@littleone - No. The world would not be better off without you. Those who know you will greatly miss you. Hang in there. Sometimes it might not seem like it but you mean a lot to those who love you.

I'm in the process of moving so I'm currently a bit CrAzY at the second. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal reply schedule soon (after the move and the insanity of getting basic unpacking done)

Ah yes. She did get a bit crazy near the end. Completely psycho. But then again, she never expected Ty Lee or Mai to betray her.

No. Not tea parties. Let's see.... something with a lot of people and in Britain. I got to remember it isn't the Victorian age either.
(Scrooge's nephew's party comes to mind. :) )

That works. Yeah making an OC fit a certain fandom can be difficult.
Though I find sometimes the opposite. OCs I can completely make up and give them their own personalities. Canon has to stick to a predetermined disposition and character. Sometimes a it harder to do. At least for me.
But then again, sometimes Canon are so much funner.
But on the idea of Picard, Riker and Doctor Who - Look at Me
Yes. You needed season 1 to introduce the characters and get the story rolling. However, Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai coming in sure picked up the pace. Now, we not only have to train but we have to avoid getting killed by Azula. :)

Oh blast. I keep forgetting that ten years ago was 2004. Let's see. Summer is about 25 (a.k.a born in 1989) therefore, we have to be in the 80s.
Wow, time has flown by. :)

Drink tea and talk like civilized individuals.... :)

No takers??? Really? How about non-canon. Not doing the U.S.S. Enterprise but another ship. Possibly the first to explore the next galaxy. :)

There he was. Standing by an old police box. She smiled at the irony. Her smile flickered to confusion as he stated this was his ship. "Is this a joke?" She inquired giving a nervous smile. She was a police officer and here he was with an old police box from the sixties. However, he had already gone inside, leaving the door open for her to follow. She shook her head. There was no way that could be his ship. He had to pulling her leg. She waited a second to see if he would reappear. When he didn't she shook her head and moved forward. "Alright, I fell for your...." Her sentence stopped as she entered the box. Instead of a small room that had once been used to lock up individuals until the police arrived, there was a specious room with steps going off into different areas and a large console in the middle of the room. "No, no, no." She said shaking her head and quickly exiting.

Going around the box, she looked at the seemingly small outside. There was no way that room could have fit within this little box. Little did she know, her reaction was normal and had been duplicated by many individuals throughout the Doctor's lifetime. Shaking her head, she re-entered the TARDIS. "This can't be real." She stated shaking her head. "An illusion?" The Doctor just grinned at her, waiting. As if he expected her to say something else. She looked around the TARDIS and then glanced back out. Finally, turning her attention back to him, she smiled and shook her head. "It's impossible. It's bigger on the inside." That apparently set him off. As if he had been expecting her to say that.

When he finally calmed down and explained that his ship was a time traveling space ship, she just stared at him. Time travel. Spaceship. If he had told her this yesterday she probably wouldn't have believed him. But now, seeing alien rhino men who can talk, going to the moon, seeing a plasmavore, finding an old police box is larger on the inside, it wasn't hard to continue with the leap and believe him. "A time machine." She nodded and touched the edge. "Can travel anywhere?" He nodded. She looked at him. "So what's that make you? Doctor Time Traveler?" She almost laughed at his response. "Time Lord?" He was egotistic. Her grin faded and she looked at him. He had a nice life. Traveling through time and space. Going anywhere he desired. Must be nice.

Her smile faded. "Well, I just wanted to thank you. Heard that you got me out of there and to a paramedic before the lack of oxygen did to serious of damage." She told him. "Thanks." She bit her lip and glanced around once more. "Well, I better let you go." She stated looking back at him. "You probably have so many places to go, people to see." She paused. "Though, it is curious that you showed up around the time the alien rhinos did. Do you do that often?" She asked. "Go after trouble?" She smiled at his response. Made sense. "Well, thanks again." His call, stopped her. Turning she looked at him wondering what he needed. Part of her dared to hope that he would ask her to come with him. Though he had made a mention of it earlier, she didn't know if he had been serious or not.

Honestly, she didn't know why she wanted to run off with some strange man. Sure he might be a bit attractive but that wouldn't be the reason. No. The ability to see other things, to go places no human had ever been before, to help stop criminals like the plasmavore. But also, part of it was to get out of London. Having grown up in the area, and then locked in with the police, which she enjoyed, it would be nice to actually just leave for some time. Go elsewhere. Get out of the city of her birth. But no. He probably wouldn't ask her. There was no reason for someone like him to take a human like her. And there was no way she was going to beg.

The Doctor stopped, letting the children go on ahead and looked at Clara. "Any moment now." He told her, knowing she would be able to handle it. He looked at Mr. Latimer. "You should go in the kitchen with your children as well." He stated matter-of-fact. Before the man could reply Clara called out for him. Turning, the Doctor looked at the window. "Ah, there they are. I was wondering how long it would be before they showed up." He looked back at the man. "Now I insist you go to the kitchen." He stated going over to the front door. Undoubtedly, Vastra and the others were already on their way. Opening the door, he smiled at their startled faces.

"How did... We haven't even rang the bell, sir." Strax stated surprised he was standing there.

Vastra just smiled. "I knew you would get involved." She stated. She raised her eyebrows at Clara. "So, you have a new companion." She stated.

"Yes. Clara this is Vastra. Vastra this is Clara." He stated hurrying them in and closing the door.

"I say sir..." Mr. Latimer stopped upon seeing Vastra.

"Hello. I'm a wizard woman from the dawn of time, this is my associate Jenny and our butler Strax." She stated calmly. The man's jaw dropped.

"Should I obliterate him, Madam?" Strax inquired.

"What? No." The Doctor stated cutting in. "Though do get him in the kitchen. Does anyone have a force field?" He inquired. "Because now is the time to use it." He said nodding toward the stairs. The ice governess was now exiting the room and headed their way, screaming at them.

Jenny tossed a small forcefield at the base of the stairs, quickly trapping the woman. While she did that Strax ushered a bewildered Latimer and Alice into the kitchen. The Doctor turned and smiled at Clara. “Having fun yet?” He asked as the ice lady banged on the forcefield.
Trex just shook his head. They did have a point. The cheater had been ousted and justice had been served. "Just finish you food." He replied, though there was a tent of humor in his voice. So he had been a bit cranky earlier. Maybe, too much. Though he would never admit it, the rest had done him some good. Even the little time would help him get through the rest of the day. Finishing, he rose to stretch his legs.

The lunch hour flew by quickly. Shortly before one all the celestial wizards still left in the competition lined up, waiting for the curator. Amber held her rolled scroll and glanced at Flynn. "This was surprisingly easy." She told him. "Though, I'm sure he'll be looking for some keywords or something." She shrugged. "I just stated my reason and left it at that."

The front door opened and the servant exited. "I will collect your writing samples for the curator." He informed them. Coming by, he took each one and then headed back inside.

"So I guess we can go wait now." Amber stated glancing at Flynn.

"Let me guess, you two probably put something like 'I love spirits' or 'I can help people'." Maria stated coming over. She smirked. "So wishy washy. Putting down what you know they want you to hear." She stated.

"What did you say?" Amber inquired, curious. Technically, there was no reason they couldn't tell each other. Especially as they couldn't really change it anyway."

Maria smiled. "Power. I want the key for power." She shrugged. "Honestly, that's what most people want. Even if you use up flowery words, you still want power."

A couple other wizards looked at her. "She's probably not going to get it." One snickered to another.

Maria shrugged. "At least I was honest. Undoubtedly the paper has some sort of magic to it that will tell if you are honest or not. He did it with the rocks, why wouldn't he do it with the paper?" Turning, she walked off.

Amber shrugged. "She's got a point. But good news was, I was honest." She looked at Flynn. "And I know you were." She said nudging him.
last time I admitted to anything you quoted it. And though you probably will still quote me to say whatever, I shall not give you the opportunity to quote my exact wordings. :)

Besides, who says Trex is even into "cute" things.

Update: I'm working on a reply now.
I'm also thinking on how to get Flynn in 'trouble' with the law.
That's what Tye was sent to do. Get it set up. Maybe hire someone to say one thing or other.

Speaking of which - do you remember if I ever mentioned what her power was?
(other than manipulation)
I was going to ask who Frosch is - it's a good thing you stated that. When I was looking for Exceed pictures I saw his but I didn't investigate.
Cutest Exceed? What? Where did you get that idea?

- But that works. That way I can always use those for something down the road.
Got a few ideas for down the road we can incorporate. I also have two characters (Mirror wizard and an Exceed) no longer being used that might make an appearance way down the road. :)
Excuses. Excuses. ;)

We could be secret arch enemies pretending to get along but in reality planning a war that will devastate all of time and space.
Or we could be friends... The question is will we find out? Mwuahaaahaa! ...err. I mean - no evil.

Yeah I still wonder what happened to Zuko's mom. I think they made a comic to find out but I never read it so still unsure. But it was excellent. The filler added some additional life to the show. Unless it was too bad. Season 1 was not as good as season 2 or 3. :)

Pay? No. I don't need to. They love me. *nods*

ghosts...Nazis...:D

Uh actually just some games of that century. Not sure what exactly they did in that era. Maybe something where you get to know each other or blind man's bluff, etc... IDK.
Have any ideas?

So - on your Star Trek - any takers yet?
Excuses. Excuses. ;)

Did you grill it on an actual grill? That is key to cooking steak. *nods*

Mwuuahahahahaa! Wait... I didn't mean I was going to eat you *whistles innocently* That is cannibalism. Frowned down in many societies. *nods*
We might have an alliance. Or we might just have a mutual destruction agreement. Or we might not even be talking to each other. Let me look at my foreign policies list again and get back to you.

that might be handy. "Black Ninja is extremely busy", "Black Ninja is about to die from overload" - got it. :)
Let's hope they reintroduce it. It makes putting up a note in your sig obsolete. :)

O_o I was going to say. ATLA was awesome. Not sure why you didn't like it. But LOK - alright. That works. Season 2 was alright. I felt like they did a lot more rushing on LOK then ATLA. Sure they cut out some filler episodes but honestly - the end of both seasons (especially the first) was rushed.
But the music of ATLA is awesome - especially season 1 Zuko vs. Aang or Zuko vs. the Admiral.
Loved the music!

Yeah a lot of the new stuff is just not as good as some of the "classics". Some of it is alright but some of it is just weird.

*nods* Mind control is something else entirely. I employ excellent methods to keep my minions in line. Though in actuality, my minions love me and I don't think it's due to mind control. But then again...it might.

American Horror story? No. Surprisingly, I'm not a big fan of horror. But then again, I haven't seen a lot so ehh. Not sure.

Water? I should have. Oh well. Problem was I would have to run to the kitchen and back and that might risk getting caught. No but it was awesome. He just couldn't figure it out. I never did tell him where I was hiding.... :)

- I'm off. I'll probably be on sometime tomorrow. Have a good rest of the evening and avoid ruining any more decent steaks. ;)
Universe 1:

The Doctor smiled as she talked about humans drunk on the idea of love. That they were. Everyone was obsessed with love. Most with the love of themselves, but some with the love for others. The question is, what kind of love was their idea? The Greeks had different words for love. Eros, Agape, Philia and Storge. Each one discussed a different aspect: spiritual, physical, mental and family affection. But now, most people looped everything under the title of love. From I love my dog and I love my parents to romantic feelings. The irony that the day was Valentine's Day did not escape him.

He glanced over at Jen as she suggested somewhere else. He grinned as he got the idea of where to go. It was peaceful, beautiful and it might help her broken heart. Not to mention that the solitude and serenity of the place might give her some ideas to continue writing. As they walked away from the park, the Doctor mentally marked which trash can she had tossed her book in. Though she might not want it now, there might come a day where she might actually want to go back and read it. Not to bring up old memories but just to reflect on what might have been. Either way, he would get it sometime in the future. Of course he would never open it, but at least it would be there if she ever wished to have it again.

Once inside the TARDIS, the Doctor looked over at her seriously. "Let's leave this Valentine's Day behind." He told her flipping a few switches and activating the TARDIS. His destination was Alterous Nine. Twin worlds orbited each other as they circled a G-class star. Though one of the planets was habitable the other one was not. And as the inhabitants of the system were still in the bronze age, there was no worry of traffic or tourism. At least not yet. He had gone far into the future and both worlds had been quickly populated. No. This was the best time to go. No buildings, no shops, and no one to bother them. He tried to remember the last time he had gone. It had been some time. Long before the war. Before the universe was thrown into chaos. Ah yes, he had gone on his fourth regeneration. He had taken his companion there to give them a bit of R&R after a hectic life and death experience. It was a nice place to visit.

Flipping a switch, he waited brought the TARDIS into real space again. As it materialized on the planet he grinned at Jen. "You'll love this place." He told her going over to the door. "And don't worry. No one to bother you with Valentine's treats." He declared, a wide smirk on his face. Stepping out of the TARDIS, he breathed in the clean, fresh air. Grass grew in all directions and the other planet was clearly visible in the sky. Some clouds blocked part of it, only adding to its beauty. At her gasp, he looked at Jen, happy to see that this place pleased her. "And no one to bother us." He informed her.

Walking along, his hands in his jacket, he watched as Jen surveyed the planet. There wasn't much trees in the area they landed but there was a lot of grass. A wild beast, similar to antelope back on earth, could be seen in the distance. Spotting them, it bounded away not used to strangers in its world. It was so serene. Peaceful. When was the last time that he had actually gone to a place just for some peace and quiet? Not in a long time. He was a man of action. A man constantly on the move. Besides, he had seen it all. Well, almost. Sometimes one did not fully appreciate the beauty unless there was someone else seeing it for the first time. That was why the Doctor had a companion. Well, that and he didn't like traveling alone. But having a companion always gave him a fresh look at things. Jen's appreciation and exclamation of the planet's beauty helped him it in a new light. Not just another planet, not just another location, but a place of beauty.

Walking along, it brought back memories of Gallifrey. Of the bright red grass. The orange sky. It had been a wondrous place before the Time War. Not that he stuck around there much. He was an adventurer. He had to travel. But he had always expected it to be there when he returned. He never dreamed that it would be destroyed.
Pushing the thoughts aside, he looked over at Jen. "So, was this a good idea or would you rather see the moons of Neptune?" He inquired.

After informing her mother that they were coming, which of course, Summer let the Doctor do it. She was still a bit shy on speaking to her parents. She did know she would have to eventually get the nerve, especially as she would be at the party and there would undoubtedly be questions. For a second she worried on what they would ask. Would they want to know where she was from? Who her parents were? Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself. No reason to worry about that now. They would figure something out if it arose. She followed the the Doctor back to the TARDIS to get some rest before the next day. In the room the Doctor had given her, Summer pulled out the photo of her parents. It was the only one she had left and was taken when she was seven. She smiled as she looked at the picture. No matter what happened tomorrow, at least she would get some more time with her parents. She would learn more about them. It was only a shame that they would never get to see how she turned out. She wondered how they would feel about her current life. Realizing that the next day was going to be a long one, she set the photo aside and went to bed.

The next day, Summer took extra care in choosing the right outfit for the time period before coming out. Though they wouldn't know who she was, she still wanted to make a good impression. As the party was latter in the day, Summer found she had plenty of time to kill. Going off alone, she walked along the quite streets remembering. Most people were either at home or church so she didn't have much to worry about on crowds. Thankfully, less people were about back in this era then in her time. She disliked crowds and could never understand why everyone had to be out and about on the holidays. As the sun started to slowly descend, Summer made her way back to the TARDIS. Meeting up with the Doctor, she smiled as she saw the wine battle. "Good choice. Dad was always a fan of some of the good wine." She informed him before growing silent. The walk over was a bit quiet with only a few words exchanged. As they approached the house, the Doctor informed her that he had a good feeling. That was good to know. She had begin to feel a bit of nerves but his confidence helped.

Knocking the door opened. Keeping any surprise or recognition from her face, Summer gave a small smile to the man who was undoubtedly her father. eyes lighting up briefly upon receiving the bottle of wine, the man nodded toward the living room where a few people had already started to gather. Closing the door, he quickly disappeared into the kitchen, undoubtedly putting the wine away. Going into the living room, Summer smiled nervously at all the people, forcing herself not to run and hide. Sitting down, she was surprised that Mabel came over to talk to them. Chatting away, Summer hid a smile. Yes, like father, like daughter. Her father hated parties a lot more than she did but he still put up with them because of his wife. Coming back into the living room, he sat stiffly, though his eyes lit up with affection, whenever he glanced at Mabel.

Realizing that Mabel was still talking, Summer quickly turned her attention back to here the two of them talk about some of the sights. After a few moments of conversation, which was mainly between the Doctor and Mabel, the Doctor excused himself and went to talk to a few other people. That left Summer there with the woman who would one day be here mother.

"I'm sorry, Summer" Mabel said apologetic, having already been introduced earlier in the conversation. "But you look a bit familiar. Have we met before?" She inquired.

Caught of guard a second, Summer shook her head. "No. You've never met me before." She replied honestly. Technically, her mother had yet to meet her as she had yet to be born.

Mabel nodded a bit puzzled at why Summer looked familiar but she quickly brushed it off with a smile. "So, is he your boyfriend?" She asked nodding toward the Doctor.

Summer blushed and shook her head. "No. Just a friend." She replied. "We meet some time back and are just traveling together at the moment. Nothing serious though." She stated.

Mabel just smiled. "But you like him?" She asked. Summer was saved from answering when someone announced it was time for games. Mabel winked and said something about later, before dragging Summer over to participate in a round of games. Finding herself next to the Doctor, Summer shook her head at his grin. He was having way to much fun with this.
