G3nji! come back! I am eager to get this started but I don't want to jump straight to making my own thread and stealing all the people who posted interest here >.<
Yeah, I felt like OP games popped up far more often on the old board ( was in like two befor it died) so if dordnu get off the ground I'll likely try to make my own lol
I'm always down for some OP. No ideas pop-off the top of my head, but I'll let you know if anything strikes me.
Fist post is up. Have at it my friends. I'll give people a chance to interact and establish relationships between characters...then your first monster will be showing up. Hope you all are prepared.
It was early morning in Mountain City. No one was up yet besides the birds and those unfortunate few that had to get the local coffee shops up and running for the 'get to work' rush. No one else, except Balas. The red-skin gem had just left her room from inside the labyrinthine temple. She was the first, as she often was, to 'get up' in the morning. Not that she slept of course. non of the gems, save for their half-human ones, had to sleep. But Even semi-immortal magical warriors needed alone time.

She stretched out her back taking in a deep breath of the fresh morning air as she stepped into their rather normal looking lake-house-style living area. She had built it for when Gems she was in charge of were to young or inexperienced to handle living in the temple itself. Without the proper knowledge or strength the temple could be just as dangerous as any mission after all. But her Gems were all at 'journeyman' status now. They could handle the temple well enough, though their rooms were are in the more mundane areas of it of course. So this house had become something of a lounge and meeting area for them since.

She walked out to the balcony and looked out over the morning scene. It was a bright, clear, sunny morning. The lake looked especially calm this morning as well. "Ah..." Balas said in her slightly accent voice, it was hard to place exactly where the accent came from, but given she had been alive for thousands of years, it was unsurprising she had developed one "What a Lovely morning'...."

A small smirk curled up on her features, a fiery glint shown in her eyes "Just the kind of morning for something big, ugly, and evil to rear its head. Well, only time will tell I guess." She said with a chuckle. She then went inside and proceeded to make pancakes. She had gotten into the habit of cooking up breakfast since she was always the first one out of the temple.
Very sorry for the lack of activity, busy week. Super tired. I'll try to get the first post up soon if people are still interested.
well...kingdom hearts has only the 3 primary protagonists...so why not?
Soooooo....thoughts on the latest MLP season anyone?
*Uses a Phoenix down on IC*
Reva developed a slight scowl at the mundane explanation the girl had offered her. Reva knew her claim was ridiculous, but to be saying she survived having her heart ripped from her body and devoured by a creature mad up of anger and darkness while the entire world had gone mad as it had, she'd either have to be telling the truth or completely mad herself. And she had hoped people wouldn't assume she was mad. It was so hard to get help answers when people were afraid you might snap, kill them, skin them, then hang the skin up to dry out into jerky to feed to the monsters. Though given how quickly She formulated that scenario in her mind, perhaps she really wasn't completely sane either. Though could a person with out their emotions really be sane at all?

"That would be a decent enough explanation, where my memory at fault. But it is not." Reva replied quite plainly. "And as you may have remember me saying, I have done more than just 'changed' on the inside. I'm changed on the outside to. I rather don't like doing demonstrations. Doing this trick can be tiring...and people tend to freak out when I do it. But if it'll help convince my claims to you." She said, stretching out her hand and closing her eyes. Her brow furrowed in concentration and for a second nothing happened.

Then everyone around her felt a slight pull. Nothing serious, almost like their clothing had gotten caught on some invisible corner. Not nearly enough to make them move or even react, the they could recognize that the pull had happened. At the same instant as that the space before her outstretched hand seemed to bend and warp, turning for a second into a black ball. Then an instant later, with a metallic like noise, the ball stretched out and took the shape of a large, pitch black mace. She held it as lightly as a child would hold a stick in her hand despite how the large weapon was nearly her own height in length. Any weapon made of iron or steel of that size would be impossible for a normal human to hold so easily. "This...Is Burdened Shade. My weapon. I don't know where it comes from, how I summon it, or why I know what it's called. And as far as I can tell it is made out of gravity magic. And I can use it to manipulate gravity in very nontraditional ways. This, and the fact that I am a great deal stronger and durable than I was before the heartless attack, is what I mean by being 'changed on the outside'. So...does anyone know anything about any of this? Because I sure as heck don't."
