I actually live in town and I know what barrel racing is. Actually a lot of people who live in the country know what barrel racing is....wait I live in Kansas so.......well then again I have met some kids in my class who don't know what barrel racing is when we have the rodeo here in town during the fair (which then my backyard smells like horse poo because the rodeo stadium's basically right behind my house.) and the there's the Longford Rodeo which I think that's coming up soon actually....

I actually own a horse. I just never see her because she lives up with my grandparents. Either way I can't ride her either. She's not broke anymore. Hasn't been since I was little.

Barrel racing is a rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to complete a clover-leaf pattern around preset barrels in the fastest time. Though both boys and girls compete at the youth level and men compete in some amateur venues, in collegiate and professional ranks, it is primarily a rodeo event for women.Made that up myself from memory... yep.... expert me....
