We'll paint the scene, we'll write the melody. We are the creators.

Bio

I'm Bobert, I like to roleplay, and I wouldn't be here otherwise. I enjoy creating unconventional characters, as I like to explore the different ways they might interact with others. Automatons are a favorite, 'beep bop' goes the robot.

If you're still reading this, that's cool. Hope you have a nice day

I actually get to sleep in a motel for a little while since the stock trucks don't have power for a bit :P. I really hope I find a lifeless furry friend when we open the trucks again later today
[Tirñea]

The young beast master smiled again as Serena grabbed her things and began heading towards the stone arch leading out of the city, with Veronica trailing fairly close behind her. It seemed a little too lucky that she'd managed to catch them at such a perfect time, and for that reason Tirñea remained just a bit suspicious, but for now they seemed worth trusting.

As the two of them departed, from beside her Jamie called out to either of them as he began moving towards the road. "I gotta grab a few things, I'll be right with you all," he shouted, turning away and rushing off further into the city. Tirñea took this as her cue to get moving, shutting her eyes for a moment and breathing deeply before she started towards the gate. As she walked beneath the arch, she turned back briefly to look at the large tower in the distance and made a note of wanting to return for a visit.

Just outside Veronica and Serena had already finished loading a few things onto a cart, drawn by a pair of horses that waited patiently to be commanded forward. A few tribes back home had horses to carry their things, but they were more common further south and beyond the badlands. As she approached the cart Tirñea took the opportunity to interact with the animals, moving past where her new companions waited and going around to face the beasts. They were powerful looking animals, well trained too as neither payed Tirñea any mind even as she crossed right in front of them.

After a few moments of staring up at the animals, she managed to make eye contact with one and gained it's attention. Her mentor had explained that the eyes were a window to the soul, and could be used to better see how to reach out to a creature. Within the horse Tirñea could see a sense of dutiful pride, and slowly she extended her free arm up towards it's muzzle. Reaching out with her mind she maintained eye contact with the horse, trying to find it's thoughts and feelings as it stared down at her. For a moment she thought she felt something, but when her arm drew close enough that she could almost touch the beast the horse snorted and turned away it's head.

Though she had been ready to try again, it was then that she heard Jamie calling out, the man rushing through the gates clad in leather armour with a bag thrown over his shoulder. Tirñea began walking to the rear of the cart again, overhearing Jamie's quick jest regarding the luxury of their ride before he climbed aboard. Before she boarded the cart herself, Tirñea moved away to give herself some space and took hold of her staff with both hands. Quickly she swung it into the ground around her, alternating between the two ends as she thwaked the earth six times each in a different place. With a short twirl she returned her staff to an upright position and hastily came back to the cart, climbing aboard and moving to the side but staying near the back. She could already sense Sierpe nearby, their minds always tethered so long as they weren't too far apart. But to be sure he followed she'd need to smack the ground a few more times from out of the back as they departed, the wurm used to following her footsteps rather than the sounds of a cart.

[Calieo]

Calieo had watched the rock monster advance, her heart leaping at the thought that this man's head was about to be turned to red paste. Such a thing didn't happen though, the stranger clad in black sliding past the monster and readying his weapon to fire some sort of pointed projectile. What such a tiny thing would do to a being of stone was laughable, but the woman clad in black armour called off her monster before Calieo could see this man fail.

"Disappointing," the knight murmured under her breath, watching as the stone creature began to return to it's master. The man in black still stood there, weapon ready though he didn't seem eager to fire it anymore. The ashen skinned woman began to speak again, babbling about some pointless chore before getting to anything important. "I'll be at the East gate. Make haste with whatever unfortunate chore it is you feel is more important than the fate of your world," Calieo huffed, letting the merchant and her servant creature depart. Before turning away Calieo gave the stranger in black one more glance, her stare stern lipped and judgemental as he began shuffling off.

Calieo moved hastily through the streets of Falke, doing her best to remember the way out of the city. She would head East every chance she'd get, often being stopped by a fork in the road that would demand she take a new direction. Though to many the sun was invisible today Calieo could still find it, the light above ever so slightly more intense where it hid behind the sheet of grey. Though she had no idea what an hourglass was, Calieo assumed she had made good time as she quickly marched down street after street, eventually coming to the massive wood and iron gates that let people in and out of this oversized stone box. They remained open, people coming and going every once and a while with armoured guards stopping those that sought to enter. Already feeling impatient with her guide, Calieo turned to face the streets she'd come from and waited for the merchant to show herself again. Shielded arm at her side and her free hand resting near the loop and clip that held her weapon in place, the gilded knight watched with cold and empty eyes for the stone creature to make an appearance.
One of our drivers bailed so I ended up behind the wheel yesterday. We have a few things to do today now that we're arrived but I'll have time for a post at some point :)
Gonna work on a post later today, tomorrow, whatever. We're driving to the next location tomorrow so that's 9 hours of time to work with.

If I don't see anything from Celtic I'll get him onto the wagon. I'd imagine Jamie needs to grab his armour and such before departing but that's easy to wedge in :)
So I have good news. I've obtained a way to consistently have Internet, at least far more frequently than what I've been working with. I'm still pretty busy, but I can keep up with posts better and getting my own posts out isn't as much of a windowed opportunity anymore. So yay to that :)
[Calieo]

The merchant's laugh suprised the gilded knight, and she immediately took offense to her response. If it weren't for her perch atop that stone beast Calieo would have gutted her for such disrespect. Her armour left her stomach exposed, an appealing choice from a stylistic point of view, but moronic given how weak mortal flesh could be. Not wanting to allude her violent intentions Calieo kept her expression stern and unamused, waiting for a proper response from the merchant.

When she did speak again, the fact that she wasn't overly concerned with currency was a bit of a surprise but beneficial considering Calieo had none. Her informal agreement to the knight's offer was of greater interest however, and brought the slightest grin to Calieo's otherwise serious visage. The merchant seemed to lack confidence in Calieo's request though, another insult, but she'd learn respect if the two were to travel together. "Doubt is for those with trivial goals in life. I know what I want and will have it, I need you only to show me where to go," the gilded warrior explained, her temper being tested again when the merchant's attention went elsewhere.

While the merchant had her eyes elsewhere, Calieo blew off a little steam by raising her shielded arm and dragging the sabre through the air in line with the woman's neck. Necks were vulnerable, something she didn't appreciate about her own armour, but she'd done the best she could crafting it with all the information she could compile. Calieo lowered her arm as the merchant returned her attention to where it was deserved, and briefly thought about gutting her again now that she'd sent her rock creature off to do something. Such ideas were reinforced when the merchant drew closer, and her invasiveness had Calieo about ready to try bludgeoning her to death. The only indication of displeasure she let through was the slightest twitch of her lip, and she inhaled deeply when their faces drew close together. When the merchant didn't move away Calieo took a step back herself, bringing her new guide back to reality and eliciting another response. "The sooner we depart the better," Calieo muttered, her attention being dragged to the commotion only a short ways away.
Posted for Tirñea, and I see that I can write a post for Calieo. I'll see if I can do that before I lose Internet again :)
[Tirñea]

When Serena introduced herself Tirñea smiled and nodded in her direction, listening as she began to shed light on the reason these three had been gathered near the gates. The fact that she was a teacher caught the Piñuran girls attention, Serena and Veronica looking to be about the same age which was somewhat suprising. Perhaps Veronica was new to whatever trade they were participating in, which could explain why she was the only one in armour.

The offer to join these people was tempting, and Tirñea looked down at her map again to better grasp what traveling across the continent would be like. Though she didn't know these people in the slightest they all seemed polite and respectable, and while their destination was a mystery Tirñea knew she had to start her adventure somehow. Then there was the added bonus of being 'rewarded' should she be able to aid them in whatever their mission was, the nature of which also unknown but would more than likely be explained. It all seemed like a good idea, and worst case scenario if they turned out to be dangerous people Tirñea figured they could all be worm food.

Upon returning her attention to Serena, Tirñea was met with an empty and serious pair of eyes looking her up and down. The woman's earlier personality returned after a moment, and she continued to explain her offer by outlining the possible downsides of declining. Tirñea thought about all that had been said for a moment, then nodded to herself before giving an answer.

"I think," she began, starting to fold her map into it's compacted little square, "If you would not care that I join you, I will be happy to come along." With that Tirñea brought herself to smile again, and she quicky put her map away so she could slide her pack back on. Lastly she knelt down to retrieve her staff, pulling the cudgel upright and leaning into it a little as she stood up. "I have only just arrived at the city, so I am ready already to leave again," she smiled, letting the weight of her staff gently tilt itself back and forth in her grasp.
With the rate IC posts come out, I should be able to keep up decently well, even if my chances at WiFi are spotty. I can screenshot posts on my phone, write my replies, and post them next time I get Internet.

If there ends up being WiFi at whatever event I'm at, all the better, but worst case scenario I'm on and off the grid every few day's (hopefully). The fair we're set up at now opens tomorrow so fingers crossed for free Internet.

Been spending the last few days cleaning and setting up the food trucks, and that was... a lot of work to say the least, but it's mostly done now :P. I'll see what I can reply to, then take a look at the religion section and put it up before I leave where I'm at right now :)
Heeeeeey everyone. So lavulman and Aisle already know some of the details, but since my plane leaves tomorrow I should tell all of you too. I got a new job, and the first two months of work have me going all the way South into the States. I don't have cell data there, and don't know yet what the status of WiFi will be, but I'll be staying as active as I can here since it'll be something to do when I'm not at work :P.

Including spaces, that paragraph has 420 characters in it and I thought that was worth sharing.
