My RP motto is never apologize for quantity, only quality!

Good motto!
Yeah let me know if this gets CPR
Despite Marcus not having his other arm at the moment, his arm of flesh and blood holding strongly on to her, she still felt protected and safe. Marcus' arm didn't define him even though it was a large portion of who he was. Shay pulled back as Marcus did, opening her eyes to look at him in silence. She met his small smile with her own, brushing some of his wet hair off of his brow. Shay listened as he spoke. It wasn't much but it was sincere and from the heart, showing his true concern and care. He leaned in to him again as they embrace, resting her head on his chest for a moment. She listened to his heart beat and breathed deeply. After a moment that she wished would last forever she pulled back to look at him again. "Thank you. Thanks for coming to be with me, for leaving your post. I hope Mother wasn't upset. I...I didn't expect you to leave the gates simply for me but...when you did I was so grateful." It was hard to put in to words how appreciative she was. How much she cared for him. She could see now how much he cared for her. She gave him a full smile and a quick second kiss and then as she quickly pulled back her eyes widened. "Oh!" she cried out. "I left Shane's goggles at the hospital! Oh shit." her voice rang with panic. "We need to go back Marcus. I need those goggles, I can't lose then! Sun is still outside, he can get us back quickly." She quickly turned to the bed and grabbed her jacket, about to put it on until she looked to the large piece of metal that was Marcus' arm. "You'll probably want to put your arm back on, huh?" She looked at the metal arm than back to Marcus. "Does it hurt?" she asked simply, her eyes hovering over his shoulder with the missing arm; as she asked a wave of pain seemed to shock through her body, her ankle throbbing with a searing hot pain. She gave only a small visible wince, as she looked back to Marcus to see what he would say.
P.S. I'll keep Alex quiet then control Alex during the attack where in the very beginning he will be taken or go missing or something.
Beau looked to Daily as she asked about whether or not she was the only "chick" on this mission. Seeing as their meeting time had expired and the other expected young woman was no where to be seen, Beau figured Daily was indeed the only woman. But since her brazen attitude had carried her thus far he doubted this would be an issue. His protective nature instinctively made a mental note to keep an eye on her and keep her safe, although he figured she could probably kick his own ass if she got drunk enough. He looked at Daily as she took a small swig from her liquor bottle. "Maybe you should ease up on that Daily" he said, their names all known by now. "Save your strength for the mission."

Beau wasn't quite clear on how their mission was to play out. He was starting to feel like a fish in a fish bowl...being observed to see what their next move would be. He looked to Murry as he spoke of his explosives. He wasn't fond of these materials, due to how destructive and uncontrollable they were. His secret fear was blowing up a portion that might be where his daughter was being held. After raiding so many ET camps he had started to come to the conclusion that his daughter might be being held by the ETs close to their heart, their home, like a protected pet. He didn't know why as Rain had never show any display of powers, but being convinced she was still alive gave him this only logical explanation to fall back on. To get to Rain he would need to get close to the ETs....and not just the ETs but their leader, their source.

Beau was broken from his thoughts as Mark spoke. He said something he didn't like to hear. ...we sneak in, blow the place to shit, and disappear before back-up arrives... Beau turned his eyes on to Mark, a look of concern evident on his face, his racing thoughts kept quietly to himself. There was no chance he would simply attack and leave. He was going in deep and looking for Rain, his daughter, find her and free her. He would sneak away from the team once they got close for their attack if that's what it took. He has plenty of years of stealth experience to pull it off. Beau's thoughts drew back to Mark as he asked the group if anyone else had stealth powers.

Before anyone could speak, the group became aware of Darren affectionately handling Mark's secret special box. Beau tilted his head and glanced to Mark, waiting for him to throw a fit for the thieving act. Then Todd came in and shared interest in the same box. Beau wondered why he was interested when he knew he had the powers to simply look and figure it out for himself.

Beau had an idea for their plan but wanted to hear from others before he spoke. Expecting Mark to join Darren and Todd to retrieve his box, Beau turned to the group and looked at Eli. He had been rather quiet. Beau walked towards him and placed his hand on his shoulder to ensure he knew he was speaking directly to him. He kept his voice clear and loud without forcing a shout as he said "I'd like to hear what your thoughts are Eli. Any ideas for our plan of attack?" Beau glanced to Daily and Alex, the others, and looked back to Eli. It was important they had a leader for their group but it was even more important that they worked together as a cohesive and communicative group.
Story of our lives right? Hope everything works out. I'll do my best to keep the peace. Just let us know when you're back.
You can PM your ideas and guidelines to keep the rp in the direction you want.

Making a post now.
Shay watched as Alex quickly turned away with his group to avoid talking to her, leaving Shay standing alone in the hallway. Shay narrowed her brow, not amused by Alex's avoidance. Whatever, Shay thought to herself, turning around and swining her blade to rest over her shoulder as she turned 180 to walk the other direction. I don't have time to deal with people like them anyway. I'm so close to a promotion to the Silver Division then I'll never have to see his stupid face ever again.

Shay knew of Sammy, as did everyone, but she also knew Sammy was the one who grouped and delegated for missions. If you wanted a chance for a good mission you kept close to Sammy and did your best never to piss her off. Shay had done both, the latter being very hard due to Shay's brazen nature.

Shay kept walking, people entering the hallway dodging her swaying sword as it rest in a backhanded grip upon her shoulder. Shay was making her way towards Sammy, eager and impatient for work and the chance for a promotion to the Silver Division. She turned a sharp corner, her sword swinging around and forcing Velcro Man to jump backwards and drop all of his paperwork; that put a grin on Shay's face as she heard his folders scatter noisily across the floor. One less competitor to deal with for promotion.

Finally, Shay came to the meeting room where Sammy was. Apparently she had company. Normally she did so Shay was not surprised but did not recognize the young female. Shay's dark blue eyes scanned over Kanata, peering through strands of her dark long bangs. Shay's eyes moved to the other person in the room, an generic male intern that she didn't recognize either....although she might have seen him before. Or was she thinking of another intern that must have looked like him. Shay mentally shrugged and focused on who she came here to see. Sammy.

"Hey Sammy!" Shay called out brightly, interrupting whatever conversation was going on between her and the young Japanese girl. "I'm ready for another mission. Class A. I'm ready for the next level for my Silver promotion." She paused. "You know I'm ready for this." she added eagerly, wanting to make her point very clear.
