to it. The last couple of months I’ve been thinking pretty much nonstop about writing again, and I was hoping I could find some good partners here! Please see the categories below for additional information before messaging me! :)
- 18+ only. I'm an adult, I expect you to be. It’s a comfort thing.
- I'm looking for 3+ paragraphs per post.
- Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation are a MUST! I understand mistakes here and there, though!
- I usually just do MxF, with a slight preference for playing female. I do play as males, too, especially for side characters.
- I'd prefer that my partners reply at least once a week, maybe once every two weeks, which is about how much I'll be able to post. My schedule is very hectic as I have a full-time job, a small side business, and I’m in college full-time, as well.
- OOC chat is preferred! I like to get to know my partners and keep in good communication!
- I'm really not big on high fantasy. EX: dragon/animal-human hybrids, fae, certain settings, etc.
- Roleplays that revolve solely around sex. I don't mind the foreplay/build-up, but I don't just do explicit sex scenes for no reason. Fade to black is also an option if that’s what you’re more comfortable with.
- I don’t like anime face claims or written descriptions much. I prefer real-life pictures.
- Romance is a must for all roleplays or at least building towards it!
- Paranormal/Supernatural.
- Gore, blood, violence, and cursing.
- Slice of life is fun.
- If you have read this far, tell me your favorite animal in your PM to me or I probably won't reply!
- I only RP in PM due to it being easier to keep up with.
- See the pairings below for some things I'm into. I'm open to other ideas if you have them, too.

For now, you can call me Onyx! I'm not new to roleplaying or to RPG itself, but it has been quite a few years since I found myself back here! Writing has always been a passion and hobby of mine, and I find myself missing it more and more as time goes on. I felt like it was time to make a reappearance and do something I love so much!
A little bit about myself: I love video games, I love reading when I can, I'm easily addicted to different TV/movie series. I collect bones and other oddities. My day job is as a scientist, but my best friend and I are starting a candle making business that will hopefully grow into jewelry making and other items! I'm a pet mom with three dogs, a cat, and two guinea pigs - they are definitely my life!!
I hope to get to meet some of you guys soon! :)
