The planet Draon is a planet only slightly bigger than earth, caught just inside the goldilocks zone. It is covered in light blue oceans and two supercontinents but no other landmasses. The western supercontinent; Testros, was where the Krolm developed first on this planet alone. The Eastern supercontinent; Alora, was where the Drao developed alongside Krolm.

The planet of Draon is populated by two different species, the Drao and the Krolm.

DRAO: The Drao are vampire like Humanoids who feed from blood and meat but nothing else as plants and vegetables alone can not sustain them. They are usually around 5.5 to 6.5 feet tall but this can vary as the Drao are very diverse. They have three skin types, a pale white, a light blue or a light purple. In the past this was a reason for prejudice and racism amongst the Drao as the pale white colour was rare (found in only 20% of all Drao). The Drao can naturally have most hair colours except pure white or orange at birth. They have fangs that can extend from the gums which they use too drink from and tear up meat. They are in general faster and stronger than Krolm's but they do not possess super speed or super stregnth. The females are stronger and faster than the males of the species and are naturally born much more often (85:15 ratio of females to males). Due to this the Drao have seen Matriarchal societies since the very first civilisations on the planet. Drao are naturally aggressive and confrontational, they also have little regard for lesser life than there own as they believe they are superior to most life.

Krolm are reptilian humanoids. The Krolm are usually 5 to 6 feet tall and are very rarely taller or shorter. They can live on meat like the Drao but also vegetables and plants which come in abundance on Testros. They can be born with dark green, light green and brown scales. They do not grow hair. Krolm are most of the time Weaker and slower than Drao. When the Drao and Krolm joined together, the Krolm were given injections that cut down male birth rates to the same as Drao birth rates (85:15 Female to Male) and they integrated into the Matriarchal society. The Krolm or Draon are usually less aggressive and more likely to try and find peaceful methods of ending conflict than the Drao. They possess the red blood that the Drao crave and need.

HISTORY:
The history of the people of Draon is measured with the dating system that used BU and AU ( Before and after unification). Both of the species evolved around the same time, 3000 BU give or take a few years. One the western continent Testros the Krolm evolved by themselves and created there own great nations. On the eastern continent Alora, the Drao evolved with the Krolm and became the predators of the land. They never formed into one great nation and instead over hundreds of years formed into tribes of nomads. By the year 2000 BU Krolm on Alora were treated as animals and were mostly domesticated or killed as food. The Drao formed a religon and worshipped the godess Lilith who left her teachings behind in a holy book. Most tribes who didnt follow the religon were killed off by the tribes who did as the holy book preached that all Drao should be together as one great species. The holy book also taught that Krolm were simply a food source to the Drao and should be treated as such. The Drao on Alora formed one great nation whose name shall not be spoken of any more.

800 years passed and the Krolm on Testros were flourishing. They had built great cities and cultures and were thriving greatly. Technology was at the level of the dark ages and wasnt held back by religon. On Alora, it was a very different story. Due to the harsh treatment of Krolm and reckless killing the Drao population was starving. They needed more Krolm. In the year 1200 BU, the Drao first embarked from Alora in search of more food.

First contact between the Krolm of Testros and the Drao was in 1189 BU. The only fifty boats in the world pulled onto the shores of the great western continent and met the great Krolm of Testros. The Drao were scared by such a unified and advanced Krolm that they fleed at the first sign of aggression and went home to alert the queen at the time, Queen Nyx. They arrived in 1187 BU and brought with them news of a new abundance of food, but also a great threat to the Drao. Almost immediately war was declared and the process of building ships begun. They built ships, weapons and armour for 20 years until every able woman that could fit on the boats was on the boats. The year they pulled up on Testros shores for the second time was 1165 BU and this sparked the beggining of the Religous wars.

These wars were bloody and brutal and lasted for 1165 years. Technology advanced too the level of earths technology in 2016 (excluding nuclear weapons) in the year 200 BU. The last 200 years of the war were the bloodiest. Both species were killing eachother off and it looked like the war end with no winners. This all changed in 3 BU. Some people say it was the second coming of Lilith, which is the most accepted theory. Others say it was a Drao posing as her, trying to end the war which had raged far too long. Despite divided opinion everyone agrees that this is what ended the war. Lilith returned to the planet, to her people, and preached peace and equality. It was an uneasy alliance, but the Drao and Krolm could not say no to god. The Drao had allways worshipped Lilith and now their faith was stronger. The Krolm had been close to collapse, and thanks to this god or whatever she was, had survived. The Krolm joined the church of Lilith and worshipped her too. This was in the year 0 BU, or 2500.

Three years passed and the Krolm and Drao had not fought since. There was still tension and hatred between the two but they learned to cooperate, for Lilith and for the planet. They rebuilt together and soon learned that allthough they would both do well on their own, they worked better together. Mixed Krolm and Drao society advanced further than both peoples ever thought possible. In the next 400 years they lived together. Laws dicated that both races were equal, although obviously there were some differences. Krolm were required to give blood every three days to sustain the Drao. Krolm male birth rates were cut down so that they could properly fit within the Drao society, and while this caused tensions to rise, any resistance was quelled the Krolm accepted it. When a drao commits a crime, they are imprisoned or killed. When a Krolm commits a crime, they are imprisoned or put into slavery. The world is under the rule of Queen Emith in modern day. A fair but strong ruler. Now the year is 400 AU or 2900, and the people of Draon want expand.

Josh had just slipped down the wall when he heard an unfamiliar voice calling out to him. He panicked, jumped up and pulled out his gun. He raised it infront of him, before he realised that was not where the voice had come from. He turned to his side and pointed it straight at the guy who's face couldn't be seen. He didn't look very hostile, certainly not infected, and he didn't have a gun. His voice was more concerned than aggressive and so Josh gulped and lowered his weapon a little, but not all the way, in an attempt to seem like less of an asshole. "No, no. I'm not. Are you?" He asked, looking the guy over. His sword was sharp and he had no doubt it would cut through him if it came to that, so he hoped it wouldn't. "I really don't want to fight today, okay?" He said again, before the boy could answer him. "I really don't".

Zoey was expecting and definately wanted him too turn around and speak too her. That was why she spoke, so she could get his attention and make some new freinds, or not. Either way she would be better off in the world. She could either befreind him and gain a useful ally, an army man. Or, she could kill him and take his supplies. Either way she would have a better chance of survival in the city, and a better chance of finding her brother. When he did turn around, she wasnt expecting such an aggressive reaction. She had only been polite. The army man raised his weapon at her, a rifle, and said something in what might as well have been an alien language to her. She sometimes forgot that she wasnt at home. She stopped walking and gripped her machete a little tighter, a frown appearing on her beautiful face. Her light brown eyes scanned over him for anything else, any more weapons as she shrugged calmly. "Sorry mate, I dont speak that. English, please?" She shouted so he could hear her, but not loud enough to attract the infected. She then smiled at him almost as an act of freindliness. If she wanted to kill him she could have taken out her hunting rifle and shot him in the back, and that would have been easy enough. Just as she opened her mouth to speak, the sound of another boy came from behind her.

She quickly turned on her heels towards the new voice, looking at the boy who was half in half out from behind a corner. He looked her age, if not a year or two older. He looked cautious but not dangerous, and he hadnt got a gun out too her. Also, he was from Britain, which was always a welcome positive. "Amazing, amazing! I havent met anybody from home in a few... years". She said the last part quite oddly, sad but with a hint of sarcasm. She turned to the army man and then pointed to the other boy. "Look, this man has manners! He isnt pointing-" She stopped herself here, as she was about to say weapon. "A... gun, at me! She stood back a few paces towards the canal so that she could see both of them without having to turn. The canal boat was getting dangerously close now, and the shouting from inside becoming audible again. God, she should of just killed him. Or stuffed his mouth again, either would have worked.

Humans are most of the time Weaker and slower than Drao.
