i'm not moving Jethro until we have an official decision. which probably won't be till tommorow anyway cause critical role is on tonight so i'll be busy.

may i make a suggestion? how about we just start over by timeskipping to the point where we either can see our destination from a distance or about to enter the city.
that's the thing. complaining about the order without there being one is a bit silly.

Some small part of him was dissapointed, but he was mainly relieved. Leaving the cover of the underbrush the dwelf waited for the other's to catch up to him. It was then the other's suggested reporting back to Dyllon. "That would be a bad move. At least a pair would go back if not all. It may be clear up here, but bandits could still attack from behind. I know it would only serve as doubling back for nothing, but there's still a chance and that's a chance I'm not willing to take." Said the dwelf with adamant sinserity.
can i have animal handling instead of investigation? or do i not get animal handling yet?
@vkallen I know it may be a bit late to mention it now, but you never asked what skills i wanted trained in. that is unless my char is that predictable. XP
Jethro nodded as they were dismissed. Turning to the rest of the group he spoke up. "Alright, I'm only going to go about twenty or so yards ahead, but if I see anything suspicious I'll signal like this." He makes a trilling whistle of a bird native to his province. "No birds around these parts should sound like that. Hopefully there are no mockingjays about." He considered jokingly before heading off into a trot. Once ahead a bit on the trail he dives into the bush. (stealth 14*) Keeping an ear and eye out he scans the forest and the trail ahead. (perception 17*)

After hearing Dyllon mention bandits and bears Jethro turned to the Gnome who had reeled in the female tiefling back to the group. Jethro chuckled at the rather conceited way the tiefling had returned. "No need to be tossing insults mate. It's been a long ride for all of us. I happen to agree. Bandits and bears aint exactly child's play. Like I said, I think I'll be best suited up front in the bush. Should anything pop up i'll signal y'all sound good?" Asked Jethro of the gnome.
it's not really dialog that I'm wanting. it's insight, feeling, history. stuff like that. maybe i'm just not use to writing a tabletop style game. my apologies for any confusion I may have caused.
