Personality:

Bakuto is an eccentric person, likes to meet new things. He is heavy into gaming and stuff like that. He finds digimon to be very interesting(after finding out they were real). Bakuto enjoys building things and taking things apart. He has a terrible habit of 'inventing' things that already exist. Example, he put a open current onto a stick and called it the 'digi'shocker. Its just a cattle prod. Or what Kokuwamon calls it the 'Yum Yum' Stick. Bakuto might be the worst person to put into a covert situation as he talks a lot. Almost always has something to say. He is a kind person though, unless someone does something that would upset him. Bakuto cannot stand when someone beats up on someone who is weaker then them, often tries to stand up for the little guy. Its how he ended up with his digimon.

Skills:

Building things or rather tinkering things to get things to work. Bakuto's skills are working on machines to get them to work. He has most skills as a mechanic often fixes things that doesn't need to be fixed. OR invent things that are useless or already exists. He has a lot of side knowledge to help computers or jury-rig things into working.

Bio:

Bakuto was originally just a simple humble mechanic and I.T guy who fixes things. Bakuto is a young adult who moved out on their own to attempt to make it out into this world on his own. He has no family, no connections to anyone that wasn't connected to him through his computer games. Apart from his day jobs, working for some company until recently he thought was just a plain computer company later turned out to be part of ATLAS. He was working on someone's computer which needed some I.T work. He was never supposed to take his work home, but he did anyway. He got work finished at home better, this time however as he was trying to clear out the computer he found two programs on the computer.

The two programs contradicted each other and from the outsiders view just looked like one was just overriding the other causing the computer lots of issues. With a lot of fumbling around Bakuto found out these things were something called digimon. At the time he had no clue what they were but one little guy, Kokuwamon was getting beaten up by a much stronger sprite a Datamon. With a big of help from Bakuto Kokuamon defeated Datamon, having got the power in the computer to digivolve into its champion, and Bakuto fiddling around with Datamon to weaken him he defeated it. At this time Bakuto thought this was just a video game. Then Kokuwamon asked for him to feed him and Bakuto said he would in the morning. Not knowing what those words meant.

That next morning Bakuto woke up to his room being a disaster and the computer he was working on basic destroyed. Something ripped it apart took out the battery and 'broke' it. He found this little robot sucking electricity out of his tv remote's batteries. It thanked him for the meal and this friendship started. That next day Bakuto met up with the managers of his job. He thought he was going to be fired for breaking the computer or taking it home, instead this was about Kokuwamon. He then met ATLAS. Then was given his choice, if anyone could call it that. He couldn't just have his memory wiped he would also be fired. So to keep his job he picked to work with ATLAS. He considered it a 'promotion' and decided to give this all a chance.

Kokuwamon's personality or atleast Bakuto's Kokuwamon is rather simple. It will do anything to protect Bakuto, but it really like to eat anything that has electricity in it or can produce electricity. Batteries and what not. Kokuwamon is a kind robot digimon, but when bribed or something gets in its way to eat then it is up to fight. Or something tries to hurt his tamer or digipartner.

Appearance and abilities:


Power Surge (Scissor Arms Mini): Discharges electricity from the pincers on both of its arms and cuts through solid objects.
Stun Shock: Attacks emitting electricity accumulated on the head
Dis-Assembler(Assemble Work): Attacks the enemy using the scissors on both hands.
Electro Strike (Elect-Elect): Drops lightning on the enemy.
Lightning Arrow ("Lightning Slash"): Pierces with an electric shock.

Listening to Krillin and given their first instructions to swim to another island from the one they are at. When he gave Bakuto orders to wait for the senzu beans to kick in since he may have some broken bones from his encounter with Lazuli. Bakuto just shook his head then said, "That's not going to work. If I sat back and waited for injuries to get better before I start training then I wont get anywhere. I am the one that issued the challenged, if I am hurt then it is my fault. Then I must live up to the what has happened from challenging someone so much stronger than I was. If I must train while injured then so be it. I wouldnt be much of a warrior or fighter if I couldn't even do that. I have my pride as a warrior to live up to my own life style, train to get stronger. If I am hurt then train myself to endure through the pain so I don't ever get hurt again."

With his little speech over, Bakuto moves his arms around under his shirt to move his arms out from the top of his shirt where he was still wearing it, but more like a belt now as he then says, "One hundred miles or longer? Fine let's get started."

Bakuto took off on the starting island in the wrong direction. A bit slower than he had moved at all. He then cracks turns from the far side of the island cracks his neck a few times. Then like a bullet he took off right towards the island that Krillian had pointed at. Running to the end of the island right before the water then he leaps hard. Using as much speed as he could for his initial take off. Those watching on who weren't able to keep up would have just seen a blur then something jumping from the island, those who could see he jumps across the water a bit before diving into the water. Even jumping over a few of the more slower swimmers who took off before him Then taking off once he hit the water and began to swim. He fought through whatever pain he was feeling he was going to start his training head first. He meant every word he said to Krillin. If he was hurt, he had to train to over come his own pain. To grow stronger and to endure more what he hasn't been able to so far.

The mission was get to the island, Krillin gave him and the others a goal to get there in but Bakuto wanting to go even further he wanted to get there faster than expected. Pushing himself to whatever limits he has and looking to shatter through them to reach new strengths within himself

From getting hit to being force-fed a sensu bean it all melted together into a singular blur for Bakuto. One moment he was in the attempt to use his afterimage technique. His belief was that his speed would have been better than his opponent or at least throw Lazuli off. Yet he was completely wrong and in a faster blur then even Bakuto was he was sent flying a great distance away.

To say the wind got knocked out of him would have been an understatement he was completely knocked out of it. The next moment he felt the coldness of water as he had a descent down into the cold below of the ocean. Water filled his lungs up but before the worst could happen he found himself being fed that senzu bean.

Almost as soon as the bean started to work he sat up and starts to cough up the water that he almost drowned own. As he coughed out the water he heard Lazuli apologizing yet it didnt register at first what just happened until. He then said quietly, "One punch, that was just one punch..." A bit in disbelief of what just happened he then looks to see Krillin there he then said, "Old man, if I train here under you...will I get that strong?" His question directed right at Krillin, his lighthearted fun demeaner set to a more serious tone. As Bakuto has seen how weak he truly was now and it took a hit to his pride, but yet he wants and to himself he needs to know if he could get the same level of power that this girl just displayed in that one moment.

His weakness and lack of strength was a bit new to Bakuto as even during the World Tournament he still felt at the top of the world when it came to strength but now a whole new level just appeared to him just to show him that he wasn't that strong at all. He was weak so much so that there were many others stronger than he was. Yet if this old hermit Krillin could help him get stronger than he could jump this gap between those who are stronger than. A rematch with the girl he fought from the tournament seemed to far gone at this time as there was someone even stronger, and Bakuto wanted to rise up and get to that strength if he was able to.

'This was my fault', the thought that had went through Tenshi's mind over and over. He was the one that suggested this approach and now look at the situation. They were already under attack and one kid could be dead already. Suggesting to split the teams up and coming with the slug group was all his own choices and they were all paying for this.

The sand kid who was knocked from the slug all Tenshi could do is sit there and try and build up as much chakra as he could. But the Uchiha girl didnt come back up after going in after him. Instead things escalated and got worse. Botan talked about the waters infested with sharks and presuming the kids ill fitted fated. Fighting every urge in his body to get up and try and save this kid. Fighting his own emotions this was the one thing he wanted to avoid and that was losing anyone on this mission.

Tenshi couldnt just sit there though and wallow in despair for the kid they just lost as suddenly the Uchiha girl and not her clone reappeared as a loud crash from the cliffs above he looked up and seen the next worst case scenario. If something wasnt done quickly a lot more of them were about to be crushed to death by falling rock. Snapping to he got up and once again this time to say directed towards the one who summoned the slug. In a quick and panicked tone he quickly said, "Hey Senju girl, You use the wood release right? Seen your clones, we need something like now! I will lend out as much chakra you need to stop everyone from dying there! Please hurry!"

He couldnt do anything to stop this much falling rubble himself. Maybe he could cut up one or two big rocks but this way too much too quickly. Tenshi was going to rely on the this jounin girl's jutsu. Gambling everything on one person who may have a singular chance in stopping the death of everyone. Nothing more he could do other than lend chakra and just hope that this Senju girl could get the job done.

Sorry i havent posted yet, live has been busy. Also having a bit of writers block trying to think of a reply. Kind of think I should wait until after someone recovers Bakuto from the ocean, since I can only imagine he would be barely conscious or even barely alive after taking that kind of shot from Krilian's granddaughter. It would be easier to reply to after Bakuto is saved from drowning and after the aftermath of getting his lights punched out.

Escalation was one word that someone could describe the situation. First an enemy kunoichi cut down his kunai, he originally was thinking at that time she might have foreseen his future attack and his ploy of failing to throw it correctly. Then his thoughts and everything shifted after the unthinkable happened. Hideo cutting down his team's leader and teacher.

Their sensei...was cut down before the genin's eyes. Even though it was just a clone the image was trapped within Bakuto's mind. Then Hideo faded into the ground and left them with the enemy. Lots of questions would be building up. What just happened? Being the primary question. Did Hideo just betray them?

Bakuto was wide-eyed and slack-jawed and stun for good moment, until he heard one of his comrades Yue let some sound. She broke him out of his trance he looked over he could see she was trying to say something but froze up. He had to think, they were still facing off against three powerful enemies. Chuunin level enemies and they were fresh genin.

In an intant Bakuto drew another rigged kunai instead of throwing it he stabbed it into the ground and for the first time he spoke with determination, "We will not retreat from this point!" He was a big shaky but he knew they couldn't retreat. He couldn't trust they would be true to their words and let them just go. Leaving them to the whims of their enemies was a sure way to get some of them captured or killed. After his exclamation he starts undoing the bandage on his right hand. He was still quiet but he started to speak again a bit more shaky like then his original exclamation. Not use to this kind of thing he says, "Umm....alright...we are still on a mission...we must go forward. We must get through these...um tunnels...the...the others and help them...then get to our target..."

Once he finished up he gets into a position as his right arm moves forward. The arm creeks and the gears made noise as the arm moved forward revealing the puppet like hand. As he opens the palm toward the enemies. A hole in the puppet hand faces the enemies. "Even if we...um have the numbers...they are chuunin. Our best chance...get by them quickly...we can worry about...Hideo sensei later...now get ready to run...be prepared to fight...like your life and all of the others depends on it!"

The chakra in the puppet arm built up quickly Bakuto's hand turns ever so slightly as the mechanism in the arms started to move. Suddenly with an pop out fires from the hand a steady and quick stream of smoke blasting out from the hole in the hand. His intentions were to give cover so they could run through. If he had to, he could place more kunai in strategic spots so if they could get to a place where they could get out of these caves he could activate them and drop the cave on the enemies. Not to mention the water these tunnels were holding up.

His primary plan was to just create a controlled smokescreen and run they best they could. They had no chance in a straight fight with these chuunin but if he could rob them of some sort of advantage he could would willing take it. He aimed high and assumed if the smoke rises. The smaller genin could get through quickly and still be able to remotely see the taller chuunin. His backup plan was to try and hold these chuunin off until the rest of the genin get out. Then unleash his paper bombs traps once they were in the clear. One thing was clear to Bakuto they had to get through this cavern and complete this mission and get back to the others.

This was what Bakuto wanted when he set out for this island that Pan had told him about. Finding the strongest people and fight them, yet as he took his stance to fight he kept extremely calm and quiet. This was much differnt, compared to the others he had faced this girl was differnt. Bakuto could tell she was stronger than he was, but yet he didn't know how much stronger she was. Kept in his position he was looking for some sort of opportunity to attack. This Lazuli warned him to keep up his guard and he wasnt prepare to drop it in any sort of fight. Bakuto's breathing went so shallow of one wasnt watching they would have assumed he just died. He stood there, he listened to the hermit Krillin cheer on his granddaughter, he seemed to embarrass her, it got to the point she looked down.

This was it! As soon as she dropped her guard for the second Bakuto sprung into action. His battles within the world tournament as taught him his own limits and weaknesses. He had what he thought was great speed but he didn't endurance for a long drawn out fight, if he wanted any chance he needed to hit her with everything he has got from the start.

Right into his afterimage approach, he bounced around running at his above average speed creating illusion clones of himself while getting himself up to speed. With the guard dropped this was the time to keep himself on the move so he can run up and hit Lazuli with all his the strength has while using the added momentum of his speed to give his first shot some extra strength.
