Bio/Personality: Baylen is at odds with himself. His cognitive dissonance comes from wanting to be alone most of the time while still desiring companionship and social situations. This constant juxtaposition puts a lot of stress on him while people in general wear his patience thin. To keep his sanity he finds a balance through his work and recharging in solitude when needed. His parents split when he was young. He ended up living with his mother but essential grew up on his own. With her drunk late nights and pill-riddled days he learned how to fend for himself. Often his mother, in her inebriated stupors, would verbally assault him. Her boyfriends chipped in with physical abuse when she wasn't looking. He wanted to care for his mom but her constant selfishness pushed him away. As soon as he was able to, at age 15, he left his mom for good and has been on his own ever since. Currently he's working on a book and spends most of his time in places where he can watch and listen to people interact for ideas. He is a great listener and empathizes easily. He can be loyal but will not give second chances if burned once.

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a rp partner who can take on an advanced rp (meaning longer posts and character depth but nothing too excessive) but is ok with longer times between posts. I have a busy schedule so it may take me longer to complete a post. Generally I can post 1-3 days but if things get hectic I might take a week. Having someone who can rp on Skype works even better.
I enjoy building characters and story lines with multiple, changing plot twists. I especially love building a story with another person. Thus my favorite types of rps to start are rather ambiguous, having just a general idea of the direction of the story that we can build off of instead of a pre-set story.
I love sci-fi (as long as it's mildly grounded in reality), fantasy, action, some romance if it makes sense in story but not as the base, drama, violence, and some gore and torture. I don't care for canon, tv based or sexually explicit rps. A story with a roller coaster of highs and lows is what thrills me, the build up to a plot twist being just as exciting as the twist itself.
I play my main characters as male and will play multiple characters and genders.

Hey guys so sorry for the absence. Work got super crazy with some new projects. I'm not going to be able to continue. I don't think I'll post frequently enough to fairly participate. My character can just decide to leave or something. Argh! Adulting sucks sometimes.
