Yeah, I rushed her out the gate a bit so I could have her out for look and critique before I stepped away from the cpu for the rest of the evening.

I'd say those are mostly fair critiques, and I will likely post Cinis for this game if a 'C' name is still needed. But I will also go ahead and address the comments given I don't think I'll be able to sleep till I do lol. As soon as I posted this character I was already super iffy about most of the things ya'll brought up.

Glad you like that name :D sad it doesn't fit, should have re-read the FP closer, my bad. I did choose the description poorly. I picture to have this strong but lonely sort of face, reminiscent of a solitary hunter. Went with wolf because bats have wolf like faces. again my bad.

Sorry, had meant to add the symbol link, must have forgotten in my haste. this is it writhed in a ribbon.

KNIGHT! That was the word I was looking for! Thank you, that much better suits her.

I struggled ALOT with having the weapon turn into a gun, with the whole blind thing. Went with a berreta simply because its the more recognizable gun, but yeah a smaller caliber would make more sense. Though, if she is to be introduced later after refining I personally think I would remove the gun transformation all together and make it so the head launches off, connected to the staff chain of significant length making it a flail or sorts as well as a grappling hook perhaps? Though when pyrra's weapon is a sword, spear, and a rifle I feel like a full length bec de corbin, especially given I described the proportions of the head to be much larger than a traditional one, could become a gun. But again, I don't think I would have her use a fire arm in a polished version.

And yeah, I am generally unhappy with this rendition of her back story. Especially the hunter scene, was focused way to much involving that trigger for hunting I guess. Can't argue with the fact that it over all doesn't fit with her later personality. And yeah realistically her burns would have been worst, but it is unnecessary to the character for them to be that much worst. Fleshing it out more would be that her mom was the target and she only got hit with enough to burn her eyes and good chunk the area above them due to proximity would likely help with that issue if it is really a important one.

Though again I don't feel it is any less realistic that say Blake being an apparent orphan as far as we can tell running with a violent activist group?

As for your comments @Madninja324

I think your over thinking the weapon realism in a rwby game a bit much. I mean, Ruby herself has a weapon that would weigh an impossible amount to be handled with the grace, speed, and elegance she does. I mean she is 14-15 in the series right? Yet she can cut through a whole tree with no effort with one handed swing? Withstand the recoil of a sniper rifle so strong it can launch her and effect her entire bodies momentum? But my ballerina (one of the more physically demanding dances) cant wield a pole arm that would be the collective third of that kind of mass and weight with equal ease?

I see Bijou wielding the weapon kind of as it is; a combination staff, hammer, ax, spear. Just as ballet is a combination of forms and positions ranged to make a dance. Her weapon, when wielded with the wild exaggerated prowess of a character in the rwby universe would have an incredible sense of rhythm and style. Hack, smash, stab. One two three. Swing, thrust, cut.

She likely still has some edges that need to be smoothed out but here she is with all of the profile filled out. Let me know what ya'll think.
I would be down for some magical girl fun.
And so the Kiltman Come-ith. Return...ith. Whatever... I am going to see if I can quickly put together a different character than Cinis and see if she passes muster. If not, well there is always still Cinis ;D
Oh no trasfer student Sharkboy sempai has bumped into me -dokidoki-

Perhaps. Though at such a point we may as well do a colab.
Painfully short post. Sadly none of my team mates seemed to catch my ask for help in the OOC a page or so back, so meh. A post is a post I suppose.
As the interactions between the masked fellow and the armored armed boy concluded, Cinis noted the tension in the person she had st next to. For what ever reason they seemed to be less focused on their book than they were when she had first made her way over here. She noted her stiff posture and the hand slipped in her pocket as if she was fingering some sort of weapon. With a frown Cinis said "We are all just students here, I seriously doubt anyone wants to cause trouble for any one. Lest of all I..." -unless someones is in my way I suppose but no sense in telling her that- she thought to herself. She rose from her seat and adjusted the shield on back. "Fair warning...I get that kind of paranoia will get you in trouble one day. At a minimum you'll have trouble finishing your book if your always looking over your shoulder." With that bit of unsolicited advice Cinis began making her way off the airship with all the others. No sense in lingering with people that either didn't need her help, or apparently, didn't want any company.
Getting some writers block. I do know I want to interact with one of my future team members. Any suggestions from any of ya'll?
Bump cause damn I'm craving more rwby, and fandoms in general, in my life.
There was a flinching twitch in her eye and a flash of well controlled anger at the comment about her dealing with the same sort of smell stuff as she did. But as someone who was raised to be a future member of a ruthless family of organized criminals. One doesn't so easily get angered by a simple ignorant comments by uneducated little shits. That is, of course still she was called crow. Her eyes went wide and she shot up to her feet and glared daggers at the boy, her fists clenched violently into fists. "Don't you Dare call me 'Crow, Miss Crow, or crow ANYTHING!" she pointed a dramatic finger at the boy and growled "I am Ivy Katrina Raven, of the Raven family. Call me a damned dirty crow again and I'll make sure that people will be finding pieces of you scattered across the next four countries!" She seethed angrily for a few more seconds before seemingly to realize her outbursts. She took a slight step back and cleared her throat and striated out her outfit.

"Sorry about that stranger, Just...Call me Raven, Black Bird, Even Birdy if you need a nick name. Just don't call me crow." As she calmed down she noted that the boy hadn't seemed particularly phased by her outburst of anger. Rather he seemed to be distracted by something...or someone. She took a glance in the direction and her eyes focused on the muscular man looking their way with a hungry sort of leer. She had seen that sort of look before, though this one got under her skin in a more significant way than normal. She could feel her heart rate increase a bit, and the odd twist of uncertainty in her belly. She took her seat again, slipping out one of her smaller daggers and casually using it to clean beneath her finger nails. A subtle way to 'bear her talons' so to speak. Remind any who thought of getting in her way that she wasn't a helpless girl if she made it this far. "So, What do I call you stranger? Besides smelly I guess."
