@littleone - No. The world would not be better off without you. Those who know you will greatly miss you. Hang in there. Sometimes it might not seem like it but you mean a lot to those who love you.

I'm in the process of moving so I'm currently a bit CrAzY at the second. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal reply schedule soon (after the move and the insanity of getting basic unpacking done)

Heading into the guild Trex nodded as Mirajane waved at them. He looked around the room. Several guild members were hanging around. He spotted Cana in the corner drinking, as usual. Wakaba and Macao sat talking about the latest whatever. Trex turned away and spotted Lucy heading toward them. Excitement shun on her face as she looked around for Flynn. Her smile dimmed as she did not spot him. When she inquired where he was, Zelia beat him in replying. He felt a bit bad when Lucy turned away dejected. He turned and nodded at Zelia when she suggested he go find Natsu and Wendy. "Be careful." He stated. It wasn't that Trex doubted Zelia could take care of herself, he just knew that Gajeel had a bit of a temper. Though the dragon slayer had changed a bit over the years he still could be a bit dangerous.

Turning, he headed off to find Natsu and Wendy. It didn't take him long to find the two dragon slayers. Natsu was at the moment in an argument with Gray over their latest adventure. Annoyed Gray through his hands in the air. "Fine. I've had enough." He said storming off. He nodded at Trex but didn't stop. If he had time, Trex would have caught up with him and gone over some maker magic but now wasn't a good time. Especially as Gray just needed some time off.

Heading over to Natsu, Trex interjected. "Sorry to bother you Natsu, but I have a question."

The pink haired man looked over. His face lit up when he saw Bodo. "Hey look Happy, it's another exceed." Trex calmly waited as the next few minutes turned chaotic as everyone around started throwing out questions and greeting the new exceed. "What brings you to Fairy Tail?" Natsu asked the little creature. "Are you with some dragon slayer that will be joining us?" He grinned at Wendy. "Just think. Four dragon slayers in our guild. Who will want to touch us?"

Skye listened as Flynn talked. He had no idea where to look. She looked down at the map even though she knew she didn't need to re-see it to confirm it was the place she had been looking for. She took inhaled quietly and then looked up at Flynn. "Before I joined the guild, I was in the far north, by the border." She said tracing a grain on the table. "There is a little town called Peatri." She told them. "That's where I first heard of the mythical blue barked tree that would heal all ailments." She nodded toward the map. "It was said to be located at the base of a waterfall in a secret valley. That waterfall crashed into two rivers." She looked up at Flynn. "It is said to be located deep in the Waas Forest. In an area that is guarded by an evil creature." Her eyes dropped and she shrugged. Though she pretended that it was just a myth she couldn't help the shudder that ran down her back. Some might have believed it was a myth but she wasn't so sure. There a presence that she could not explain and the fact that even with her survival skills, honed from years trying to survive on Caelum, she got hopelessly lost had her wonder if something was really out there.

She looked back up at Flynn. "I can take you to the village and we can see if Orian can find the location." She stated forcing the enthusiasm she did not feel. The terrifying fear she had felt lost had been worse than anything she had ever felt before, except for perhaps Tye. It was a different fear. One that had terrified her then but had no brought any harm. Other than the worse nightmares ever and the feeling of hopelessness and dread. She set the remaining breakfast aside, no longer hungry. "It is a good few days travel from here." She stated. "And that's with a wagon." She glanced back at the map. "Do you think we should stop back in Magnolia and get Trex and Zelia? With the train there, we can ride up Oshibana and then make the trek up. Besides, there was safety in numbers.
Nice. Fantasy is always a fun genre to do. You can create all the rules, your own land and get everything worked out. There are no worries about researching accuracy and all that other stuff. :)
Adoption - that's should be an interesting story idea.
Almost finished on either of them?

Yeah. We are a bit sluggish. The good news for you is that I just posted.
Let's do that. Bye bye Jen and Summer. You all were getting boring anyway. ;) JK
Though It will be fun to come up with the random questions. Let's avoid theirs and come up with crazy ones.
Though... we still have a ways to go before hitting 42.
The next two are "Empty Child/Doctor Dances" (Nine/Jen) and "Midnight" (Ten/Summer). Plot List

Zany huh? "Sorry can't talk now my life is Zany". Might work.
[Universe 1]

It did not take long to get to the TARDIS. Unlocking the door, the Doctor entered first knowing that Jen would close the door behind them. Heading over to the console, he did not speak but instead started to prepare the time machine to leave. He did not dare to look over at Jen as he had a feeling he would see anger and disappointment in her eyes. But she did not understand. One Dalek. That was all it took. One Dalek alone could destroy an entire city. Wipe out earth and then take on the universe. If it stayed that way, yes the Dalek would probably be destroyed but it was a smart creature. It would have found a way to start the process to create even more Daleks. His entire race would have died for nothing.

As the TARDIS started to leave, the Doctor steeled himself and glanced over as Jen came his way. He waited for her to tear into him. Patiently listening he was surprised that even though she did think he shouldn’t hold the Dalek accountable for the rest of its people she also came to his defense stating he was not a killer. That he did a lot of good. He started to shake his head. She did not really know him. He was a killer. He fought and killed. Billions of his own children died at his hands. All in an instant to end that war. When she stated she admired him he felt like a fraud. Perhaps if she knew the whole truth she would not agree with him. Stiffening a bit, he pushed her slightly away and turned toward the console.

“Thanks for your support but I don’t deserve it.” He declared not meeting her gaze. “He was right. I would make a good Dalek. To mighty civilizations gone by my hand.” He looked over at Jen, his jaw locked. “I made a choice that day.” He chuckled bitterly. “Save the universe but destroy my own people.” He looked away. “When I saw him it felt like everything I did, went to waste. I just takes one.” He said shaking his head. “Just one.” He rubbed his noise and cleared his throat. He glanced at Jen. “I’m sorry I scared you back there.” He stated. “But that’s who I am.”

And that was why he worked so hard now to give a chance. He did not want to take out the Nesting Consciousness but he would have if he needed to. He worked so hard to avoid violence and stop other civilizations from doing it. Not many people understand the true cost of war. Even the humans with their multiple wars that killed millions did not fully comprehend that full scale intergalactic, across time and space war. A war that millions died every second. But even if they did not fully understand, if he could just stop their conflict, if he could just reason with them, no one else had to die. Because in the end, everyone died. He just wished that once everyone would live. That he could step in and save everyone. But someone always died.

The warm hug caught him off guard. Despite all he said she still came up to him. He glanced down at her as she pulled back. His lips twitched as she mentioned his having an awesome space ship. Had it been anyone else he would have wondered if they just did not care. That they would allow wrong as long as they still got what they wanted. But he knew Jen wasn’t like that. She had stepped in between him and the Dalek. She had tried to talk some sense into him. And despite his anger, she still was willing to travel with him.

He shook his head. “You humans are something aren’t you?” He stated, though this time it was not meant as an insult. There was a reason why he liked traveling with human companions. They made him see things again. They showed him what it meant to be human. And she was right. He had changed a bit sense meeting with her. In a way, his hearts were actually opening up and were ready to let someone else in.

Turning back to the console he grinned. “So where to next?” He inquired. “Paris during Napoleon’s era? Ancient Egypt? The Holy Land during the crusades? Time of dinosaurs?” He looked over at her. “Or perhaps New New York?” The tension from earlier slowly fading the Doctor reverted back to his travel loving self. What was done was done. He just wondered if she would ever understand how bad the Daleks truly was. He hoped that she never would have to find out.

Suddenly the TARDIS jolted and dropped out into real time chasing a much smaller craft. Grabbing hold of the console the Doctor stared at the screen as Jen inquired what was going on. “It’s a Mauve.” He informed her. “The universally recognized colour for danger.” He chuckled when she mentioned red. “No. That’s just you humans.” He told her. “By everyone else's standards, red's camp. Oh, the misunderstandings.” He shook his head. “All those red alerts, all that dancing. No. Mauve is what everyone else uses for danger.” He told her.

The TARDIS jolted around as it chased the craft through time. When Jen inquired if it was safe, the Doctor nodded. A loud bang made him wince. “Alright. Reasonably.” He stared at the screen. Just great. “Well. Safe to us. However, it’s headed straight for London. It is probably going to cause some ruckus.” He grinned. The thrill of the chase was back on. It was good to be back.
[Universe 2]

Summer opened her eyes, her vision starting to clear. What had happened? She remembered going into the house and confronting the Carrionite and it backfiring. The woman had just laughed and then taken her out just by speaking. She looked over to ask the Doctor what happened but saw him on the ground. Forgetting herself, she quickly went over. “Doctor? Doctor are you alright?” She inquired worried.

She set her ear to his chest to see if she could hear his heart, as checking a pulse always seemed a bit difficult for her. She heard the clear thumping of one and something else. Almost like another one slowly picking up speed. Two hearts? She looked at the Doctor. She shouldn’t be surprised. He was an alien. She just didn’t think about how the interior would be different from human. She wondered what else was different. Realizing now was not the best time to figure think about it, she brushed the thoughts aside. Alright, so if his hearts were beating was he alright. She was grateful for that. It would have been a bit difficult trying to give him aid. How did one do CPR on an alien with two hearts? And the mouth-to-mouth. She felt her eyes go up to his lips. That might not have been bad. Closing her eyes, Summer shook her head as she felt the heat flood on her face. Sure the Doctor was attractive. However, that gave her no reason to think about such things. Besides, he was not doing well.

A noise caused her to look over. The Doctor seemed to start to wake up. As soon as his eyes were open he glanced over at her. Seeing that she was alright, he sat up. Slightly composed, Summer helped him up. “I’m fine.” She told him upon his inquiry. She made no mention of how worried she had been for him.

Seeming satisfied and a bit preoccupied by whatever worried him, the Doctor dashed off. Following him, Summer held all questions knowing that whatever was happening, speed was of utmost importance. Spotting the Globe Theatre Summer realized where they were going. So they had been right. The theatre had something to do with the Carrionites. Entering, Summer’s heart sank as she realized that the play was almost finished. Ignoring what the others might think, she followed the Doctor backstage where they roused Shakespeare. Heading out onto the stage as people started to scream, Summer eyes widened at the sight of so many Carrionites swirling around the room. Was it too late? Would history be erased? Would that mean she would disappear, having no longer been born?

Thankfully, it wasn’t too late. Listening to the Doctor, Summer glanced at the Shakespeare. The Doctor was right. Shakespeare would know what to say. He was brilliant with words. As Shakespeare started to wrap up, he frowned as he tried to come up with the last word. “Expelliarmus!” Summer stated remembering some of her friends use that word. It was something to do with Harry Potter or something. She had no clue what it meant. However, it seemed to work. The portal closed leaving the three of them alone in the Theatre. Everyone else had fled and the Carrionites that had been free had been trapped, sent back with the others.

Smiling, Summer exchanged a glance with the Doctor. Her smile faded a bit as she saw the tiredness in his eyes. She nodded as he stated they should leave. She shrugged when he apologized. “Hey, at least I didn’t get kidnapped or anything.” She replied. It had been an improvement. No vampire-like creatures to capture her, no Daleks to transform her. It was a bit strange actually. Then again, the Carrionites did knock her out so it wasn’t a complete loss. She smiled at the sarcastic thought. Turning, she nodded to Shakespeare as they said goodbye. “It was a pleasure meeting you.” She stated. It was. Despite the fact he hit on her the entire time.

Following the Doctor back to the TARDIS, Summer kept close. “That was nice.” She admitted, breaking the silence. “Despite the aliens trying to take over the world and all.” She glanced sideways at the Doctor.

She had come to realize that no matter where they went there would always be something like this happening. Whether it was vampires, aliens in the water or Carrionites, they would show up and the Doctor would deal with them. If asked a year ago, she would have denied and even done her best to avoid getting into trouble. But now… It was exciting. She was actually doing something. Well. The Doctor was doing it but she got to be right there and see it. She hoped this never ended. Who could go back and live after seeing all this? After realizing that the world was not safe as everyone assumed. That their existence was constantly challenged throughout time and space. She paused at the door of the TARDIS, her hand casually running along the inside of the door frame. She hoped this never ended.

Excusing herself and quickly changing back into pants, Summer made her way back into the main room, glad to have her legs free once again. Leaning against a pillar she looked at the Doctor. What had he done before he found her? She couldn’t have been the only one who travelled with him. That would have been absurd. She wondered what happened to them. Did they move on? Did they die?

Realizing she probably did not want to know, she straightened and came over to the Doctor. “So, where to next?” She inquired looking over his shoulder. Their gazes locked. “Maybe some place less… dangerous?” She teased knowing that it really didn’t matter. As long as she was with the Doctor she would be safe. Nothing would ever get between them and he would always be there.
Congratulations! Fiction or not, publishing something is always cool. :D
Yeah - fiction is a bit hard to get published. First one has to finish it and then edit it (bleh) and then find a publisher or do self-publish.
Any stories you are working on currently?

Good. You will be pleased to know that I just finished the reply for Universe 1. I am going to work on the second universe and post it up tonight.
Also, the first reply is about two pages long and the Doctor reveals a bit about himself. That should make up for the long delay.
If not....well. I could always delete it....

But seriously - sorry for the delay.
Sweet. Turn all that writing into something great. Mwuahahaaa!
Publish anything yet?

Did you meet the code or did you get your license revoked? :D
How was their trip? Have they regretted leaving you in charge of the house?

Super stellar huh? Well... It is Doctor Who. They will be among the stars undoubtedly.
I'll see if I can get a post up today. Depends how much work and school I get done. But it is on my list to do today.
The slight jolt of the wagon immediately brought Trex fully awake. He had been dozing the past half hour not fully awake when the wagon started to move. Quickly sitting up he thought about joining Zelia up front when he felt the dead weight on his legs. Glancing down he frowned. Apparently, Bodo slept with Gyastu or it was just an exceed thing. However, that meant Trex couldn't get up and join Zelia. He moved his leg slightly to see if he could shift the little guy off without waking him but to no avail. Well that didn't work. He could lift the fellow up but he had no idea if that would wake him. Deciding it wasn't worth it, Trex reached over to his bag and pulled out a book. It was a good time to get in some reading. Though he did not often get a chance to read with his busy schedule he did like to read a bit here and there to learn new things. A trained warrior did not just train physically, but he trained mentally as well. Besides, he had nothing better to do. When the wagon finally stopped, Trex closed the book and put it in his pack. Thanking the Creator for another day, he stared down at the little Exceed. Really? Still sleeping?

Looking up when Zelia peaked in he nodded. "That sounds like a good idea." He said nudging the exceed off his leg, slightly embarrassed that the little creature seemed so attached. Having an exceed was not bad if you were a dragon slayer but for someone like him... It was strange. He wasn't used to it. With the little guy off his leg and slowly rubbing his eyes, Trex grabbed his pack. "Come on Bodo, he said gently picking the exceed up and handing him to Zelia so they could clear the wagon. Jumping down he spotted the older man who used to rent the horses. Forcing himself not to smirk, Trex gave a slight nod and then headed over to the horses. Finally. It had taken them a long time to get these animals. He couldn't wait to see what a little flesh on them would do. They looked to be good stock, just poorly treated. Grabbing the halters he looked at Zelia. He still couldn't believe she did this for him. If he wasn't so formal and he knew it wouldn't stir up something inside him, he would have hugged her. And not the little side hug either. Shaking his head to clear the thoughts, not wanting them to go any farther he grinned. "Alright, let's head to the guild, find some answers and then take these guys home."

He looked over at Bodo who seemed still a bit out of it. Apparently, mornings were not his thing. He wondered briefly how Gyastu did it. Did he just carry the exceed until it fully woke up or what? Bodo did mention he liked to be on time. Shrugging he headed toward the guild, glancing up at the sunrise. "It looks like it will be a nice day today." He told the two. It would be a good day to walk to his family's farm. Calculating the distance in his head, he figured that if they left around ten, they would make it to his family's farm by evening. Technically, they could go faster if they rode but Trex didn't want to rent another horse and he was not going to ride these ones for some time. Though they were strong, they shared the load. Besides, he didn't have the gear and his parents would kill him.

As they reached the guild, he noted that the little exceed was now a bit more awake and talkative. As soon as he had been able, Bodo had flown over to Trex and had stuck around him the entire time. It was a bit nerve wracking with the horses right there and one false step possibly crippling the creature but it didn't happen. As they reached the guild, Trex tied the horses to the hitching post. "We'll be right back." He told them making sure that they were able to reach the water. "Alright. Let's go find out what we can about Gyatsu." He declared.

Skye hadn't been able to stay up much later after finding an inn. Though she tried to read through Flynn's writing, her eyes kept wanting to shut. It had been a long day and the combination of using her powers straight through for the past day and a half had wearied her out. She had crashed fairly quickly not bothering to take off the decorative skirt and jacket. Though technically the bodysuit underneath was modest enough, she had been to tired to even bother. When Flynn's voice cut into her sleep, Skye groaned and rolled over, grabbing a pillow and pressing it to her ear. She did not want to get up. She started to doze again. When Flynn mentioned something about getting breakfast she groaned again but sat up. Rubbing her eyes she slowly came to grips to where she was. Realizing where she was, she quickly glanced down at herself and then at the bed. Had they...? Did they share the bed? Seeing his stuff on the ground rolled up, Skye left a mixture of relief and guilt. Relief that they hadn't been that close and guilt because she made him sleep on the floor. Not to mention a bit the fact that she momentarily questioned his integrity. It wasn't often that she shared a room alone with some male. If she had been thinking more clearly last night she might have gotten embarrassed and flustered. But it was good. They saved money.

Quickly turning to cover her expression she got of the bed and quickly made it. By time she was finished she was composed and able to face him. Going over to her bag, she reached in to grab her brush before realizing she still hadn't replaced it. Letting it drop back into the bag she looked at Flynn. "You shouldn't have slept on the floor." She told him. "I'm used to the ground, I wouldn't have minded." Not that she had made much of a protest last night. Mentally, she made a note to be more aware of things, even when exhausted. Had she realized there was only one bed and that he probably would not have shared, what with a girlfriend and all, she would have taken the floor. But she had been so tired and all. Turning, she zipped up her bag again and slung it over her shoulder. Excusing herself, she went into the restroom and quickly got ready. Behind the solitude of a closed door, she brushed her hair and made sure everything looked presentable. Sure, her clothes were a bit wrinkled but that was normal, at least for the bodysuit. Sleeping in them did have that effect. Frowning at the jacket and skirt she realized she had slept in them. Oh well. She would have to try and iron them some other time. Maybe Zelia had an iron back at the apartment. It wasn't like she cared.

Well, in reality she did care. She didn't want people thinking bad of her. However, it did not matter. She was used to burying those feelings and pretending it didn't matter. Besides, she was a warrior. She could always blame it to a few nights out on the road. Coming back out, she glanced around the room, she noted that Flynn already had breakfast. As the inn didn't really serve full course, he must have gone down and picked up some of the breakfast rolls they made and brought them back. Sitting down at the wooden table, she set her bag down. Nodding her thanks, she took one of the rolls. Noting his intense look at the book, she glanced at the it, attempting to read it upside down. Apparently it was talking about some place where a waterfall crashed into two rivers. And where a blue barked tree grew at the base of the falls, right at the split of the two rivers. She frowned and reread the description of the valley. She heard of that place. She hadn't been there but she heard about it during her travel through Fiore. "Is that where the next key is?" She inquired. Apparently it was. At least the location to a secret cave where the key was hidden. What was with the color keys all being hidden?

She didn't mention that she had an idea where the blue barked tree was. When she had been traveling far north along the border, she had heard rumor about a secret valley with a blue barked tree that supposedly could heal all ailments. she tried to look for it, not only curious about a hidden valley but thinking it would be a good spot to hide from the world. If it was hard to find, Tye and the others would never know where to find her. But after spending four days lost in the woods, which was saying something considering Caelum was wild and she knew how to survive in the wild and in the forest. But the area she had been in had been so bad that when she finally found a way out, she had been to scared of getting lost forever to try again. Besides, that part of the forest had felt worse then any place she had ever been. The story did say that a great evil dwelled in the woods, purposely confusing travelers so they could not find the secret valley. And those four terrifying days had made Skye really wonder if that was the case.
Yay! Taking classes that actually go with one's major is always fun. I was so glad when I finished up the required core stuff and was able to focus either on classes based on my degree or ones I wanted to take on the side. What major have you decided to do? (sorry, I can't remember if you told me. Long week...)

Fine... Be Happy.

Sorry for the delay. This week has been hectic. As it is I still have a few things I need to finish up today and tomorrow will be busy too. I just wanted to come on and let you know that I didn't die or anything. I will get to the post eventually. :)
Congratulations!!! You should Beee Happy. :D
Enjoy college? You do realize that it is a bunch more work right?
Wait...sorry don't want to spoil your fun to quickly.... I mean it's a riot

Yay! Don't worry about the length. That works. I can easily get a reply up to that. However, if you want to add to it go ahead. I have to head to bed shortly (early work tomorrow0 and 'm not sure how much time I'll have tomorrow so you have until Tuesday to do so. :)
Trex frowned. "I'm not sure. I guess I should feel bad for them but they really ticked me off. I don't like this hiding behind the scenes picking fights. If you want a fight come on out and let's do it. No dancing around the subject." He shook his head. And that was why he was never going into politics. He glanced at the exceed beside them. They probably should change the subject. He didn't want the poor fellow to think they were excluding him. "So, Bodo how did you join up with your dragon slayer originally? Did he find you as an egg or after you were born?"

It seemed a bit strange if Gyastu had found an egg. Originally, exceed eggs had been sent here long time ago by the Exceed Queen in the hopes to save her race from future annihilation. However, after all magic was pulled out of Edolas and the Exceed moved her, most of the exceed hatched here were found and taken back into their families. Though some exceed chose to stick with their humans, many of the exceed lived in a few cities dotting Fiore; the largest of which was located near Magnolia. Looking at this exceed, Trex couldn't tell his age but he guessed he had been born after the Edolas exodus or around there. Either way, it would be interesting to learn a little more about this exceed. Maybe in the tale, Trex could pick up some clues as to why the dragon slayer left in the first place.

Nervously waiting while Flynn took the book and quickly examined it, Skye started to glance away when he spoke. Frowning, she looked at him. "Are you certain?" She inquired not really sure if she should leave. There was a lot they needed to find and these rings were more important then what she wanted to know. Especially as she doubted she would find what she was looking for if the section was anything like the celestial library. However, when Flynn seemed certain, Skye picked up the map. "I won't take long." She promised. At least she hoped she wouldn't.

Leaving, she exited the celestial library and headed back to the main lobby. From there she would follow the map to Classification category. After many twists and turns Skye found herself in the room. Located in the basement of the building, Skye saw that the library was much smaller then the Celestial library. A lone table sat in the middle of the room with two chairs. Apparently not many people came down this far. Either that or she was incredibly lost. Glancing at the nameplate on the door, she sighed. So she wasn't lost. That was good news. Putting the map on the table she went over and looked at the bookshelves. Grabbing a book she started to peruse it. There were many types of magic broken off into different categories. However, she did not find the one she was looking for.

Going through book after book, Skye frustration built. Nothing. The greatest library in the country, possibly in the world and she couldn't find what she needed. She discovered several types of magic she didn't know about but not the one she really wanted to know. So much for trying to get around it. Cursing she slammed the latest book back in its place. Would she ever be free? Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes. Trying not to cry she sat there until she regained her composure. Glancing at the map she wondered how long she had been gone. two hours? three?

Quickly jumping up she grabbed the map and headed back. Even with the map she got turned around a few times before she finally made it back to the lobby. Spotting Flynn, she headed toward him. "I'm so sorry." She stated. "I lost track of time." Spotting the large clock she winced as she realized she had been down there about six hours. She bit her lip. "Find anything interesting?" She inquired tentatively.
Universe 1

Miranda frowned at the Doctor but did not comment further. She saw an opportunity and she exploited it. As the elevator headed up, she eyed the Doctor carefully from the corner of her eye. For a person who tried to right the wrongs, he sure seemed not to like violence. She could respect that. Making a note of it, she decided if she could, she would avoid using any weapon unless absolutely necessary. At least when she was with the Doctor. He had been kind enough to let her come along, she would honor his wishes, if she could. However, if there was not many other options left she would do what she needed to protect them. Even if it meant disappointing the Doctor again and using a weapon. Though technically, she was sure she might find other ways around it. This time she could have knocked the weapon out of the man's hand and left him unconscious. They really didn't get much information from him anyway so it would have worked. She wondered what the Doctor would think if she had done that instead. Would he have been glad she didn't use the weapon or annoyed she still used brute force to take out her opponent?

However, she kept her mouth shut and rode in silence. The trip did not take that long and soon they were on the top floor. The door opened and Miranda started to exit before turning and looking back at the Doctor. "I apologize." She stated. "I did not mean to offend you with the weapon earlier. If I can find another way I will." In reality it would work better for her anyway. It wasn't as if Scotland Yard allowed their officers to have weapons. Well, except for a few in the special units. She offered an apologetic smile. "Though you might have to be patient with me. I'm trained to handle violence in any way necessary, including with violence." Turning she headed down the hallway toward the door ahead. She really did not want to see what disappointment in the Doctor's eyes again. Frowning at herself, she pushed the thought aside. So he might be disappointed. She was twenty-eight. She needed to quit relying on others for her personal self-esteem. If he did not like her then he could take her home. Though, she hoped he didn't. She was enjoying this and despite what she needed to do, she really wanted to please him. It was as if she was a child again trying to receive acceptance from yet another foster parent who only took her in because they had to.

"Stop it." She muttered to herself angrily. She was an adult and past that. Putting her hand on the door knob she turned it and entered. The room was crazy with a bunch of people working.

"You aren't supposed to be here." A man said spotting them. "What are you doing here?" He looked around. "We need security."

Miranda was about to speak when the Doctor took over. Stepping back she watched with a smile as he brushed the man's concerns aside and got down to the meat of the matter. It no time at all they were speaking to the boss who was not at all pleased to see them.
Universe 2

Jenny reddened a bit guilty. "Sorry. I thought... I didn't realize..." She smiled. "Pleasure to meet you Clara." She stated excited to see someone closer to her age. When Clara started speculating why they were there, the blond shrugged. She really wasn't familiar with the TARDIS. Technically she hadn't even seen it. She looked at the Doctor. "You know, you never did show me our TARDIS." She informed him.

"Our TARDIS?" The Doctor frowned down at her. "It's not our TARDIS, it's my TARDIS." He replied.

"We'll, technically it's a bit of mine as well as I am your daughter." Jenny replied giving him wide eye doe look.

"Well... I..." The Doctor turned and looked at Clara. "We should probably get moving. Those bounty hunters are up to something. And I'm sure if we stay here blabbering around all day they will be back and catch us." He glared at Jenny. "Ditch the gun. I thought I taught you no weapons."

The blond shrugged and took the gun off. "Sorry. Old habit. I just love the way a gun feels in my hands. I didn't use it."

The Doctor looked at Clara. "See what they did. Took a sample of me and extrapolated it into a soldier." He grunted. "Come on. We have to find out what's going on."

Jenny glanced away and bit her lip. This had been part of the reason why she had wanted to be on her own. Though he had been warming up to her last time she meet, he didn't seem to keen on her now.
