We'll paint the scene, we'll write the melody. We are the creators.

Bio

I'm Bobert, I like to roleplay, and I wouldn't be here otherwise. I enjoy creating unconventional characters, as I like to explore the different ways they might interact with others. Automatons are a favorite, 'beep bop' goes the robot.

If you're still reading this, that's cool. Hope you have a nice day

Name: Xeno Species: Sableye Gender: Male Level: 8 Moves: -Nightshade -Leer -Scratch -Zen Headbutt Bio: Xeno was never good socially, something evident to his brethren upon hatching deep within the Crystal Chasm. Unlike the other sableye that would seek to go live independent lives, Xeno was constantly bothering someone with his constant chatter which caused great annoyance for the other members of his species. Sableye are solitary pokemon and don't generally live near one another if they can avoid it, so eventually a few had had enough of Xeno and began more 'insistently' getting him to leave them alone. Given the cold shoulder by anyone he'd known Xeno was forced deeper and deeper into the dark fissure he occupied, eventually forced to make his home far off from anyone. There weren't many crystals this far, the raw gems an essential part of a sableye's diet, and when he began to run low instinct told him to dig for more food. Every day Xeno's tunnels grew deeper, ores of various kinds being unearthed each day and eventually Xeno came across something he liked; coal. The gritty, black rocks were unique and Xeno found he quite liked the taste, digging for more as they began to make up more of his diet. Still a growing pokemon his development was altered, his skin becoming darker and the gems on his body became dark and cloudy. He was a picture of impurity, and further shunned by his species which only lead to greater seclusion within his tunnels. Then one day, the earth couldn't take his digging anymore and the network he'd called a home collapsed. Barely escaping being crushed Xeno fled his home and left behind all he knew, his emergence not being taken lightly by the other sableye nearby. Claws covered in coal dust Xeno dashed away from those who had tried to bury him, leaving the Crystal Chasm and for the first time in his life walking out into the light of day. His eyes tinted black the light didn't hurt him as much as it should have, and unsure where to go followed the strange pathway that lead away from the cave. Appearance: Xeno is several shades darker than most sableye, allowing him better camouflage in the dark especially with his duller eyes. The gemstones on his body also appear cloudier and darker, as opposed to being shiny due to his altered diet. Differences: Xeno has the bonus innate ability 'tinted lense', allowing 'not very effective' attacks to deal twice the damage they would normally do. This is in addition to the standard 'keen eye' and 'prankster' abilities. ((Done :D))
> You can, indeed join in, sir. Hm... as far as where everyone is... Spruce and Co are in Allure Town, about to visit Celes' family, Anthony and Co are in the middle of a currently unlisted dungeon, going through a bunch of puzzles, and William and Co have just finished capturing a thief. Neat :). I'll get started on my app now but might not be able to post it until later. Thanks :P
Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I remember some of you guys XP. Would it be alright if I joined in? I know it says always accepting but I think it's polite to ask :). If I'm able to join could I ask what's happening just to give me an idea of what's going on? That way I can be as disruptive as possible.
> Holy heck 22 ic post? What did I miss and where?! I don't know how but I missed the story progression post p.q I apologize! Not a whole lot, just the ball starting to role. Easy to catch up with :).
> We're closed for new characters, as far as I know ^^ Alright then :). Have fun, guys. If this turns out not to be the case I'd appreciate being let know through a PM if it isn't much trouble ;)
Are you guys still accepting? This sounds like a pretty cool concept and the story I suppose is already rolling.
"No wonder this got thrown out," Jacob muttered, peeling open the sandwich to see what it was that was making the thing smell so off. It was the mayonnaise, a few maggots squirming around on the sticky bottom piece of bread. His mood down the gutter Jacob held back a belch, peeling away the bottom half of the sandwich and dropping it back in the garbage. The rest of it looked alright, though it was obvious the thing had been in there at least a day. "_Careless children. They never really know how good they really have things_," someone muttered unhappily, causing Jacob to turn around yet again. It got annoying really, but if someone was behind him he deserved to know. With a huff of annoyance Jacob folded his find in half, taking a bite and swallowing quickly as he could. "Curdon Cay screw ups, not stopping to think about the people who didn't have a life to go back to," he grumbled unhappily, his adulthood around the corner with nothing to show for it. "_It's a shame really_," someone agreed, this time Jacob ignoring them as he walked off back towards the city. The rest of the day was his and he had nothing to do. Oddly enough he began to rethink the girl's offer; it would have been something to do at least for a little while.
As soon as the girl had walked far enough away, Jacob let out the breath he'd been holding in. Everything became eerily silent without the conversation all of a sudden, and Jacob nearly jumped out of his skin when something screamed in his ear. Whirling around to see what it was Jacob was met with a still empty park, his breathing a little irregular now. "Back to business I suppose," he muttered to himself, putting his hands into his hoodie and walking down one of the paths he hadn't gone down yet to find the next garbage bin.
Jacob just stared, his eyes looking glassy and unfocused while his clenched fist trembled. Whatever it was about this girl, Jacob saw her as a bad omen. Again and again, voices shout at him from her direction, some siding with her and some against her. For a moment Jacob's vision cracked, a slender and unhappy looking shadow holding a hand on the girl's throat. He knew it wasn't real, but ever time he actually saw shadows he knew it wouldn't be long before others could see them too. "No," was all he could manage to say, lowering his arm and keeping both of them at his side firmly. Again the shadow flashed, this time leaning carelessly on the girls head with a crooked smile on it's face. It disappeared from view with the blink of an eye, and Jacob's gaze regained it's focus. "No. Whatever it was you wanted the answer is no," he said sternly, a depressed sigh sounding from behind the girl. _Half an hour. Half an hour until you pills kick in_, he thought, wanting the hallucinations to stop for just one day. ((Just for 100% clarity the shadows and voices aren't there; just a product of the mind until they absorb something to give them shape))
> Bobert, I tried looking for The Gifted on the Minecraft Forums, but didn't find it; well, I found an RP by the same name, but it had a different premise. Different premise but it was the same sort of thing. I guess it's one of those things you often see with super heros; there's like 10 spidermans but they're all the same XP. I'll be on my way then :).
