I'm in the process of moving so I'm currently a bit CrAzY at the second. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal reply schedule soon (after the move and the insanity of getting basic unpacking done)

Celestial Keys
Colour Keys:
The Color Gate Keys: Thought to be a myth, all knowledge of them lost to all but a few. These powerful keys are more powerful than the Golden Gate keys.
The Color Gate Keys were split into two categories: Rainbow Keys: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet; and Poten Keys: White, Black, and Brown.
The Poten keys were said to open the gates to the most powerful celestial spirits bound by contract. However, the Rainbow Keys, though not as powerful as the Poten keys, also brought forth extremely powerful spirits. It was said that each key brought a spirit that could equal most S class wizards.

Sadly it is true. Besides, having to much stuff might not be a good idea as I might move in the next six months... Nah. It's a good idea.

Nine/Jen
Ice picks? You said we need to break the ice. What better method to do so than an ice pick?

Ten/Summer
That would work. Technically, most people won't invite perfect strangers but then again as seen in the episode "Father's Day", as Summer is related, the mom might trust her (though she might not completely understanding why) and invite them.
Either that or she is inviting just anyone. It all depends on where we take the personality.

Yes... Yes you did. Must you rub it in? Why you are at it, why don't you give me a paper cut and poor lemon juice on it. We're closed. ;)
That's good. I'll have to look at the books sometime. I just have so many other items to purchase beforehand.

Oh that. That could work too. Snowball fights should lower the tension and stress. I can see that going very well. As long as nobody packs ice...

No problems. I forgot how long it takes to put a reply. Take your time. Though let me know if you want parts changed. I might be a tad rusty on the characters.

Nine/Jen
I'll get the pick. lol.
Evil Nine! Not giving enough attention to poor Jen. Maybe we should hit him with the ice pick.

Ten/Summer
That works.
Though anxious to get to where they needed to go, Trex kept a close eye on Flynn, making sure he didn’t overdue it driving. Thankfully, he did pretty well, probably due to the crowded streets. Hargeon was fairly busy this time of year. Combined with the fact that there was a large competition tomorrow for Celestial wizards, it meant the streets were extra crowded and they had to be careful to avoid hurting someone.

However, despite the delay, they made decent time and were soon a short distance from what looked to be an abandoned building. Trex smiled at Flynn’s observation. Yup. This would make battling a whole lot easier. As they came to a stop, he climbed out and looked at the two Pegasus wizards. “What’s your magic again?” He inquired of Chris.
“Arial magic.” The young man replied. “I use wind and air spells.” He cracked his knuckles, ready for a fight.

Trex looked back at Flynn. Caelum wizards. Ever since they showed up they had been nothing but trouble. He knew that Ryzo couldn’t be trusted. What Zelia saw in him was beyond him. Especially considering the fact Caelum wizards were here proved that Ryzo was behind her falling asleep. He frowned when he heard there was a protective spell on the ground. Then he smiled. “Well, there is nothing like parts of the roof caving in to draw them out.” He stated.

“You sure this place is not owned by someone?” Chris asked. “We can get into a lot of trouble damaging someone else’s property. If Amber goes to jail her contracts are void.”

Trex looked at the building. Paint was peeling off. Boards were warped. Weeds grew over the yard. Spotting the condemned sign he smiled. “Yup. No problem. This place is condemned. We will just be making their work easier. But to contain it, you and Amber go on the other side and make sure nobody comes out the back way.”
The Pegasus wizard nodded. “Alright. Come on Amber.”

“Good luck.” Amber called before going after him. Spotting Aerok she met up with him and spoke to him.

Inside the building Maria quickly stood at Narsica’s warning. “Yes” She replied slightly annoyed. Of course she could only handle on spirit. Even if she could pull out two initially, considering that Twila was some distance away would have made it impossible. At least at her strength level. “I can always pull Twila back but I doubt that Ryzo will be pleased with that.” She stated. Where were they anyway? Shouldn’t they be the ones ambushing the Fairy Tail wizards instead of vice versa? Perhaps it was only one or two wizards they were up against.

“How good is your magic?” She shot out. “Wouldn’t your protective spells make it impossible for someone to enter?” In all honesty she wasn’t sure what Narsica’s magic did. Narsica was Tye’s trainee, Maria was Ryzo’s. Before coming to Fiore they rarely ever saw each other. This would probably be the first time they would fight side by side.
The roof creaked and part of it started to fall. Outside Trex smiled as he snapped a few more support beams and sent them down on where Flynn had told him the wizards had been sitting. “Let the party begin.” He said grimly.
~~~~
Draught! How did this girl figure it out again? Twila frowned getting a bit annoyed. Was she losing her touch? As she had been forbidden to come into others dreams without orders from her mistress, she wasn’t able to do much. But it was worth it. Having Floren’s key fall into another wizard’s hand instead of her mistress’s was worth getting punished. The other celestial wizard had seemed nice, and Floren did ask nicely.
Turning her attention back to the girl. Technically, she could make the young woman extremely busy, but that would require turning the nice dream into a nightmare. Waving her hand, she made everything disappear, placing clouds all around the young woman. If she was going to wonder, let it wonder in a sea of clouds. She would never find Twila and it was better than a nightmare.
Amber smiled. Though she wasn’t about to admit it, keeping the gate open at this distance was a bit tiring. She had never done this before. However, there was no way the brunette was going to complain. “I’m alright.” She replied. “You might need Aerok." She shook her head at the mention of spirits fighting a distance away. “No.” She informed him. “In fact, I’ve never really sent my spirits too far out of my range.” She admitted. “I’ve never really had a need to before today.”
Christ frowned. If she wasn’t careful, Amber was going to burn up all her magic energy. Then where would she be for tomorrow’s competition? However, he didn’t say anything. Amber never listened to reason anyway. He just hoped she wouldn’t be completely drained. Her winning the competition not only helped her but it helped the Pegasus Guild. Fairy Tail was extremely popular guild with powerful wizards. More people were flocking to join it every day. For the other guilds, this meant that the power differentiation would keep increasing. There was no way he was going to allow Pegasus to drop even farther back. It was a proud guild, even though it did have its quirks.
Trex nodded. He looked at Skye. “Nobody gets in, understand?” He ordered.
Skye nodded. She already planned on setting up an illusion trap in case anyone came into the room. Combined with the spell hiding them, they should be alright. At least until her magic energy ran out. “Understood.”
“Even if she wakes up, I don’t Zelia jumping into anything.” Trex lectured. “She’ll undoubtedly want to help but I want to make sure she is alright before she gets involved, understand?” Wilting a little at his tone and gaze, Skye nodded. “Good.” Trex replied turning to look at Flynn, Chris, and Amber. “Tell us the location on the way.” He told Flynn as he headed toward the door.
The villains who did this were going to pay. And he didn’t care if it was the Caelum wizards or even another guild. This was just dirty and he was going to make them pay.
The Dream World
Still concerned, Trex followed Zelia to her seat. “We moved you to make sure nothing was wrong.” He informed her. “You were out for a good twenty minutes. It’s so unlike you.” He brushed some hair out of her eye. “Are you sure you are alright? Did the spirit give you nightmares? Taunt you?”
Twila nodded, satisfied that it was going well. Within a few minutes she would have the train arrive at…she looked through the memory – Hargeon. That way Zelia wouldn’t suspect. Then she would have them go around looking for a place to stay. Just enough time to waste before she had to come up with something else. She turned her attention back to Zelia. She didn’t know how long she had before her mistress called her back to defend against the hunter and the boar but until then, she would enjoy her time here.
She was not looking forward to battling the other two spirits. If it was an option, flight was always better than fight. But if it came to a fight, she would give them one.
Maria sighed and looked at her nails. It was exceedingly boring just sitting her doing nothing. With Twila already out and keeping that girl asleep, Maria wasn’t even able to call up another spirit to toy with or annoy. Instead she was stuck here with Narsica.
Glancing at her compatriot, she rolled her eyes. Narsica wasn’t the best person to talk with. She seemed so suspicious and just like the other Caelum wizards, untrustworthy. Maria only felt comfortable with just her spirits. There was no way anything she said would come back and bit her. They would never betray her.
She sighed once again. Though Ryzo, Zen, and Tye had only been gone for a short time it seemed like ages. “I wonder if they found the Fairy Tail wizards.” She stated finally not being able to contain her talkativeness. “To see their smug smiles wiped off their sorry faces would have been great to see.” She smiled. “They stand no chance against us.” She looked at Narsica. “Do you know who the young girl was? The one that Tye was so enthroned with?” She asked. “They have some similarities. I wonder if they are related.”
[Dimension 1]
Time Lords of Gallifrey. Sentinels of time and space. Once populated in the tens of billions there was now only one. One Time Lord in all of existence. The rest gone, perished in the infernal of the Great Time War. Billions of lives snuffed out in an instant leaving him as the Last Time Lord.
Humans were so silly really. Waging war like it was a game. They weren’t the only species to do so but they were one that he most frequently visited. Killing millions of their own kind to gain small scraps of land or power. It was trivial really. They considered some of their past battles as horrific and grand on the scale of things but comparatively, it was nothing. Nothing compared to what he had seen and endured. Maybe that was why he was so ticked off with people. Everyone going about their lives complaining about insignificant little details like a friend not talking to them or they haven’t had a boyfriend or girlfriend. Seemingly important but nothing compared to what he had gone through.
But that didn’t stop him from visiting them. From protecting them from unknown enemies; enemies that if the people of Earth knew about would strike terror and fear in the world. Perhaps it was the fact that they cared about the insignificant details. Perhaps it was their innocence and naivety that attracted him to them. No, nothing that happened to them would ever compare to his experience, but that was alright. It allowed him to once again see the universe as something other than a bloodbath or sorrow. As something new and wondrous, not scarred and troubled. Maybe that was why he allowed Jen to go with him. Or was it the fact she stubbornly wanted to come and wouldn’t leave him alone?
The Doctor smiled. Oh Jen. Despite his attempts she seemed to actually renew his faith in mankind. She gave him that door to new possibilities and beauty. Sure mankind was still a bunch of overgrown apes who did nothing better than go about their daily business working and eating chips. But that was alright because they had him to watch over them. Him to protect their tiny world. And he did. He battled weeping angels and Krillitanes, Nesting Consciousness and witches. He was used to it. The rage, the fight. Compared to the Time War it was child’s play. Not that he enjoyed it. No. He was so tired of the killing, the dying. Couldn’t just once, everybody live?
As he sat there, none of the inner turmoil made it to his face. Instead, wearing a cheeky grin he watched as Jen fingered the pile of papers she had put together. He had no idea what was in it but whatever it was it seemed to be troubling her. It was something for her ex-boyfriend, he figured. He didn’t know anything about the guy but if it was anything typical of human drama, the man was either a jerk or something petty had come up.
He smiled as Jen complained about the date. “T’wasn’t my fault.” He shot back with a grin. “You said boyfriend and the TARDIS has a mind of her own.” His northern accent, was pretty noticeable. He found it interesting that she wanted him to pay. He was a Time Lord not an ATM. He never carried money. Well… He reached into his pocket. He actually did have some surprisingly. Oh yes, the misunderstanding in Dover.
Standing when she stood, he gave all the money to the waiter. “Keep the change.” He said following Jen out the door. He grunted as she told him he could do something else. Right. He probably could but he was a bit worried as Jen wasn’t acting like herself. He chuckled when she asked him about not feeling. “Nope.” He said. “And even if I did, I wouldn’t give it to you. Feeling is a part of life. There might be times when life gets bad but you have to move on.” He paused, his expression saddening for just a second. “Like me.” He grinned.
Well… He had to move on. There was nothing he could do to change the past. Only moving forward and doing some good might ease him of the pain and sorrow he had seen and caused. Giving her shoulder a reassuring squeeze he gave her a comforting look. “You’ll be alright. Eventually.” He grinned again.
[Dimension 2]
The sweet smell of the cool sea air. It was something that brought back quite a few memories; some good, some bad. But this was home. Though some things were different, they did go back in time, not much had changed over the years. The air was still cleaner than in London and it wasn’t as crowded either. Though it was only an hour and a half away from London, Summer hadn’t been here in years. She just never seemed to have time to return, especially as there was not much to return to. But sitting there in the little inn she was glad they returned even for just a bit. It seemed so quiet compared to what she had been doing lately.
It seemed that the past few adventures with the Doctor she always seemed to get into trouble. What started as a simple photograph assignment for work turned into an adventure unlike she had ever had. Slitheen, vampire-ish creatures, crazy Daleks… She shuddered. As they had walked toward the little inn, she discretely glanced at the Doctor. The tall man didn’t look much like someone from another planet. Anyone looking at him would assume he was probably from Britain, possibly even narrow down to around Scotland area, not that he had a strong accent. She glanced away. Why he had taken her originally, she could only guess. It couldn’t be her looks or intelligence. And it definitely wasn’t her good judge of character. The image of the Slitheen she talked him into leaving came back to her. Yeah, that was a dumb idea.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to go with him. Shoot, even with all the trouble she seemed to get into, she would gladly continue. The ability to travel to other places, other times, alone was worth the near death experiences she had already been through. She just wondered if he felt the same way.
They entered an inn and sat down. Though set up as a place for travelers the place had a nice tea shop which brought in many a local during the day. Summer listened as the Doctor explained how careful they had to be. He had mentioned earlier that they were going to visit her parents. Had it been the wistfulness in her tone when they spoke of where she had grown up or the fact that he was going to take her home and was going to use this as a way to break the news slowly to her. She didn’t blame him. She seemed like a magnet for trouble. Why would he still want her around?
She took a drink of her tea. The warm liquid brought a slight smile to her face. She used to come here as a young child with her mother. She looked at the Doctor. How had he known? Or did he just stop here because it was a convenient place to drink tea?
Setting the cup down, she placed her hands in her lap. “I’ll be careful.” She told him seriously as he finished. The thought of seeing her parents both excited and frightened her. Excited because though it had been a good eight year or so, she still missed them. Frightened on the fact that one slipup and she would terminate her own existence. She frowned thoughtfully. Would she slowly fade away or just flash, disappear? Whatever the case, it was something that she would be extremely careful on.
She looked back outside. She wondered where her parents were at this very moment. She knew they both lived in Dover. Her father had been working on his degree at the local university while he worked graveyard at the docks. Her mother, taking a few classes on art worked at a local establishment as a waitress, though Summer wasn’t sure which. She looked at the Doctor. Did he have an idea or where they just going to wonder around?
“Thanks for bringing me here.” She told him, realizing she hadn’t said much after he first informed her they were coming. She glanced at her tea. “I haven’t seen my parents in eight years.” She stated quietly. She swallowed and pushed her emotions down. Why had she said that? She didn’t talk much about herself to others. Even her mates back at home, assuming they still would talk to her if she got back as she had left them unspoken for a year, didn’t know much about her past. They didn’t know that when the news that her parents had been killed in a car crash came, the then seventeen year old felt as if she was a small child, alone and afraid.
Clearing her throat, she gave an awkward smile and looked at the Doctor. “So, should we hang out here or wander around looking for them?” She asked, pushing forward. “My mother took me here as a child so she was familiar with it but I’m not sure when she first started coming.” Honestly, she didn't know what she would say once she saw her parents. She would just pretend to be some stranger and say hi. Nothing major. Nothing stupid.
Yeah we'll have to plan it real well before we actually implement it. Ooo a book. I actually haven't read any of the novelizations of DW. I take it that it was very good?
Fluff? Fluff? No he's not. ;) Oh well. I guess in a sense. He is actually seemed to offer more mercy than Tennant. (e.g. Nesting Consciousness vs. Empress of the Racnoss).
We did have some good progress and development. Yeah getting back into it should be fun. :)
Somewhere nice huh? So before we head to "Dalek" we do something like "Rings of Akhaten"? Especially as we have Dalek double planned. :D
Ooo Snow Shananagins... We can do either Christmas Carol (with the fish) or The Snowmen.
Update: I was thinking that Summer's mother would be a waitress at the little inn. She shows up after their current waitress had a family emergency.
Did you have any plans on how this episode was to proceed?
Update 2: Just posted.
Nine/Jen
There set a nice background to reintroducing Nine (hopefully).
He's not so good at comforting though... :)
Ten/Summer
I didn't bring in the mom yet as I had written a lot so far. We can either bring her in right away or wait a bit - give them a little time to discuss the past few events and build up the relationship.
True. And that actually might be interesting taking an episode used in a multiple arc and making it a single episode instead. It will be Fantastic! We can make it more creative and slowly come up with our own stuff. :)
Don't worry to much about the order or exact replica of last posting. We can go off whatever you do and just assume that is how it went.
In the meantime... I need to get into Nine's sassy attitude.
now how to do that... I know watch some clips of Nine. (After I get back home of course. :) )
