"I travel across an ocean then the third continent just to get here and now I can't have a celebratory drink of water? Damn." With a sour expression plastered to his face, Iwa angrily threw his empty flask back into his bag and sat down, inhaling a short breath of air. He looked around at the others under the gazebo, eight of them. Iwa only really saw four of the eight though, as the other four were covered in a strange shadow, almost as if he was only supposed to see the four in front of him. Slowly standing up, Iwa scratched the back of his head, unsure of whether he should introduce himself or stay quiet. 'Geez, this is awkward. It's like a bad movie. Nobody talks unless the script calls for it and everyone just stands there, motionless. If I wanted that, I'd have stayed back at the dojo with uncle. Atleast things never got awkward there. Weird, maybe. Awkward, no. Ah, screw it.'
"So, I'm Iwa Hoshi, a martial artist from Xilin. Wassup?"

After all introductions have been made ((You still have to put your characters interacting with the other characters)), a booming mysterious voice begins to speak.
"You all have come here for the sole purpose of becoming truly god-like individuals and I shall grant you that wish, but not through magic or miracle, but through method. I have trapped you all here for the remainder of the test and no one shall leave unless you pass. Prepare yourself to survive in my pocket dimension for five whole days before you are granted your powers. There are requirements to be met besides survival. You must be able to find and inflict damage upon me with whatever skill you have, you must be able to use the resources around you to make a feast, and you must be able to kill a dinosaur without trying. Do these things and you will have passed my test and you will be allowed to leave my pocket dimension with great power. If you are lethally injured or die, I shall revive you back in your world and you can try again next year. Good Luck.

Appearance: Iwa is 6'4 with a semi-muscular build. He is light skinned with black hair and green eyes. His hair is styled into a sweet pompadour about three inches long. He wears an old brown jacket that stops before it reaches the stomach and a black sleevless shirt underneath. He's also got long, muddy blue pants on and black sneakers. The only thing that he doesn't start off with is a pair of red shaded aviator glasses he will find in the first mission.
History: After his father abandoned him at the front door of an old martial artist who goes by the name 'Uncle' at the age of two, Iwa has been training in the art of fighting, learning many different styles and moves. When he turned twenty five, Uncle commanded him making the journey from the second continent where he and Iwa lived comfortably to the first continent where the old stone gazebo known as the Starting Area was. After finding his way there, he began to realize that there was no way he was going back (and that his flask was empty, despite having filled it up at a river minutes earlier)
Personality: Iwa is a very optimistic and cheery person, often going out of his way to make people smile or improve a situation. Unfortunately he also has a short fuse, which might become trouble in the future. He believes in luck, which he claims to have much of (and it becomes frightfully obvious that he does). He is a gambling addict who has a losing streak (which makes sense because the games are rigged).

Okay let's try this. Also, I'd link the Chatzy in the first post Kit Kafni 22 Female Not much can be learned from Kit's typical appearance as she's typically covered from head to toe with only her narrow face shown: she has dark skin, a thin nose, full lips, and violet eyes. Underneath the simple headress, her hair is a brillant white, typical of the people of her culture. She tends to wear neutral colors and her slender figure is hidden under her robe. She's on the short side, even for a woman, and is typically smiling or smirking. Kit was born and raised in a desert chiefdom to a poorer, but large, family. She was one of the youngest in her family and the children tended to steal from richer families. However, the community was close knit and most people would turn a blind eye on the hungry children. Kit, however, was more of a kleptomaniac than a hungry child: she stole things she simply wanted: jewelry, fine clothes, you name it. Needless to say, this got her into trouble often and eventually people stopped being so tolerant of Kafni thievery. As Kit grew older, warnings turned into beatings. Then when she was old enough to be considered a full grown woman, she was not only threatened with the prospect of losing a hand, but being forced into a marriage with a husband who would keep her in her place. Neither she nor her siblings wanted that, so she was encouraged to leave. So she did. Kit is rather sassy and blunt. She’s independent and charismatic, but also dishonest and about as trusting as she is trustworthy. If she could get close to anyone, she doesn’t allow it and prefers to avoid entanglements so that she can watch out for herself. Sorry, in my haste I forgot the history and personality fields.
Abilities will evolve over time (except for raw spirit). Your basic punch will turn into a roundhouse kick or something, and your basic flame, ice or lightning is a gateway to more powerful magic. If you'd rather not have them, that's fine.
