Tim shrugged his shoulders, then waved casually to Kyle. A mosquito then buzzed around his head. Tim looked up in shock, glancing around to see if he can catch it. Alas, no. Then he felt it on his skin. He tried slapping at his arm, but the buzzing of a content (and snarky) mosquito was still there. He muttered something extremely rude under his breath regarding the entire species. You win this time echoed inside his mind.

"More or less," muttered Kutur with a grimace. He's still slightly touchy about how he had little formal training, being forced to teach himself half the spells he knows. "Once I finish up my lessons, I would no doubt find people who need arcane assistance."

Note: the spells that Kutur gathers over time are rather closely based on D&D 5e spells, with the earth elemental spell being my only fully original one.

"Certainly. Somewhere in my book I scribbled in a Firebolt spell, a basic Telekineses spell, and a spell for making glowing balls of light. It's all very interesting, if you could somehow read through my absolutely awful handwriting." said Kutur, his voice getting a dreamy tone to it which always seems to appear when he talks about his learning progress.
