Hey Noel. I would quite glad to have your skills and input on this game.

I left how involved cannon characters are with this new academy intentionally vague. I have no plans to involve cannon characters in the plot of this game or even to really have them around the academy at all. I believe they are all off living their own lives and doing their own things, that they more or less founded the school then left it be. But I am not against them making a brief 1 to 3 post cameo. However that would only be if it would perfectly fit into the direction the game was going. I have no intentions of shoehorning cannon characters into this game and I would prefer if we focused on your own characters entirely.

I also agree with the star system mattering, that is where I lean for this game. Would be very boring if there was no room for growth after all.
Seen ALOT of people with KlK Avatars or Siggies. And yet, not a single game IC. Figured this was worth a shot.

The Kiryuin Academy for the Lifefiber Compatible

After the incident 30 years ago, the world became aware they were not alone in the universe; and that some of the other living organisms were quite hostile. Life Fibers, an alien species of living cloth that devours entire species and worlds in order to create more of itself, had tried to devour the Earth. A Terrifying creature able to strengthen and even jump start evolution of other beings to meet its own end. It was content on waiting millennia for earth to ripen into something worthy of it's appetite. But in the end, it failed. Perhaps it underestimated humanities tenacious nature, or simple couldn't for see a species it helped grow to power ever surpassing it. Either way, it was thanks to brave warriors and heroic sacrifice that the world was spared the fate of being forever worn by life fiber.

But Life Fiber came again only 20 years later. The means once used to defeat the life fibers were largely lost in the first great battle, it was only through the strength of Ryuko, Satsuki, and many others that the second life fiber threat was thwarted. But this made them think. These champions would not be around forever. Resting the fate of humanity in so few hands was also unwise. They devised a plan.

They had an abundant supply of now inert life fiber to study and shape to their will. They would fallow an variation of one of Satsuki's original plans. Find students with high compatibility to the strength enhancing fabric, and train them to use the fibers accordingly. Will this be a collection of youth's be the world's next hope? Or will, even in well meaning hands, the life fibers bring only death?

any who that the basic set up. It would be a school setting, much like a kinder, gentler Honnoji Accadamy. Though it would not be a walk through a field of flowers. This school is meant to train a new generation of humans to protect the world after all.

I wager much of the opening would be inter club rivalries for dominance. I'd like to introduce a wrinkle in the plot to raise the stakes, and while I have vague thoughts on that, I have no concrete ideas and would LOVE some help on that. To that note, and experienced CO GM would be welcome. My schedule is rough and I can't promise to be on as much as I'd like.

Some basic ideas on the academy's 'star' system.

We could either bypass it all together by having players only play 2 or 3 star students

or

have it work like so
0 star: Compatible to life fibers, but has not been trained in any usable area of expertise (IE: newbie with no club affiliation )
1 star: Entry level club member, learning the ropes and testing the waters. Perhaps they'll discover this is their limit? Perhaps they'll decided to peruse other clubs or interests?
2 star: You are either the captain of or among the highest ranking members of your club, your outfit is customized to your skill set.
3 star: You are the elite of the Elite. You are definitely the head of your class, club, and perhaps even a member of the student Council. You only answer to the School Director and her faculty. But even so, you are given a lot of freedom.

Please vote on which system you like.

Did a small post, figured it was time for her to declare her pirate father by name and be truly ready for battle should it come to that.
Hertha shrugged at the marines retort "A fair point, but I think the name suits me better anyways. But I should introduce myself regardless." she said raising her free hand and drawing her large blade. Once free from the sheath she banged it against her shield thrice, to a booming sound each time. Afterwards she took a battle ready stance, her shield held before here and her blade pulled back ready to be slashed forward at a moment's notice. "I AM HERTHA, DAUGHTER OF THE DRED PIRATE, BALDER THE BLOODY, THE GREAT WARRIOR OF ELBAF!" She declared in her loudest voice, hoping it would reach the ears of the approaching marine back up. Even nearly 50 years after her father's death she knew his name carried weight. Many was the marine ship he had sunk, many the battles he had won. she had preferred to keep it a secret, but if she was going to commit to piracy, no need to hold that secret back now.

"If you are pointing a blade at my captain." She glanced at Eden and added with a wry smile "for now at least" then turned her glare back at the Marine "Then you'll have to spill my blood first."

dear me oh my this game got away from me. Curse you 'the real world' and making life so crazy these past few days.

While I'm still interested in this game ( I love Shinju so much she'll be a character I keep around for other games lol ) I not sure I can keep up with something this size and level of activity ( clearly given I haven't at all posted yet ) so I guess I should just bow out.
sorry that took so long all >.< crazy few days, still got a few more crazy ones, but I ingested enough caffeine to force myself to post lol
Hertha hummed thoughtfully as he replied to her statement. To his credit, he was not acting like some kind of pompous ass who continued to demand her pledge to be his crew member, but neither was he giving up on her. He did raise some good points. While she was familiar with sailing and even sometimes working with pirates, all be it in a limited capacity, she was unfamiliar with working on a pirate ship. It would be good experience, a stepping stone to greater things. He was making it clear that he wasn't asking for her warriors oath. He wanted someone strong and trustworthy to help him start from scratch, and he had the respect for her, it seemed, to let her go her own way. Still, joining the crew of an aimless captain wasn't quite how she pictured her start into piracy. Before he could finish his statement or she could give him a reply an explosion shook the deck.

The red-headed giant turned to look in the direction of the commotion, wasn't every day a quite little dock was suddenly shook by a boom like that after all. A large man...in a marine uniform no less, and a lady with what appeared to be a long range gun. The Elbafin warrior sneered at the weapon, while she respected marksmen as a task requiring equal skill and practice as any warrior she didn't much like to be up against them. They tended to run away rather than clash head on, a troublesome tactic. She raised an eyebrow at Eden's rather dry and direct call to arms. She grinned widely "Aye, tis rude to not give a proper welcome to new comers." she replied sliding her sword back over her shoulder and standing up.

She arrived shortly behind Eden, standing perhaps arms length away from the captain. her blade still rested in it's sheath on her shoulder, but her shield was now in place on her arm. The length of an average door, but perfectly round the sturdy defensive device looked as if it could with stand the blast of a small caliber cannon. She blinked at the sight of joh Ricden standing before her. "Red lighting, eh?" she said with what sounded like half a scoff "Why couldn't I get a name like that? My 'air is as red as it comes and I hit as hard as a thunda bolt. Why does everyone get a nice title but me?"
I have...like Villan ideas...but have yet to come up with any kind of story for them. Guess I need to work on their motivations or something.
will get something up ASAP, crazy past few days and i'm only at the mid way point >.<
