Drake staggered forward to the sharp surprise blow to his head. "Ahg! What are you doing?" He took some paces back away from her as he recovered from the blow, his head now throbbing. He took a defensive stance. "Stand down, Beth! I don't want to hurt you! Tell me what's come over you." He was seeing double after that first strike so he closed his left eye.

"I have to Drake!" Bethy said as tears stared falling down her face. "If I don't do this Eli and Ris will most likely be killed! I have a plan and I need to follow through." She said the grip on her sword tightening

Mia plopped down onto her bed and sighed. The lack of being able to start fires was slowly pulling her more into insanity

just gonna put this out there, the flat side of even a regular sword won't do much to knock someone out. The pommel, however, is useful in this regard.

I'll go and fix that really quick.

A guard dragged Sammy up from her seat and the voices took control and her pupils became large and she screeched.

Drake walked into the room and saw nothing... he pondered for a moment. The room was incredibly blank with nothing inside of it. "What is it?... Need help moving in or something? I think you could have waited until tomorrow, er well.,"he stammered, noticing it was already dawn, "After I had some sleep."Ander saw the HQ on the horizon. He didn't have the intention of attacking just yet. But there was someone he needed to see, and no stories this time. he wanted to see them in person.Jared looked at the whole in the ground and casually sealed it off. "My God, what a bunch of sniveling whelps. Remind me to start putting tissues in people's cells, Algon." He took a small, flat, glass piece out from his pocket. It was linked to one of his mechanical birds that was flying close to Bethy. He watched as they walked into the trap room. "Looks like Drake will be here any second now," he said as he put away the glass piece.

Bethy turned to Drake her had her sword in s short sword form behind her back. "I'm so sorry." She said as she brought the bunt side of her sword down on Drake's head with quick speed.

Eli looked at ris and wanted to cry. She was trying so hard to help him. He looked at the drink for a moment and took a sip

Ris stared at her hands as she forced herself not to cry. She had to remember the plan.

Ursa laughed.Before the conversation could be continued, however, a tall, distinguished looking man entered the room, and without paying any attention to Sammy, whispered something in Ursa's ear."What, now?" he asked surprised."Yes. If you wish, I could stay with the girl." he said without showing any emotion."Uh..." Ursa looked at Sammy than back at him. "I guess that would be best." He turned to Sammy. "I have to go take care of some business, I'll be back as soon as I can." he sighed, then left the room.The man nodded, and watched Ursa leave the room. Then looked at Sammy."I will take you to the guest's quarters. You can await the king there." he said flatly.

"O-okay." Sammy said finishing her sandwich quickly then standing up
