Kalinda let out a breath, glad she didn't have to subject herself to sitting here any long her struggling to stay in control and stable. She rose, grabbing her pack, shoving her hands in her pockets, and heading outside, shoulders slumped. Every movement seemed be painful, if you were watching her. She was tired and work down, and slightly off center, scared of herself.It had been so close. Even a fraction of a second slower in reacting, and she could have killed a classmate. She shuddered, but it just seemed like she was going through the motion then. She didn't go far, ending up sitting in the stairwell, and dropping her head into her hands,'eyes closed.

"Thanks" Kaiden said to Kijani. And then it was that moment he heard the bell ringing, signaling the end of PD. Kaiden was half relieved he wouldn't get his turn to fight and yet half disappointed he didn't get a chance to test his powers. He left the classroom feeling much more confidant than before. "See you around" he told Kijani. He wasn't eager to leave her, very comfortable now as they to to know each other a bit, but he wanted to move on to the next class.

Kaiden came to the stairwell, looking at his paperwork to see which class was next, when he saw Kalinda sitting on the stairs. He thought for a moment she was crying, the way she held her head in her hands, shoulders slumped, but as he walked closer she showed no other signs. She just looked exhausted. It wasn't fair that she had to fight such an intense fight, taking up all of PD. They should have time limits on their fights to alleviate students from over-exertion. Kaiden stopped right next to Kalinda and looked down to her. Her nudged her leg with his converse to get her attention. "Hey...you ok?" he asked.

Another heads up. I will be taking a short Hiatus from the RP. Short as in one day meaning tonight and tomorrow I won't have a post up....... I'm off Wednesday where I WILL post. Don't worry though, I know when a lot of people post these kind of things they just dissappear into a cloud of smoke but I promise I'm not going anywhere. Can't let this amazing story die off.

Hmm... perhaps Shay had an incestuous relationship with her brother Shane and then created Kaiden, whom they abandoned, where he was then raised alone by a widowed lady? I'm flinging together whatever I could find to make it fit. Although, that would mean Shay gave birth at 3 years old... Nope, not that way. Perhaps cousins? Or maybe Shay's brother survived and renamed himself Kaiden?

Lol gold star for creativity? No, Shane is much different than Kaiden. I changed his last name so no more confusion or wild incest speculations
