Rachel had been looking through one of the books again while you were helping the customer. She handed you the book she'd beennlooking at. On the page she sowed you was a mark quite similar to your tattoo. It explained what it was and in detail what each section of the tattoo did. "I guessed it was time when you finally addressed me before I came to the counter myself."

Hi and welcome!
I started roleplaying about 18 years ago and have recently returned to it because I missed it. I most like adventurous sci fi and fantasy, or more slice of life to action action filled modern day magic and mutants. I'm not into fandoms anymore and I'm not looking for romance roleplays either.
Often people create dark characters with heavy pasts. I do that sometimes too, but my character will then have a 'that's just life. Deal with it' attitude instead of feeling sorry for themselves. I also enjoy playing characters without such a heavy past. I enjoy the sciences so playing a scholar or mechanic is right up my alley. I also practise martial arts, but thougg I oike playing fighters, they are more the stealth characters than the muscled ones. I don't like hormonal (teenage) characters. I don't take death lightly so unless I'm playing an assassin my characters will look for ways to avoid murder.
Lastly, I love being a GM and controlling an entire world. I have some sci fi and modern fantasy worlds in my mind which I would like to play out here. I'm also a regular player, mostly casual where description is limited to what's necessary rather than describing every step, scent, bite or thought that occurs.

She studied your tattoo with great interest for a moment. Suddenly she wlked to the bookshelf next to the magic section, grabbed a book and handed it to you. "You should go help your customer." She barely finished her setence before tge door bell chimed and a middle-aged woman walked in.
"Maybe it's magic." Rachel smiled at the pun, but she sounded sincere, as if she truly believed it.

"Ah, right." If you'd been around Sumarions -and since a large group of them lived among these regions that was quite possible- you'd notice by his voice that the young man was still an adolescent. And if you hadn't gathered it from the add that said his pilot was on honeymoon or the fact that he could spend 1000 credits on a piloting job, you could see by his clothes that he was of rich descent.
"Well, you were quick to reply, so I guess you can have the job. I'm so glad I found someone on such short notice! That board works neat! So I want to leave here early tomorrow morning. I was thinking 7am since the convention starts at 10. You'll take me there and at the end of the day you'll take me back. The convention is two days, but dad won't let me miss my tutor tomorrow so I can only stay a day." He sounded quite didappointed about that. "I'll send you the address where you'll be expected."

Rachel shruggen. "You mean other than the fact that I've been visiting this shop for a while now?" If you helped your parents out before they died, you might have noticed she started showing up just after their deaths. If you hadn't been able to do that, she would just be anothe regular customer to you.
"I see." Said Rachel. "Well, if these books were hers, could it be she practised wiccan?"
"I like books." Rachel looked at the potion book she'd been looking at earlier. And when I saw these in your shop I knew I had to come back here." She looked over the collection before looking up at you again. "Your mother sounds like a special woman."
