@littleone - No. The world would not be better off without you. Those who know you will greatly miss you. Hang in there. Sometimes it might not seem like it but you mean a lot to those who love you.

I'm in the process of moving so I'm currently a bit CrAzY at the second. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal reply schedule soon (after the move and the insanity of getting basic unpacking done)

Me? Love business
Maybe just a little
But yes. I was trying to sell paper items to my family when I was five. I wanted to go door to door but my mom said no (Thankfully... the products were a bit sad...)
Business is fun for me. But I know many people who should not do business and should stick at what they do best. I have an artist friend whose drawings are pretty cool. She hates numbers and will never go into business. However, her talent is art she should stick to it. It would be a waste for her to go elsewhere. Just like it would be a waste for me to go into the art program. :)

Yeah, some parents can be overbearing. However, some can be to loose. I've seen some kids without any discipline and it isn't pretty. It's a balance. Hopefully if I ever have any I will find that balance.

No more math???? Ever??? WHY?
Math is so awesome. You shouldn't stop. Keep going. ;)

Yeah...A job, internship, classes, and everything else... Good news is only ten or so weeks and then school will be finished, my one job over (which is actually a big bummer) and possibly a full time position with the company I'm interning at. We'll see. But it is busy. So far I've managed to handle it. We'll see...

No rush. I'm not sure I'll have a response up until Friday/Saturday so don't feel like you need to get it out on my account.
And that's when having a teacher to help is good. Yeah, trying to help someone when you aren't so sure is a bit difficult. You don't want to accidentally lead another student astray.

That's a bummer. I don't know. I understand some parents want their children to be "successful" or do things that they had wanted to do. But honestly, if I was a parent, sure I would want my kids to go into business (it's the best field. ) but not everyone is cut out for it. And sometimes you got to let someone do the career they want to do (especially as they are adults). However, if I'm paying I do expect that you aren't just blowing your classes, taking whatever is easiest and switching degrees every three semesters.
I'm glad my Mom doesn't push me. Then again, everyone in my family knew I was going into business since I was young. So...not sure the best example.

I hate that. You think you did well and then it turns out so differently. Well I hope you did well. Got to keep that bar high :D
Does that mean school is now settling down again, at least for a few more weeks?

Work hasn't killed me...yet.
Actually it isn't bad. I'm glad I have the internship and I'm learning some awesome stuff. However, it is different then my University job or my classes. I have several projects running right now and my boss wants me to quickly wrap one up so I can start another. It's different but good. I'm glad I have it and the experience is great
Trex nodded. Skye didn't talk much about her past and the only reason she did was because they practically pulled it out of her. It must have been hard growing up in a place where survival was everything and you didn't know who you could trust. It made his life seem so simple, so perfect. "You're probably right." He conceded. "We don't need to know now, even if we get attacked. We'll probably figure it out. Though it would be nice to know for planning sake, it would be better to wait until she is ready." He looked ahead.

It was going to be a long trip to the Capitol. Even if they had faster horses it would still take a day or two. He glanced at Zelia when she asked what he thought was in it. "I don't know. Maybe some rare gem or lacrima." He glanced ahead as they exited the town. "Maybe the deed of an important property." He shook his head. "Or it could be something some other wizard is after and they want to keep it safe. I'm not sure if this is going to be an easy quest or going to head terribly wrong." He glanced sideways at her. "What do you think it is?" His eyes twinkled. "Perhaps we should see how many items we could guess before we get bored, or run out." It would be something to pass the time. As they shot ideas back and forth and laughed at one absurd one, he leaned back content. Zelia was a good friend. He was glad he had teamed up with her way back when.

When he had first joined the guild his intent was to get as powerful as quickly as he could. He didn't spend a lot of time socializing and he rarely talked to anyone else, especially a girl. Having grown up with several brothers and no sisters on a farm where the closest neighbor was some distance away, he really hadn't had a lot of female contact outside of his mother. The only exception was the Kolin twins from two farms away. Both girls were so giddy and annoying, he couldn't stand them. They barely did any work, not even helping their mother out. The day he met Zelia and teamed up with her was a day he wouldn't forget. Still closed, he performed like the gentleman his mother raised and agreed to do a job with her. At first it was more out of necessity and duty that he worked with her but during that quest he found she was not like most girls he knew. Sure there were many female wizards in Fairy Tail but he never really went on a quest with them. It wasn't until later he found that most of Fairy Tail wizards, no matter the gender, were not at all like the lazy Kolin twins. The dedication and determination that Zelia put into the quest started the hint of respect he had for her, not because he had to, but because of her skills. They had been inseparable since, doing almost all their quests together. And now look at them, comfortable in each others presence and able to know what the other was thinking in battle. They made a good team.

Taking the package, Skye cast an cloaking spell to make the package invisible to all but the four of them. Then, stepping on one of the benches she stretched toward the top of the wagon. Wedging the book in between a few boards and out of sight she stepped back down. "Most people look in the floorboards or benches." She explained. "That should be good for short notice in case anything happens." In a wagon this type nothing was completely safe. Robbers or thieves could just tear the place apart. However, this would buy them time until one of them could come back. Sitting down, she toyed with the thin silver belt that held her outer skirt on. It really wasn't a skirt as it didn't come all the way around and she was wearing pants. But she didn't know what else to call it having picked it up the first week upon entering Fiore. She shrugged trying to think of a game idea they could do.

It seemed strange to play a game, as it was rare that she did it. She really hadn't had much time since coming to Fiore to play games. Even back in Caelum more time was spent trying to survive then having fun. But they still had games. Some of them revolved around what-ifs. What if you were in such and such place? Or what if you were someone else? But neither game seemed appropriate. They could be somewhat revealing about oneself, ones dreams and passions. Unless of course the individual was really good at just making it a joke. She had done it in the past but she didn't feel comfortable trying it now. Though she felt she was almost part of the team, there was still much she preferred to keep closed. Besides, they all probably were living their dreams or had better games. Flynn would probably just laugh at some of her ideas. So with those games out, that just left one: Pai Sho. Lucky for them, she had the tiles and chalk to create the board. Normally they would just use dirt but inside the wagon they didn't have dirt to draw in. "We can play Pai Sho." She offered tentatively. "Do you know how to play?" For all she knew, they considered it a child's game here. If he even knew what the game was. In the short time she had been in Fiore, she hadn't seen much of it . But then again, she hadn't really hung out in areas where the games were. Hesitantly, she pulled her bag over and got out the tiles and chalk. "I can teach you if you are game." She stated.
Trex nodded, his jaw tightening. He really hated that guy. A man who treated his animals that way should never be allowed to own them. It was as if he thought starving them would be more beneficial to his cause then giving them at least a decent meal and a bit of kindness, now and then. Logically speaking, it was insane to treat the horses harshly. The sicker they were, the less people would want to rent them. And seeing that they were in town, it wasn't as if the man used the animals for many other things. He shook his head. One day he was going to purchase them from the man and take them back to his family's farm. There they would be treated right and would soon get back to healthy animals, assuming of course they didn't die between now and then. Realizing that the others were already ready for him, he tossed his bag in and climbed up beside Zelia. He was grateful that she dealt with the man as he would have a big urge to pound him into the ground. After an incident where he had almost broken the man's arm, there had been an unspoken agreement that Zelia would do most of the content with him. For some reason, she was better able to control herself when it came to something like this, then he was.

It probably had to do with the fact that he had grown up on a farm. From as young as he could remember, his parents and older brothers taught him that animals were to be treated gently and kindly. It was a mutual benefit. You cared for the animals and gave them what they needed and they would assist you on what you needed. Sure, some animals were eaten but you still treated them right. "We are stewards, Trex." His father used to say. "We must take care of what we have been blessed with." Trex agreed. The fact that anyone would treat animals as poorly as the man did disgusted him and went against everything he had learned.

Picking up the reins he nudged the horses forward. So until he could buy them, he was going to continue to rent them, being extra gentle with them even though it always took longer with these horses then any other. "So Flynn got acquitted." He stated. "I thought the guy had several witnesses." He declared. "How come they let him off while they checked his alibis? Especially considering he's allowed to leave town." It didn't make sense to him. However, as Zelia explained what happened it slowly did. The others didn't have much to stand on and the judge knew it. The fact that they could not answer a simple question tossed the man's case out the window. "I wonder who cast the spell." He stated as Zelia voiced her suspicion that it was Ryzo and the others. "The tall man is a telaporter, the one girl is a celestial, the other is almost like Fried but uses a book. I have no idea what Ryzo's or Tye's magic is but one of them has to be an individual who can cast that spell. Unless of course the celestial has a spirit who can do that or the book girl has that ability." He shook his head. "Though, that doesn't make sense. Hold up a second." He stated pausing the wagon in front of the pickup point.

Going inside he quickly picked up the package from a servant who first verified his guild tattoo. Once satisfied the man gave him the package. "Deliver it safely to the address written on top. Nothing must happen to it, including damages, if you want to get paid. Anything happens and you will be held responsible." Trex nodded. However, when he inquired what was in it, the servant glared at him and told him to just do his job.

Coming back outside, Trex handed the package to Flynn and Skye before getting back in the front. "It doesn't make sense," He restated going back to where he left off. "For her to do that with a book. I don't think even Fried would have been able to do that." He declared. "Remind me to check with Skye and see what powers Ryzo and Tye have. She was with them for some time so she would know." Though he hated to put her through that. Those were not good times for her and whatever had happened between her and the others had left some wounds. Did it have anything to do with the name Diego? He remembered Tye mentioning someone named that when they first meet her. He shook his head. It didn't matter. He wasn't going to ask. She'll tell them when she was ready. If not, he could always get Zelia to do it. She was better on that then him. But then again, he wasn't much when it came to that kind of conversation. "Maybe you should check with her." He stated. "Might go smoother. Besides, you guys are sharing an apartment. You probably have a better connection then I do."
Turning to leave, Trex was surprised as the trio entered the guild. "Hey!" He exclaimed as they headed his way. Looking them over, he smiled. It had to be good news. They all seemed a bit happy and Flynn was there so the charges must have been dropped. He frowned when Zelia stated she was worried he didn't get back. "Just dropping off the keys, explaining everything to the Master and well..." He shrugged. "Apparently the trial was faster then I thought." He nudged Flynn. "Though I'm glad you were acquitted. You were acquitted right?" He asked frowning. When Flynn assured him that he was good to leave, Trex relaxed. Good. Everything worked out. He watched as Flynn walked off and turned to the other two. "Well that was good." He declared.

He frowned as Zelia snatched the paper from him. "You can ask you know." He informed her though there was a twinkle in his eye.

Skye glanced over Zelia's shoulder, reading what was posted on the paper. That was a lot of money for transporting one package. What was in the package and why was someone paying a ridiculous price to send it to the Capitol? She nodded as Zelia discussed how they could pull it off. She could do that. Though, the journey was fairly long she didn't doubt she could maintain the illusion on an item that small. A small smile unknowingly crept on her face. She would actually get to be a bit useful on this quest. It wasn't often that illusion magic was required though she had used it in fighting before. The battle with the evil sisters came to mind as she remembered how she had hidden herself and attacked. Her hand going down to her stomach she remembered the wound, even though not a scare remained. That still boggled her. Sure the girl might have felt guilty but to heal an enemy? It was insane. Turning her attention back she watched as Flynn came back up. "I'm glad they let you off." She told him, a bit shy, as he came up beside her. It had been some time since she felt this type of connection with others. In some ways, it was better then her old gang as she knew that no matter what they had her back.

Trex nodded to Flynn. "Yes. Seems an easy job. We'll rent a cart, pick up the package and head to the Capitol. Your job is to ensure no one bothers Skye as she keeps an illusion on the book." He ordered. "Zelia and I will ride outside and try to detour any trouble." He stated. "This job seems almost to good to be true so stay sharp." He ordered. He nodded at Flynn. "Glad to have you back on board. Let's go."
That it is. Tutoring someone in a class you have already completed enables you to better assist them. However, I've been in several classes where sometimes helping each other out can get you past that little block that is stopping you from your homework. Combined with the fact that many students are afraid to talk to their instructors (no idea why - I was constantly bugging my math teachers), it works.

True. Many jobs just require a bachelors in something. Once you have a degree they will hire you. But yeah - if one can, one should follow what they enjoy to do. Making extra money on something you despise doing is not worth it. There are only so many days in a lifetime. Why ruin them? But then again, one does need to make money to survive and sadly some jobs just aren't profitable. :(

Yup. Posted. I'm glad it worked with you. I was hammering it out yesterday trying to get it finished.
Mister sassy pants? Him? Noooooo.
That works. As for Ten/Summer - I have no problems with that plan.

How did your midterm go?
"We are not under a spell!" The old man replied angrily. He looked at the judge. "So, he can't remember the spirit. He was too busy trying to survive. Trauma can do a lot to a person." He pointed to the other two witnesses. "What about their testimony. And my assistant? How did he get attacked?"

The judge gave a slight nod. "Very well." He looked at the two. "Did either one of you see this spirit. If so, what did it look like?"

The other two witnesses exchanged looks. Shaking their heads, neither could verify what the spirit looked like. Though the old man claimed it could be to the fact that the soldier had chased Flynn while the other two had not, even he had some confusion on his face. As if, he too believed what he was saying even though some of it made no sense. "He had to have done it." He muttered, more to himself then to the court.

The judge shook his head and then looked at Flynn. "Very interesting hypothesis, young man." He declared. "And though the guard's testimony is questionable, the others might not have seen the spirit. However," He inclined his head slightly. "I have a feeling that you are innocent. I will have several guards investigate your alibis and if they hold true then you will be acquitted of all charges." He nodded to the guards standing by Flynn and they stepped aside. "As I know wizards have to earn a living as well, you are free to go during this investigation. However, sometime in the next week or the week after you must report back here to see how your alibis held out. If you fail to appear I will go to your Guild Master and have him track you down." He gave a small smile. "And I believe Master Makarov will be a lot more harsh then this court." He pounded the gavel. "Case adjourned."

One of the guards standing by Flynn got a list of the names of Flynn's alibis before he and the other guard moved away. Flynn's accusers just stood there still not comprehending what had happened. To them, even though they believed he was guilty, there were to many holes in their logic. It didn't make sense. Leaving him alone they watched as he passed by, not saying anything just shaking their heads in bewilderment.

When Zelia confirmed her suspicion, Skye glanced away. It was as she feared. However, there was nothing she could do about it. She couldn't even confirm it to Zelia and the others. Thankfully, Zelia moved on and the trail continued. When Flynn was acquitted, Skye smiled. Rising, she followed Zelia as they congratulated Flynn. When it was suggested that they go find Trex and see if he made it safely, Skye paused and took one more look at the still confused accusers and watched as they were escorted out so the next case could begin. Undoubtedly they would never understand what happened. No loose ends were allowed. She shook her head and turned her focus back to the others. It was wrong but there was nothing she could do. If her magic was different maybe, but no. The good news is, though they might not understand it, they would just put it down as a fluke or something or trauma and move on. They would never understand the depth of what had happened. And in a way, that was probably better. Quickly moving, she caught up to the others and fell in beside them.

Back at the Fairy Tail guild, and the keys safely in the Master's hands, Trex expressed his thanks once more to Petro and then turned to the master. He had already been informed on what had happened and, to Trex's surprise, was not worried. "Don't worry. He'll be acquitted." He promised. "Despite the number of witnesses, he has enough alibis to cover it. The judge is a fair man. Worse thing happens is there will be a more thorough investigation in which Flynn would still be innocent." He looked up at the taller wizard. "He'll be fine." He declared before leaving.

Though grateful for the Master's enthusiasm, Trex still felt slightly worried. Not because Flynn was guilty but because why would the individuals, who known of them knew, lie? It made no sense. Not unless something else was underfoot. As he headed back toward the door he passed the jobs board. Pausing, he turned and looked at it. They would need another job after this mess. However, if Flynn got arrested or was ordered to stay in town for a few days they would need something that would earn them money but would not require the entire team. Shaking his head, he frowned as he couldn't find one he wanted.

"Oh hi Trex." Mirajane said coming over with a few new job requests. "Looking for a job for the team?"

He nodded. "Yes. Something not too difficult or time consuming. Just something to get a little money while we continue to look for the keys." He replied.

Mirajane brightened. "I have just the thing. Some man wanted a package delivered to the Capital. He is paying a lot of money to ensure it gets there safely."

Trex frowned as he took the poster. It was a decent amount of money, especially considering the request. The danger level wasn't that high meaning either the man had lied about the danger or he was paying exuberant amount for nothing. "We'll take it." He declared quickly making the decision. If it was the former, he would rather a more experienced team take the job instead of having an inexperienced wizard get caught in something above their heads. If it was the latter, well, they would have a lot of money for doing nothing. "Thanks." He said putting the poster into his pocket. Now to tell the others and see how the trail was going.

He had not expected that. But the Doctor had to hand it to her, she got the man talking. Men were funny sometimes. Especially a man like him. Jen played well on his ego and not only did they learn his name but they were getting a private tour to see this “special thing”. Following along, the Doctor kept back as Jen and Mr. Van Statten continued to chat. Glancing over, he smiled at the stern faced guards, who apparently did not trust him despite the fact that their boss was so taken with Jen. Maybe that added to their dislike. He didn’t know. He glanced at Jen. He could see why Van Statten was attracted to her. She wasn’t a Cleopatra but she did have her own beauty to her and in his sense, made a better traveling companion any day. Not that Van Statten was thinking of her as a traveling companion – at least not in the sense the Doctor and Jen had been.

Reaching the cage, the Doctor waited for the large door to open. The nerve of humans sometimes. Locking up something they didn’t understand. His jaw clenched. Whoever it was, he was going to do what he could to free it. Though he had yet to see it, the way Van Statten spoke, the Doctor knew that it was extraterrestrial and sentient. He would have to do something. Humans couldn’t just lock up whatever they found whenever they feel like it. One of these days it would come back to bite them.
The large door shut behind them, leaving the three of them alone in the room with whatever the “special thing” was. Dim lights cast shadows on around the room, and whatever the thing was, it was hidden deep in the shadows. Glaring at Van Statten he took a step forward. “Whoever it is, it doesn’t deserve staying chained here.” He declared just before the creature spoke. Face paling, he took a step back.

Moving forward, the creature spoke again, the twin lights on the metal dome flashing with each word. As he spoke, his voice grew stronger. “Doc-tor? The Doc-tor?”
Turning, terrified, the Doctor looked at Van Statten, not bothering to answer Jen. “We got to get out of here.” He declared. “Now.” The man just laughed and said something about getting it to talk. The Doctor shook his head. The man was an idiot.

“Exterminate.” The electronic voice spoke again. “You are an enemy of the Daleks! You will be exterminated!”

Moving in front of Jen to protect her, the Doctor winced waiting for the bolt of energy that would take his life but it never came. Glancing up, he looked over. The creature pressed up against the chains, straining to break them. Though, the fire mechanism was aimed at them and moving, nothing came out. The eye piece moved down and looked at the weapon. Laughing, the Doctor moved closer. “Fantastic.” He declared. “Oh fantastic. Look at you, completely powerless.” He laughed again. “The great space dustbin. Fantastic.” His expression changed slightly. “How does it feel?”

The machine backed up slowly now defenseless. “Stay away.” It croaked, seeming afraid.

Ignoring its plea, the Doctor moved up to it’s eyepiece. “What for? What you going to do? If you can’t kill, then what good are you? What’s the point, Dalek?” The word came off with venom and bitterness, adding to his mocking tone. As if no one else was in the room or watching, the Doctor continued. “You are nothing. What are you doing here?” He mocked.

“I am waiting for orders.” The creature replied.

The Doctor chuckled. “You got a long way to go.” He turned slightly and took a step, only to spin back and look at the creature. “They’re never going to come. They’re dead. Your entire race is dead. Burnt. Tens of millions of ships burning the sky. The entire Dalek race wiped out in seconds.” The amount of glee in his tone as he rubbed the fact into the Dalek sounded nothing like the man who had met Jen.

Van Statten grabbed Jen to keep her from going forward. “Wait. This is good.” He said, his grip, though not harsh, firm.

“You lie!” The Dalek screamed. “You lie!”

“I watched it happen.” Gone was the animosity, the anger. It was as if it burdened him. Straightening, he glared at the Dalek. “I made it happen. In a moment, I did what you are best at.” He said snapping his finger. “I exterminated the Dalek race.”

“And the Time Lords?” The Dalek inquired.

His shoulders fells slightly. “Dead. They burnt with you. The end of the Last Great Time War.” He shook his head. “Everyone lost.”

“And the coward survived.” The Dalek declared.

The Doctor looked at him. “Oh I caught your signal.” He shot right back. “Help me, I’m alone. Poor little thing.” He mocked. “But no one’s coming. All gone.”

“I am alone.” The Dalek replied. The Doctor nodded. “We are the same Doctor.” The Dalek continued. “Alone in the universe.”

Rage filled the Doctor’s face. “We are not the same!” He shot back. Then he paused. “You know what, maybe you’re right.” He walked over to the lever. “Cause you know what I’m going to do?” He put his hand on the lever. “I’m going to exterminate you.” He said flipping the switch.

The Dalek screamed as electricity, strengthened by the metal coursed through the mutated alien. That was enough for Van Statten. Calling into the camera for backup, he pulled the Doctor back and into the arms of two awaiting guards. Flipping the switch, he ended the Dalek’s pain. “Take him somewhere we can talk.” He ordered. He nodded for another guard to keep Jen back so she couldn’t come forward. “Sorry, darling.” He said winking at her. “This will have to be private.” He nodded toward the technician who had been working on the Dalek. “Keep it talking.” He ordered following the men out. Only until after they were gone did the guard step out of Jen’s way.

Regeneration. That seemed strangely out of context. She glanced sideways at the Doctor wondering what he meant by that. However, he seemed to realize how it sounded and went on to explain what he meant. Cheating death… That was interesting. To be able to avoid the fate of all mankind sounded enviable. Not that she feared death, no. She just preferred to live. The fact that it caused physical and even mental changes sounded a bit dangerous to her. Though she wouldn’t mind a body that was more attractive, the thought of changing personalities frightened her. Yes, some people might think she was a bit slow. True, she was reflective, but she liked it that way. True, life’s circumstances were often what she liked but she wouldn’t change her life for anyone else’s. Still…

Moving the conversation to Shakespeare, Summer listened to him talk. It made sense that everyone went. When one only had the day-to-day mundane, any form of entertainment would be a good escape. She hid a smile, slightly amused as he gave a bow. Sometimes he could act so much like a gentleman. So polite, so kind. It was a talent that was sorely lacking in her twenty-first century home. As they walked toward the large theatre, Summer listened to the Doctor compare the two times. Her heartbeat picked up a bit when he pulled her closer. She glanced to the side. Why was she acting this way? They were traveling companions, friends. There was nothing between them. Nor did she want anything. Or did she? She pushed the thoughts aide. Of course not. She barely knew him. Besides, she didn’t want a relationship. They got complicated with pressures for more when in reality she just wanted a friend.

Sitting down, Summer turned her attention to the stage. She wasn’t going to let anything spoil her from this moment. She loved the theatre and Shakespeare was one of her favorite playwrights. When the play started, she was a bit surprised to see that they jumped straight into the end of Love’s Labour’s Lost. Though they missed most of it, she still watched eagerly as they ran through the ending. As the play ended, she joined the rest in clapping, though she did not call out. It wasn’t something she liked to do. “That was fun.” She said turning to glance at the Doctor. However, just then the man himself came on stage. She turned and looked back at Shakespeare a bit excited. It was him. He looked a bit different then she expected but still she recognized him from the portraits they still had of him.

When he spoke, her smile disappeared. That was unexpected. Not something she expected him to say. When he promised a sequel, her frown increased. That made no sense. There was no play called Loves Labour’s Won. Watching him leave she turned to the Doctor puzzled but he beat her to the punch. She was glad that it wasn’t just her and she followed him outside. Despite the fact that Shakespeare was different then what she expected, excitement ran through her as the desire to meet him still ran strong.
The inn they found the man in was not the best. But then again, Summer doubted any of the inns at this time would be good. She waited as the Doctor pulled out a paper and introduced them. When Shakespeare declared the paper was blank, she frowned and glanced at it. There was words on it. But before she could say anything, Shakespeare apparently wasn’t finished. Giving a slight bow, he spoke.

Unsure who he was talking to she glanced slightly behind her only to realize he had been speaking to her. A bit surprised, Summer wasn’t sure whether she should feel insulted or flattered. “Uh, thank ye kind sir.” She stated settling for a polite response. The glanced at the Doctor as he informed her no. Not to talk like that. As the two sat down, she forced a smile as Shakespeare moved up right next to her. He was definitely not what she expected. Despite the Doctor’s attempts at discussing the play, the man still injected several compliments her way, interested more in discussing her then his writings.

“No. I’m not from around here.” She replied to yet another one of his questions. Though the attention was quite flattering, she was getting a bit uncomfortable. She looked at the Doctor hoping he would get the man’s mind off her and onto something else. Thankfully for both of them, another man entered the room. He seemed quite wealthy for the time. His clothes were better material and he wore a gold chain of office.

“I say sir.” He declared looking at Shakespeare. “That was an abominable behavior. A new play? And without warning?” He shook his head annoyed as he glared at the playwright. “As you well know, I am the Master of Reveals. All plays must be approved by me before they can be performed.” His eyes narrowed. “Pulling this on me at the last moment is just detestable. Let’s see it then.” He ordered. When Shakespeare pretended to act innocent, the man’s face started to turn even more purple. “The script, Sir!” He declared. “Let me see it.”

Summer watched as the two conversed. Though it brought a bit of relief from all Shakespeare’s attention, she felt sorry for him as the man continued to berate him. “You can’t?” The vein in his head practically popped. “In that case, your performance is hereby canceled.” He declared. “I'm returning to my office for a banning order. If it's the last thing I do, Love's Labours Won will never be played.” With that he stomped out of the room, leaving the three of them alone.
Summer glanced over at Shakespeare. The man just laughed nervously and turned his attention back to her. “Aren’t you concerned about the fact he is not doing your show?” She inquired.

Turns out, he hadn’t even written the script. The play being canceled would save him the hassle of having to stay up all night writing it. She glanced at the Doctor a bit surprised. Apparently, the playwright didn’t mind the fact that many people would be annoyed with the performance being canceled. He was still famous enough that people would still come and see him.

Turning back, she was found that Shakespeare once again came at her engaging her in conversation. Naturally a reserved person, and though the attention was flattering and all, this was getting very uncomfortable. Thankfully for her, the Doctor stated that they had to go. Suppressing a sigh of relief, she let her hand be kissed and quickly followed the Doctor out.

“Thank you.” She whispered when they were out of the room. “It was getting a bit difficult in there. He is not like what I expected.” She declared.
A scream echoed through the air causing them to stop. Taking off after the Doctor, Summer tried to keep up, her attire slowing her down. Though she liked dresses, they did limit the movement and speed of an individual. Thankfully though, they didn’t go far so she didn’t lose the Doctor. Seeing a man on the ground she recognized him as the man from the room. “What happened?” She asked as the Doctor examined the man.

Watching the director walk away, Miranda touched the spot where he had injected her. It was still a bit sore. Words, pictures, concepts - the entire play suddenly started running through her mind. Her character was a servant to a wealthy baron. Though, she seemed like a background character with few words initially, she had a lot of scenes and would be the one to discover who the murderer was. Of course, the character would almost get killed for this knowledge but it worked out in the end. She looked over at the Doctor. He had something about wanting to watch it. Though she preferred a good book next the fireplace to either, she would still rather watch the play rather than be in it. But then again, it was something new. She had never been in a play before. It might actually prove entertaining.

"It shouldn't be too bad." She told him. "Especially, as the words are already memorized." That was something clever. She had no doubt that they would come to her mind when she needed them. It was doubtful with this kind of technology that having stage fright and forgetting the words would happen. But then again, memorized words the hard way or words slammed in one's head both might disappear when one was nervously standing in front of an audience. "Besides," She shrugged. "The man seems to have confused us with someone else. And I don't think he would take kindly to us just leaving him in the lynch." She stated.

Three more individuals entered the room. Spotting them, they headed over to them. The first was elegantly dressed and seeming to be in charge, at least of the other two. Pausing before them, he looked them over. "You both don't look exactly like I was informed." His eyes glanced over Miranda. "Exquisite, but a bit shorter than I expected." He declared, either unaware he just insulted her or didn't care. He looked at the young woman right behind him. "Take her to get her wardrobe. The play is going to start soon and you'll need to make some modifications." He waved them away. Allowing the younger woman to pull her away, Miranda glanced toward the Doctor. She knew she would catch up to him eventually. He was after all, a major character in the play.

The man sniffed as he glanced over the Doctor. “Good, you seem to be in costume already.” He declared. “Louie here will show you toward the stage.” He waved dismissively at the young man. “Your character doesn’t really change outside of this outfit so I’m done. Try not to get it to ruined. These things are masterpieces.”

With that, he walked away leaving the young man with the Doctor. “This way, sir.” Louie stated. “If you are worrying about your friend, don’t worry. She’ll be fine. If I read the script right, she lives to the end.” Then, as if remembering, he paled. “Not to rub it in, sir.” He declared. “I meant no disrespect. We all are thankful for your sacrifice.” He bit his lip and turned expecting the usual complaint. He was so dead. If he was lucky and avoided getting written into a play, he would definitely lose his job. You don’t speak about that. Especially not with one who’s character died. Yes, he was in big trouble. No doubt this man would complain to the director and he would be punished. “This way.” He said, more subdued.

Boy was he embarrassed. Sometimes words just popped out of his mouth without him even thinking about the ramifications. Thankfully, she seemed to understand. She was a bright individual. Someone worthy of being his companion. If only she passed the test. Looking past her, he saw the Ice Governess trying to get through the window. They didn't have much time left. Not that he was concerned. If she passed the test, they would be safely away. If she didn't...well... there was no need to think about that. She wasn't going to fail. He smiled, as Clara looked at him concerned. He smiled. "So come on, then." He told her. "Plan. Do I have one?" He smiled as she boldly stated she knew what it was - had known it all along. "No you don't." He declared. He doubted she knew it, well the whole time anyway. Even he had been making it up as he went. Well... he did have it at the base of the stairs. But that didn't matter. The matter was to see if she could prove it. "Prove it." He declared pacing in front of her. He frowned at her, though in reality he was trying to contain himself. Would she pass? Did she really know it?

He watched as she paused a second and then asked why should she bother. If he knew it, why explain it again? "Because," He informed her. "We will be dead in thirty seconds." Though his back was to her, he knew that the Ice Governess was slowly melting her way through. She was almost through and would quickly reform once her entire body made it through. He waited while Clara rapidly thought it out aloud. He shrugged. "So?" He stated at the mention that if they were hiding they would be elsewhere. He kept the grin off his face though his eyes started to sparkle as she grabbed the umbrella from him. The grin broke out as she used the umbrella to pull the ladder down. "Bravo." He told her. His expression quickly turned to urgency. "Now we better get going. Ladies, first." He said being a gentleman even though there wasn't much time to spare.

When she informed him she was wearing a dress and that he should go first, he nodded. Made sense. Not that he would have looked but still… Scurrying up the ladder he reached the top and waited for Clara. The ladder pulling up behind them had bought them a few seconds. However, he knew the ice governess would pull it back down. The goal was to get her on it, and then hopefully she would fall, breaking apart. Then Simon would be unable to get her. Though, the ice governess would be difficult to kill, the fall would scatter most of her remains making it almost impossible to get back together. At least for many years. In which, it would be dealt with by his younger self. Ah… that was a fun adventure.

Spotting Clara he smiled relieved and headed toward the TARDIS. Opening the doors with a snap of his fingers he entered. Turning, he waited to see her expression. This was the best part about a new companion. The first time they saw his TARDIS always was enjoyable to watch. He couldn’t wait for her to say “Bigger on the inside”. He was practically relishing it.
The opposition was a bit surprised as Flynn rattled off a list of those who could verify his alibi. The judge, remaining as closed as before nodded. He looked over at the soldier. "For the sake of the court, please elaborate on what the spirit looked like."

The soldier nodded. Standing up, he opened his mouth to speak only to pause. He frowned in confusion. What happened. He knew he had been attacked but thinking on it, he couldn't even say what the spirit looked like. Glancing down ashamed, he shook his head. "I'm sorry, your honor. I can't...I can't remember." Bewilderment was evident in his tone and when he looked up, it was obvious that this puzzled him. Either that or he was a very good actor.

Apparently, the judge did not like that answer. Frowning, he glared down at the soldier. "What do you mean you can't remember? You testified that you went after him and he sent his spirit at you. You stated, and I quote, 'I barely escaped'." He narrowed his eyes at the soldier. "Can you at least attempt a description?"

The soldier closed his eyes in concentration, trying to think. Beads of sweat appeared on his forehead as he tried but unsuccessfully remember what the spirit looked like.

When Flynn listed his alibis, Skye nodded in agreement. Yes, he would be fine. Glancing at Zelia, she frowned. "Who?" She inquired. "Who would be behind this?"
Though, she did have a guess. And looking at the soldier, her guess become more solid. The fact he couldn't remember... She chill ran down her back. She hoped it wasn't. She hoped he was stupid or extremely clever to try to pull this off. She hoped it wasn't real.
