Se moved to Japan to live with her grandparents and turned to gaming for comfort. She loved to play MMOs and RPG but her grandparents were poor so she was always stealing money from where ever and whoever she could. Which was easy for her because she was so thin and small. When SAO came out she was the first person in line at her local gaming store with the help of someone in the line. She's been in the game since the first day.

She was one of the beta testers for SAO and joined the millions trapped in the game the day after she learned that her best friend was in the game but she joined too late because when she joined she learned that her friend had died. She wants to finish SAO for her best friend and all the others who died.
